Stewee: Roger that!Have replied u sir |
Amerinancy, are you happy now that an issue b/w Idazbawz and Teddy has become an issue b/w Amerinancy and Idazbwaz? Like I said earlier on, we can only be neutral. Take it or leave it, you didn't address the issue maturely from the beginning. There are always two sides to a coin. We can't conclude until we hear from both parties. Let this issue die plz... Let's move on. We are bigger than this. #OneBigHappyFamily |
Idazbawz: thank you, sensible broda!!There is one yellow card they do there at the airport. Its also a vaccine card. Just meet any cleaner there them go do am for you. Na 500 naira in those days. That one will take you through any POE in the world. Trust me, I don use am tire |
bartino: thanks bro,I intend taking the GRE only without Toefl please can you help me with possible embassy questions. thanksBro, read this thread from page one to the last. You can focus on this chapter 5 only. A difficult task but its worth it. You will find so many interview transcripts to learn from. |
abymballer: Hello house, Please I noticed that some applicants have yellow or orange doter sticker on their international passport which is given to them by the CGI employee at the Pavilion...DOES ANYONE UNDERSTAND WHAT THAT MEANS? Cos I noticed does with that sticker got their visa approved. It has nothing to do with visa approval. Its just a sticker to show that you have been checked at that point. They sometimes forget to put it for some. They didn't put for me but I got the visa. |
abymballer: Here is ma correct for my next interview....Help me out on ma flopsEverything looks good except for the bolded above. Your cousin has to come last if need be. An impatient VO may cut you shut before you can explain further. Just forget about your cousin. They didn't record that down in your last interview. Talk about their rankings on those sites and also talk about how they pride themselves in producing the best IT personnels in the US. abymballer: vo: okay.. what do u plan on doing after you graduate?Forget that 5 years. You are sounding like a robot even on writing. Be fluent and confident about your return. But my long term career goal is return to Nigeria to work with any of the top firms hiring the services of computer scientists. Although on the long run, my dad really needs me around to succeed his business when he retires since I am his only son. |
francisabuah: plz house do i need to activate my visa card online before i cud use it??Yes you have to activate it on ATM. There is a pin you have to create for online transactions. |
Graviton2: Morgan?Yeah. I dey target HBCUs for a reason. Heard they are instrumental for black employment (for ECE). Don't know about others. |
richard4ssky: are you applying to or are you in MSU murray state universityNo bro. My MSU is different. |
Theflint1: just wise the e-diot is back.justwise your attention is needed |
cutelekush01: I told her the purpose of sending her a PM...bro that one don go jare..I feel you bro. Hope you got the info you needed already. |
zeezahbee: if you have ssn and a job, you can take credit. anyways why need a car so early? big boy thingsWe must flex Obamaland to the fullest my dear. Some of us might return to Africa immediately after studies. We never can tell. The earlier the better. I pray make I nor run from USA if Haliburton employ me for Naija. |
cutelekush01: Bro I need to ask cus there was a time I had to beg a fellow Nairalander here to read my PM and could you believe she told me to state my problem here..I felt so bad because that would be the first time I would seek for help from an opposite sexYou really can't blame her. If she replies your PM, you automatically have her email address. She may have genuine reasons for wanting to know your reason for PM first. Some of us don't care cos the email we use here is just for the purpose of NL. |
suxes2005: Sorry for me laziness guys.If you have someone in USA or any country that sends out western union, they can help you pay it. Otherwise, go to Seme border and pay at Eco Bank. |
zeezahbee: nah, they cant allow down payment because she gat no ssn or any credit history yet. installmental payent are for people who gat jobs. they have to know how you want to pay. if she needs a car asap, she will have to pay in full. depending on the state, for texas, you can still use your naija lincense for a while but somone that got lincense has to sit beside you or you go do the online road test and they give you temporary lincense that you can use for a year, same with chicago, so after a year, you can them get the real lincense, remember you will pay insurance alsoYeah, I mean after ssn. You get that through your school once you get a job with them. Someone at MSU explained that to me. Anyway, make I reach there first. |
dahfweshdude69: I will be going on Friday via emirates...once again.. thanks to everyone who helped out.. may GOD bless u all...as for other visa applicants, God will surely answer u'all.Safe flight.. go and clear the air.. we are coming. In Graviton's voice, Akpu still dey sweet us |
