popizaino:you mean by saying what they are not? Dem you are really desperate. Trotro is different from Aayalolo You cant sit in Aayalolo and complain about heats cos it is not there. Even if the road gets block by an accident, a journey to Amasaman wont take you 4 hours. There longest route in Accra is the route from Tema to Kasoa. That journey takes 2 hours 30 min and that is if you use the traffic prone places from Tema through Nungua to Teshie to 37 to dworwulo before you join the N1. And I'm talking about rush hour in the evening starting the journey 5.30 and you will get to Kasoa at 8. If you use the Motorway, you get to Kasoa 45 minute early. so your guy is lying but as usual, you are being you. |
Annael:why would there be when the report was released in 2018? Like I said, Facts are stubborn Fighting it wont get you anywhere. ![]() |
Tanzania is behind us in eveything just like Kenya Fighting those fact wont bring you up to our level Annael: |
Yes it is highly possible to generate 3.3 billion dollars from our more than 1 million year of return visitors. We didn't sell them forestry tourism, we sold them culture, art and entertainment. That is why we earned 3.3 billion dollars. And the source is Parliament report compiled by the tourism ministry with Bank of Ghana provided data. Kazikazi: |
Annael:you make me wanna laugh Ghana is a pioneer in the field learn abt Prof. Frimpong Boateng |

Annael:that is cnn reporting in 2019 before the end of the year how do you want then to put an end of year report in it? |
Annael:You are making too much noise This is Ghana Tourism data from the world Bank number of visitors and earnings from 2007 to 2017 in 2018, Ghana earned 2.2 billion dollars In 2019, Ghana earned 3.3 billion dollars.
|
Annael:you can start. an expectation as you quote. Those numbers were obtained from Visa issued in the US or UK. I posted it here last year. This is the reality of her expectation of visitors. Ghana earned US$3.3 billion from the Year of Return initiative, Tourism, Arts and Culture Minister Barbara Oteng-Gyasi has said. According to her, the earnings were proceeds from accommodation, food, shopping, local transport and entertainment. GHS6 million was, however, spent on promoting the Year of Return campaign in and out of the country. The minister emphasised that the average expenditure per tourist was $2,391. “By the end of 2019, the international arrivals reached 1.13 million from 956,372 in the year 2018 which was 27% growth which was above the global average of 5%. The average expenditure per tourist increased from $2,708 in 2018 to $2,931 in 2019. The receipts attributed to tourism is, therefore, $3.312 billion. The increased number of travellers to Ghana positively impacted five sector industries such as airlines, hotels, tour operators, restaurants, and arts and craft dealers to name a few,” she said when responding to questions in Parliament today, 28 May 2020. The government initiated the Year of Return, which was primarily focused on encouraging African diasporans to settle in Ghana and invest on the continent. |
Mkenya2019:i wont be joining you Kenyans in useless arguments. get to topic you country beats us in nothing developmental, infrastructure wise and all. |
