Shma2020: having won international levels(world wide) . Do you think we have any peers in africa? But of course in Rugby south africa is our biggest fear. Back to Ghana; Does Ghana dominate in any world category? No. That will mean, when we narrow it down to African context, we'll be having a consistence performance in Rugby, cricket and rally. This means, we'll be playing in position one, two or the worst which is impossible 3. I will refer you to the world of boxing and football we dominate there in all categories |

i like your passionate argument but we all know corruption exist in all forms of government. Some countries even call it lobbying just to hide the fact that it is corruption. The difference is whether there are systems to check it and whether those systems work. I've always maintained, countries who decided to run totalitarian systems in order to keep their citizens in check after independence managed to control the hunger for power in the gap left after independence. And 98% of those countries have all progressed. Those who decided that, jumping into democracy when they least understood it created a mess that is still consuming us all. All the developed countries you know today run a tight system with centralised planning to control the masses in their formative years in order to grow and advance obaaderemi: The same problem here. At times we don't even know the real function the parliamentarians serve. They receive development funds running into billions and nothing to show. I still tell you, Africa is going nowhere if we continue to take it easy with these African rulers. Look at a video footage of any black African country on TV and see what it looks like. Check out the hdi of black African countries. You hardly see any of them beyond 0.5.... Ghana, Nigeria, Tanzania, Kenya are all below 0.6. South Africa is below nonentities like Lebanon and Libya. And yet all these countries continue to be run by very corrupt and brazen leaders because the people are quiet. Check out countries like Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia, even Vietnam that fought a long war. They all have serious things to show for their troubles. |

obaaderemi: Okay, we shall see. Remember Kenya too doesn't run a centralized government.. just like Ghana. But look at how Kenya has been mismanaged.. from poverty to slums to starvation while all along the political continue to hold large swathes of land and steal funds including international aid. Proper engagement does not work with these African rulers. The message has to be loud and resounding like what the black South Africans did with sharpeville and what Nigeria is doing now. One thing about is currently happening is that, you cant resort to that whenever you have and issue with the system and you cant resort to it all the time. You do this and use the opportunity to reform the system. The last time Ghana did something similar like that was in the 80s and overtime, we have created channels for issues to be resolved that they dont break down the system.. The Unitary system in Ghana run in such a way that i know where to go when I have an issue. The only problem with it currently is our attempt to decentralize in order to Give more power to Municipal Cheif Executive and District Chief Executive because the constitution lays the development of municipal and district development into their orbit. The current system does not empower them so we rely on our Members of Parliament for development, which is not their duty. |

Shma2020: And I said you dominate in Boxing did I? But the narrative changed. currently, Nigeria dominates in boxing(talk of west africa region) The issue here was who dominates and in which sport. You can't dominate when you play at third position. Antony Joshua is a well known boxer worldwide.. That alone fits to prove everything. But Maybe because Ghana is irrelevant makes your boxers not to be known. Except Anthony Joshua does not box for Nigeria. Isaac Dogbe and the rest dominate the Boxing scene in Africa and go out there to win belts on the global scene your country is not known for sports so you can rest your case now. |

popizaino: Oba I no like wahala one bit. I dey as gentle as the most gentle of all doves.I just like to call out his lies that are so obvious to even an unborn child. That's all.
If you believe the words of just30,then you can also belive a man with his leg tied would jump into 3mb without drowning because he attached a block to his legs Guy, you just live in Ghana with no understanding of things in Ghana. The last time a real protest was organized in Ghana was in 2014 We had the Yvonne Nelson organized protest And then, we had the one organized by Concerned Ghanaians for Responsible governance. Since then, we've only had special interest groups like Law Students protesting against entrance exams, Opposition parties either protesting against Voters Register or the EC and etc. |

obaaderemi: Black Africa will be liberated whether the thieves parading as leaders want it or not. Nigeria already leading the way. Mark this space: It's a matter of time before Ghana and Kenya follow Nigeria's example unless they are comfortable with the way their countries are handled. Black South Africans too will soon ask for stronger land reforms. They'll listen to Malema. They'll grow balls after seeing what Nigeria's youths are doing. We are not comfortable with governance here but the system we have here has room for engagement so that issues dont escalate to where END SARS has gotten to. Because of the Bureaucratic nature of a Federal system, if not run well, Officialdom becomes too far out of touch with realities of the ordinary Nigerian. Centralize systems have their own disadvantages but the above is not one of them. |

really wishing to be Nigerians? The bubble you live in has really grown big I know you and your lies, you make claims and assertions in thin air The internet is free and whenever we decide to protest again, it will with nothing to do with Nigeria but real issues we may want solutions to. Your constant attempt to rope us into your issues are the is the validation you require to tag along Ghana to be able to present a a picture of progress to the external world and your citizens. We dont compete with you because we cant use you guys as a yardstick, Doing so will be an attempt to drag us back to medieval times. Guy it was your citizens who went on Twitter giving testament of how great policing in Ghana is and how safe they are in Ghana more than their own country Nigeria. As usual, you guys managed to drag Ghana Police into the conversation of how bad SARS is to make your point. Next time, dont screw your head over and maybe you will reason proper. popizaino: Massa, pls spear me your silly attempts at denying everything that paint Ghana and Ghanaian as copy cat and wishing to be Nigerians .
There is no point in surfing the internet to bring the tweet to prove my ascertion when you still wriggle out of it with puerile lies.
Nigerians with our ego don't compete with Ghanaians.your people are the with her constant validations to prove to the outside world they are better than Nigerians do so. Big brethen Ghana is testament to the length you go in order to compete with Nigerians .
Endsars started and gain massive support from the international communities, celebrities from all works of life tweeted in support including heads so many organization.your people as usual in their quest to compete and copy from Nigeria started theirs as well, but unfortunately for them they were too insignificant to be recognized. |

what has an irrelevant sport got to do with Ghana? Shma2020: It's simply because Ghana is irrelevant. Look at the map well. What's the time in Moscow and Capetown? Nairobi and Paris? Are they not the same? |

popizaino: You're the noisy neighbour .
It was against bad governance in Ghana . Everyone knows you to be the noisy neighbour Last time we protested against bad governance was during our power crisis. That was 4 or 5 years ago, what has that got to do with Nigeria? must you always make it a competition? |

What is the time in Accra anyway. Naa because your guy's performance do not put them anywhere in the top But you will find Ghanaians, South Africans, Nigerians and etc before you find Kenyans around 40th or so. They don't have to pick the Time of Accra when they've already listed London |

soon after your Athlete can enter the top 20 of the Athletic Hall of Fame When it comes to sport, your country is not counted Shma2020: lemme try to be fair with you. Did I just said you dominate in boxing and football?? Now here is the reality.. You no longer dominate in boxing. Nigeria does. Now you only have football. And FYI, you don't dominate in football anymore; algeria, Senegal, Nigeria, Cameron, ivory coast does. So you're nothing as far as sports is concerned. Let our 2hrs runners run. They are making our country proud In global arena. Even south africa have long runners like semenya. Atleast beat them and you'll have no problems. |

This Only happened now because the IMF, WB and CIA have realised that, the best way to compare economic output of Countries is to use the PPP approach since the MER approach is medieval. Hence, theyve all since revised their method. TayserMahrii: Well played China. There's many ways of killing a cat.
The world can no longer deny China’s superpower. It’s now the world’s most powerful economy, a fact we can no longer brush under the carpet. The country’s rise to the top was inevitable, but no one had expected it to be so swift.
The catastrophic Covid-19 pandemic that devastated countries around the world has only made China stronger, which ironically was the place, where the virus originated. |
