In Ghana, all Government lands were given to Government by the Chiefs and families.

Unlike Kenyatta and moi republic, if Ghana Government wants to build any public facility in a community, the Government will inform the Chiefs and they will give the Government a free suitable land, that's all.

If it's a Family land, the Government will approach the owners(family), if they agree to sell the land, fine. If not the Government will go elsewhere so Ghana Government have no problem acquiring lands.

As for burying the dead in the house, such practice is seriously discouraged here in Ghana. Ghanaians know the health implications of burying the dead in the house so keep to your uncivilized nature okay

Nearly every Kenyan own land.Unlike Ghanaian who get buried in cemeteries..Kenyans get buried in their homes..in their land.In fact I doubt if there are Kenyans who are completely landless.Gov use to find such people and give them land.People who stay in urban slums all have rural farm land. Before the colonialists came to Ghana, we already had a highly democratic government structure. And we have maintained this structure since 1880 when Great Britain wanted to take over all our lands for the queen.

Before you undergo the process necessary to purchase a property, make sure you have verified who owns that land and that you are purchasing from the correct owner.

40% of land in Ghana is owned by chiefs, 30% by family. This means, majoring of Ghanaians have land ownership either through their families or through traditional authority (not direct ownership)

This makes land acquisition by the ordinary Ghanaian and all other private citizens very easy.

Kenyans cant even one lands because everything is owned by the Greedy Kenyattas and Moi's either in trust for Brits, Arabs or Indians and the ones he directly owns.

Only 7% of Kenyans have lands, the rest a foreign own.

The Ghanaian government does not have any business in land sharing and redistribution.

Today, any Ghanaian can buy land and go and register it and get his title deed in a week.

We solved our land ownership issues way back in 1880.

Our government is not in the business of land distribution
