The Aqua Safari man has decided not to construct the road anymore.

The Chiefs in that area have been like that since the days of Abraham. It's the same terrible mentality that pushed Kwame Nkrumah to establish the Harbor and industries in current place Tema. Ada was initially the place for that project
Yeah ... I know them paa

First and foremost
They don't sell their lands to outsiders so if you are an outsider and you insist on buying then be ready to pay an outrageous amount

Secondly after buying the land they will find ways and means to still milk you especially if they see you operating a hospitality facility . That kind of attitude pushed the Aqua Safari owner to go and start Safari valley elsewhere.

The man wanted to construct the road from Big Ada main street to his facility, he went to the DCE to ask for permission and they refered him to the Chiefs. Do you know what the Chief told him? he should give the money to him so he will construct it for him 🤣🤣
Later that day someone from the Chiefs palace called the Aqua Safari man on phone and told him not to give any money to them else they will take the money and chop🤣 From that time till date the road leading to Aqua Safari has not tarred
now I understand why I had to drive on dirt road last 2 weeks from the main street 😂🤣

If not for the chiefs and people of Ada the place would have been a serious tourism destination. Their attitude keeps pushing investors away
why .... What is it like over there ?

I'll love to ask you this just out of curiosity if you can explain it to me:
Why are your countrymen on the Bank of Ghana's neck for printing supposed 80 Billion cedis for the Government?
Is it because it may affect the IMF program or because the money cannot be accounted for? Or is it because they just see it as a sin for the Government to borrow from BoG in times of crises?

It's just for me to gauge more closely how Africans are so similar in their response to certain economic policies across different countries.
It is because the Central Bank requires parliamentary backing before they can do that, which they didn't seek . Which means the printing was illegally done

Without parliamentary approval, means the money could not be properly tracked by parliament to ensure it was used for what the laws allowed for.
The amount is 50 billion

It is also because we don't support Central Bank financing because no govt has ever been given that much privilege.

Ghana is ranked as one of Africa’s top 10 countries in 2023 with the least extreme poverty, according to Statista. Global Poverty line is income of $2.15 per day and the extreme poverty line is income of less than $1.90 a day.

Here are Africa’s top 10 countries with the least extreme poverty:

1. Mauritius - 0.13%
2. Tunisia - 0.22%
3. Algeria - 0.32%
4. Seychelles - 0.4%
5. Morocco - 0.6%
6. Gabon - 3.42%
7. Egypt - 4.07%
8. Mauritania - 5.35%
9. The Gambia - 7.98%
10. Ghana 🇬🇭 - 10.7%

#Source: Statista

Ghana being the smallest resources country among them all when population and economy are factored.
Also, only 214,000 people in Ghana Urban areas live in Extreme poverty.
That is a lot of progress.
We have to work hard to reduce the number of extremely poor people in rural areas down from the current 2.8 million.

Ghana's Parliament has been rated the best Open Parliament in Africa in 2022 by the Open Parliament Index (OPI). Ghana came first ahead of Cape Verde and Sierra Leone.
Compared to European standard, they're still far behind.

So there's lot of work to be done

Imagine comparing with countries that are far behind us 🤣😂
For now, it will just be an imagination.

No sane person should ever compare Ghana to countries like Kenya or Nigeria.
Like I've said before, development has a whole lot of ways of popping up in other areas..ie electricity, water, housing, cement, poverty, income, employment, roads development, transportation improvement and etc.

We're Africans. What you posted is normal in any large market. We're not Europe or America where you'll find carpets, modern containers and order on such markets.

Gikomba is a crime hotspot, a filthy market with so many local jobless men and women. Gikomba is like home for homeless.

Insecure Hobbits have been posting Kibera, mathare, gikomba and other filthy places for ages. No wonder constructing intellectual debates with them is futile.
I'm just wondering why your brother above feels ashamed.....

I posted this to educate the fool from Nigeria who doesn't have an idea.

Anyway, you've never had had an intellectual debate her. The only person from the Kenyan side that has sounded a bit intellectual a bit has been rvp.
Your attempt at making everything debatable, including fact is the reason why you dwarfs are considered not sound.
