rvp2018: Lol? We are back to fuzzy maths. 94M dollars is a lot of money for that interchange. Nairobi expressway first is six lane road of 30kms - with 10 interchange - and Africa's only elevated expressway for 18kms.
Stick to facts. This Upperhill-community viaduct and interchange - cost 30m dollars. Compare that yours. YOU GOT RIPPED!!
That interchange is reasonably priced, for a 4 tier interchange that has 70km of streets and storm drainages. When you combine the yet to be built bridges on the Nairobi expressway you call interchanges, they wont match up to the construction marvel of that 4 tier interchange and mind you, it comes with additional community street construction.
Your 27 kilometre Nairobi expressway is unreasonably priced and i blame corruption. How do you construct a 6 lane 15.5km road which has a 4 lane 11.2km elevated section at a cost of 620 million dollars?
rvp2018: I hope Africa travellers doesn't lose interest on your slumpolis and keep the pictures coming. We have been asking pictures for ages. And now we have it on clear camera.
vaxx: laugh it out bro . and remind the idiot it is 94 million dollar against 620 million dollar
And you are reminded Rvp2018, the figure is 94 million ( the cost has remained 94 million throughout it construction). Meanwhile, Nairobi expressway cost has jumped from 525 million dollars to 620 million already and the project hasn't even crossed 10% yet.
By the time they finish your expressway, the cost will be at 1 billion dollars plus.
rvp2018: Drones shot allow us to see your integrated slum for what it is - and you've see Nairobi in all it's glory. Telling me to watch an highway when I have drone aerial video is crazy
The question remain - outside the main highway - what I am seeing untarred roads all over ACCRA?
The only integrated slum in Africa can be found in Kenya.
look well, and you will see that all the roads in that video are tarred.
rvp2018: AN Intercharge costing 100M dollars versus expressway 30Km - with about 18km elevated with 10 Interchanges. How do that even compare? Those are ignorant people.
A 4 tier interchange with 70km of roads and drainage construction.
vaxx: Don't mind that idiot, it is just plain envy. when you check the comment section of that video, you will see Kenyans themselves juxtaposing the cost of the project to their own Nairobi expressway . saying that of pokuasi is of high standard even with 94 million dollar compare to 620 million dollar of their own Nairobi expressway.
Excellent news: Germany will support launch of a new “German-West African Center for Global Health and Pandemic Prevention “ . It will be located in Ghana and be part of 8 new centers worldwide to fight global challenges #sciencediplomacy#weareinthistogether
The inner city roads - untarred - around pokouase intercharge - look at road just around it.
Lipstick on a pig
as part of the project, there are 70km of Pokuasi inner city roads that will be tarred. In the video, 94% of the roads in view are already tarred but covered in dirt due to the construction.
90% of the properties in the pokuasi area are mansions that a Kenyan would not afford to live in.
gallivant: Lagos metro has a population of over 20 million while Nairobi is hovering around 4 million. The size of the city was never in contention, it's all about quality. Get your mind off the gutter!
So you compare Lagos State population to Nairobi city population?
rvp2018: My friend - nobody trust anything you saw or draw - you're wasting time. You have the credibility of a Nigeria International ashawo claiming to be a virgin
You just declare the entire Legon - the University of Ghana property
Post a credible link like I have done.
Fool
unfortunate facts cant be disputed as reveal by the satellite data.
There is a reason why Legon is refer to as the humongous university
And that is because it campus is too big.
KNUST also have a bigger campus than your UON, KENYATTA AND MOI university combine
rvp2018: Let start from Kenyatta university. 1) Main campus sit on OVER 1,000 acres - it was bought from Kenyatta family (who own 10,000 acres adjacent to it - Northland city)
The Main campus is situated on a beautiful and serene 1,300 acres piece of land.
2) Kitua campus - 500 acres - http://ku.ac.ke/campuses/kitui/ http://ku.ac.ke/campuses/kitui/ he campus can be accessed by either the Nairobi-Machakos- Kitui road or Nairobi –Thika- Kitui road. The facility is built on a 500-acre land with red volcanic soils
Let me stop there
Foolish kid
1. Their campus at Northland city measures 524 acres, the rest or the land is a Barrack There is nothing serene or beautiful at Kenyatta university. It hostels are messy looking and the campus dusty.