Amerinancy: HELLO GUYS,I HAVE PAID MY FULL TUITION TO MY SCHOOL THROUGH WIRE TRANSFER TODAY. IM LEAVING ON 4TH AUGUST, IM FLYING KLM BUSINESS CLASS, BUT I WANT TO SEE MY AUNTY IN BOSTON.Why pay tuition before travelling? Was it mandatory by the school? Anyway that aside, you have no problem landing anywhere in the states. But it will be better you tell them you are connecting to your school directly to avoid POE issues. Once dem clear you, find your way to your aunty house. I'm also not going to my school directly. As for the car issue, we are on the same boat. I have made all necessary inquiries about getting their DL there. Its easy if you have the new Licence that can be verified online. Please verify it yourself before you leave the country. Getting a car is easy after you get your license issue settled. You don't need to buy the car outright. Just made a down payment and then pay the rest in monthly instalments. |
Amerinancy: i have always said zee is immature, and some guys said i was too harsh. @idazbawz if you feel he is accusing you, call him on phone. no one is superior here we all type and post without even seeing each other faces. As for me, I'm not scared of criticism. anyone can say whatever they want to say, but me Nancy i stand firm with teddy. like it or hate it.So, what is the point asking Idazbawz to call Teddy if you have already made your conclusions? I am not surprised though |
ridimic1: pls hw do i calculate d fees of some schools whom jus write like $500 per credit......i will like to kn the full sch fees thankssMost courses are 3 credits. So, that will be 500 x 3 which is 1500 per course. Multiply this by the total number of courses to get full tuition. E.g 10 courses will give you 1500 x 10 which is 15,000. |
zeezahbee: you sef wan go flight school abi wetin stewee call the school sef.LOL.. I nor get that kind mind oh.. I wan get info about M1 visa joor |
kennyzita: yea, I have got six years work experience but I found on the website just now that GRE is not required and I printed it out. that should suffice, right?Wow, 6 years work experience should be convincing enough to the VO as a reason for exemption. That print out will also help. But remember you don't have to tell the VO you applied to just one school (at least 3). The VO could be harsh and will want to know how you got admitted into other schools without the GRE. So, put all your strength on the work experience and you are good to go. |
coobboy: I remember in the previous threads so much help was rendered, no much criticismEnough of this criticism issue. Although we have to tune it down, we shouldn't encourage laziness. Those sites are everywhere in this forum. Someone who is not lazy will take the pain to read through previous posts. For the forum to serve its purpose, previous posts can't be rendered useless. I still go through old parts of this thread just to gather more info. |
Idazbawz: I'll respond to the accusations wen I'm less busyPls respond even if for the sole purpose of vindication. |
Stewee: Not Seen!Stewee kindly send me an email at your earliest convenience. juntod2013(at)gmail.com Want to make an urgent inquiry |
kennyzita: How do you convince the VO about GRE? That it's not required for your study since it's not even mentioned on the school's website unlike for TOEFL. Bowie State University, MSc.Do you have previous work experience that relates with your Masters? Do you have a previous research work? These could serve as reason for exemption from the GRE. |
eghost247: Thanks am actually going for masters and i have B3 in English did the VO ask you why you didn't take TOEFLTOEFL is not much of a big deal if you are able to convince the VO that you have a good command of English language. What Nigerians should really worry about is SAT/GRE/GMAT.. That doesn't mean you should not take the TOEFL is your school requires it. |
cutelekush01: But that doesn't mean they shouldn't put her tru..have seen a lot of people been refered to some sites like usnews, gradschool.e.t.c I think that is a better ideaYeah. Someone gave her those sites already. |
cutelekush01: @ juntod mouth sealedLOL.. Very wise decision you've made. We should always expect criticism. It makes us stronger. I am sure someone is seriously searching for schools by herself now and that will definitely give her more confidence about her choice of school while defending herself before the VO. |
cutelekush01: Callmebabe love your response die..that is why some people are silent followers on here because when you ask questions that are not clear to you some people tends to use that advantage to insult you...To avoid criticism, do nothing, say nothing, and be nothing. - Elbert Hubbard I like criticism. It makes you strong. -LeBron James |
cutelekush01: Who is this Amerinancy sef? I can't just stop reading your contribution...you've said it all and I'm really happy to see what you've got up there..By being one sided without hearing from the other party? Keep reading. Don't stop. |
zeezahbee: the visa was his only consolation, it was as if he was waiting for the visa so he could lash idawbawz. anyhow since both got there visa, make them settle off thread.TAKE COKE AND POPCORN Joor.
|
Callmebabe: I can see you have a huge problem. B*TCH, I have no patience for people like you, mind your business okay. Whether you like it or not, lazy people get the easy way out. Just stay off my posts....Someone has given you some good sites to search for schools. You should be more concerned with that now. By the way, lazy people may get the admission the easy way out. They may even scale through the interview stage. Laziness will not help you while in the US at all. No enemies here. Once you find schools of your choice, Zee will still guide you on how to proceed. Trust me. |
