some days before Christmas tragedy struck like thunder her eyes were swollen all of a sudden not only swollen it was dripping water closed and even when I tried to open it I could not see the balls only fat flesh I was panicking stricken I wanted to run to a vet then I remembered the ear episode so I changed my mind went to see an experienced person with over 30yrs experience and counting compared to my 5 one thing too is that she has always been a healthy dog she has not fallen sick the only thing that gives me concern is when she becomes picky with food so all these things were sudden, unexpected and too much for me I expected her to be disease or infection free for ever. so after seeing the person he told me to calm down he told me what to do(bought some antibiotics to administer to stop further growth of bacteria , prepare normal saline and use to flush the eyes four times a day against irritation while I add my own clean around the eye with hot water 3 times a day and make sure she does not come in contact with dust and after 4days she was as good as new if I had gone to that bleeping vet I don't even know what the result would have been. am not saying its not good to report to yur vet if yu notice something wrong but one thing is that some vets are quacks while some breeders/owners(like bobbysaxy, Prodeegee, arcbay Etc) are experienced, have seen it all and can help in trivial issues like this


it was badder than this one they first day but I was too worried to take pics so the pics below are from the second day

I have a pics of him and his mum taken about 10 days ago. he is 10months old and bigger than his mum already

lemme share pics of the smallest guy in the 2nd litter pics was taken about 30mins ago I sold him to a family that just lost their 16yr old dog. this guy is short coated unlike his mum

her pups especially the second litter were vampires they sucked flesh out of her I was even feeling sorry for her and it became worse when they started walking they were following her up and down I had to get a chair for her so that she can climb and be free from those breast sucking demons it got to another level when they started taking solid food they would eat her food suck her breast and she wee just be looking at them. she decided to pay them back in their own country when I got the chair for her she will just climb the chair and be looking at dem like ''Wetin concern me and Una''so I had to alternate bringing and removing the chair to balance the equation in most pics there are mostly 3 pups the other 2(one died in each litter someday after birth no stillbirth) were cool guys and they like hiding their self

like I said earlier her first litter came February 2016 when she was almost four yrs old. I did not tie her up like most people do when their dogs are pregnant although I almost did becos she likes stretching a lot and she likes standing on her hind leg even when she was pregnant but someone told me it was not necessary and it's inhumane(i knew the latter) so after all the stretching she gave birth to 6 pups it took about 48hrs cos she dropped them one by one long intervals although she did not show any sign of stress or discomfort at a point I even thought she was done but she kept on surprising me I don't have pics of the first litter again but pics of the second litter is available below. second litter came march 2017 six pups again same procedure one at a time.

personally I don't like it because it affects the rear angulation in pups some may be straight, some slant, some semislant(i think Nigerians invented that) and some I just don't know. it will not always turn out like that but I see no reason for a cross between straight and slant.

around October last year I noticed something is wrong with her left ear,it was fat swollen and dropping(no longer erect) I touched it and there was fluid at the tip of the ear I just gave it time if it does not go away I will strike fortunately after about 4days it vanished only to reappear stronger this time around I did not sit and watch I took her to a vet he have her some antibiotics(dunno which one) and told me not to worry I left hoping for the best then I travelled(for 1 week) when I came back what I saw made me almost shed tears the ear was gone fat, heavy, dried and squeezed all over with parsley distributed hair on top the ear unlike before but the most painful thing was that it was no longer erect like before. first time taking my dog to a vet and he disappointed me 100% well at this stage there is nothing I can do since its already to late. what I do now is just clean the ears and try to garnish it a little.



NB: this pics is not too clear but it is the current situation of the ear now after it has been scarred, pics when this ear saga started is not available.

This is a friend issue right now. She got married recently and things are going on well. She was a virgin till her wedding night. She has no good social life. Her husband of a recent started complaining abt her not initiating the play. She actually enjoys it but finds it almost impossible to ask for it.

I'm getting frustrated with the condition my father is giving me before I finally settle down. I will be 34 years this 2018 and would have married (with 2 or 3 kids by now) since but my dad gave the excuse that he didn't like the girl.

She's developing well, very very well, just being cautious taking her on walks as it's the harmattan season and that's when the parvo virus thrives. So she's been indoors and doing exercises and feeding.
