Feexo: 1. It is not compulsory but it is just 500 naira (#Word) 2. Yes, you can check in 24 hours to departure date. 3. Once you sort out your excess luggage at point of departure, it covers you till your final destination. You won't even get to see your luggage at the stop over airports until POE. |

teemodel: House pls I need email address of stevee, imperiouxx, juntod....have some questions for them. Anyway I have a masters in engineering from uk 2013 but I am going for msc project management. ..is it better to say I am doing PM because I want to set up a bleep company in Nigeria. Also I didn't take gre because of my qualifications and didnt have a waiver letter....I need una advice gurus in d house If you have the financial capability to set up a company, then project management after Msc in Engr is not suppose to be a big deal. As for the GRE, I don't think you have a problem. Your Msc is a good enough reason to be exempted. |

Mickyboiz: Good evening house, I will appreciate Yes, you must have a sponsor or else you can sponsor yourself. From your profile, you clearly can't. As an international student, you can only work 80 hours a month. The money from this work is barely enough to feed you for that month let alone cover your tuition and fees. |

musabones: Hello Guys, I don't think you will be out of status if your transfer is successful and the new school validates your SEVIS information for spring. By the way, discuss it with international students office of both schools. They are in the best position to clear your doubts. |

goldenchic: Gudevening house pls I need a cheap flight to Bwi asap. Pls help me on how to go about it. I want something lesser than 400k thanks I think only British Airways goes direct to BWI. Its very expensive especially now. New York is very close to Baltimore. You can get a flight for JFK and another connecting flight to BWI or even use a bus cos its just 25 dollars and its 3 hours drive. |

ridimic1: nybody applying to troy uni............lets hook up That doesn't stop it from being a good school. It only means the ranking was inconclusive (No complete data was provided) or its not ranked among the first 100 or so. Ranking is affected by so many factors. A school may be very strong in Arts but weak in sciences. This affects the general ranking. A particular department e.g Engineering in an RNP school may be far better than the same department in another school ranked 50. What matters is the accreditation of the particular program you are going for. #My2Cents |

castrotroy80: VO: Who is sponsoring? YOU: Myself and my mum. Actually, a major part of my sponsorship comes from proceeds from my late father's estate which is presently managed by my mum. The estate comprises of haulage and freight services (package the transportation well my broda) for PZ, Cadbury, Wampco and Ewekoro cement as well as proceeds from real estate (landed properties). 1 Like |

castrotroy80: Good evening house, please i want the profs in the house to check this reahearsal question and answers for me if there is anything i need to change Everything looks good. But personally, I think you should work on the bolded. As a married man, and a worker for that matter, the VO may not be patient enough after you simply say your mum is sponsoring. So, try to include why she's sponsoring when answering that question. E.g. VO: Who is sponsoring? YOU: Well, as an heir to my late father's estate, I will be sponsored by my mum from proceeds from the said estate. The estate is transportation agreement with pz, cadbury, wampco and ewekoro cement and landed properties. |

Joenice: What about VoIP? Is it the cheapest? I really would like to know. Mobile Voip is just an application where you log in these other providers. You can use your username and password for telbo on Voip. Thats what I use. |

Joenice: Is it a must to pay for SEVIS before going for your interview? YES IT IS A MUST. Even if you have paid but forgot to go with your payment confirmation page, they may interview you and place you on hold until they are able to verify that you have actually paid. |

bbdd: Is it a must to get a supervisor before applying for direct phd? It depends on the school. For some schools, all you need do is submit your application packet and they pass it round the desk of all profs. If anyone is interested in you, he/she contacts you. Other schools insist you get a supervisor on your own before applying. In any case, it is preferable to contact profs so as to increase your chances. 2 Likes |

Theflint1: Thanks for the caution, but I doubt if they think in those terms. Of course they don't. I am only advising base on the official purpose for recommendation. Most of these schools are looking for our money and won't care. Canada schools don't joke with LORs. They check these things. If you defer admission, they ask for new LORs if the old ones were submitted over 12 months. But USA schools might not bother to check that. Just my 2 cents to avoid issues. |
Travel / Re: General U.s.a (student) Visa Enquiries-part5 by juntod: 11:19am On Aug 03, 2014 |
Theflint1: from now up until when the schools start reviewing application documents is still way less than a year. Your choice. They become weaker by the day. A prof who has all the best things to say about you this year might have a different opinion next year. |
