Ghana is hopeless country - I have seen videos of what is considered big in Ghana - and it's really small. Seriously not worth the time. For example building a small mall or small apartment is big deal in your country .

I prefer a clear compound that allows a lot of sun light in than a shady compound that prevents lights

This is why some people think Kumasi is not beautiful, cos almost all their Estate areas have poor road connection and little landscaping/beautification.

The only house anywhere in Ghana without toilet are colonial house
very old.

The Ministry of sanitation embark on offering those houses free toilet facilities in Accra and could only find 600 of them.

So, that is not a real pronlem.
