rvp20182: what difference does having a fund and funding through budget makes the difference is when you have a fund, you can fund large projects based on it balance sheet while the other without a fund, borrow largely to fill it budget to build even a 1 million dollars footbridge |

rvp20182: GIIF - small potatos
The first results of the GIIF have confirmed this in an impressive way. Over the past three and a half years, GIIF has invested US $ 275 million in a portfolio of 12 infrastructure projects in 6 different sectors across Ghana. I've always asked you to deal with facts and not fiction. Small potato yet Kenya does not have a fund of it size It will singlehandedly fund a 25 kilometre concrete motorway with 12 lanes and 7 interchanges, to the tune of 500 million dollars |

rvp20182: How much is net - after you remove the borrowings and the expenditure. there were no expenditures from the fund in 2020. The will be a 500 million dollars draw down from the Ghana Infrastructure Investment Fund this year, to finance the expansion of Tema motorway. |

Wuoche: Let's see the performance of retail sector. Observe the drop in Accra, Lagos, Cape Town, Johannesburg and Dar. Nairobi didn't drop and remained one of the better performing retail markets in Africa. And yet Accra retail market is still far valuable than Kenya, according to the same Knight Frank. |

Wuoche: What people need to get to the wealthy 1% category in their respective countries. A South African needs $180,000 to get in the 1% in South Africa. A Nigerian need $70,000 to get in the 1% in Nigeria and a Kenyan need need $20,000 to get in the 1% category in Kenya.
Ghana is nowhere to be seen. I think their range is below $20,000. it means that Ghana was not selected for that review |

Jonraid: Compared to the other markets,Kenya faired better. That's the message. And yes,if the Kenyan market did well in holding down its prices then that means that our ROI is actually good. Ghana is not even covered by Knight Frank. You should be the last one to talk. You had a drop in prices, meaning that your market is bad for business And Ghana is highly covered by the report |
Foreign Affairs › Re: Kenya Is Ahead of Nigeria In All Aspect (Facts Don't Lie) by Just30: 11:15am On Mar 02, 2021 |
Wuoche: Even with that drop in prices Nairobi still performed better than the rest of SSA which dropped thoroughly. You should not even talk cause Ghana doesn't feature anywhere in Knight Frank report that was released today. Not true It listed the Best performers and the worst performers and kenya happens to be one of them You mean you didn't see Ghana in this same report?

Jonraid: Which tells you of good ROI when one invests in Nairobi. In other markets the slumps in prices might have been steep. A drop in prices will not give you a good return on investment |

Wuoche: Knight Frank 2020 report is out. Nairobi performed better than any city in Sub- Saharan Africa when it comes to luxury homes. Nairobi is top with a change of -3% and then followed by Cape Town with a change of -9%.
In Africa Overall.
Marrakesh is first. Nairobi is second Cape Town us third I dont know if its foolishness or dumbness You had a negative growth in prices and you are still here making noise my goodness what would man not see on this forum |
