TayserMahrii:
Layman. You're saying what your unschooled great granny would say. When you borrow a loan from the bank to we dont say you took a debt. Money borrowed from lender is called loan and money borrowed through debentures and bonds is called debt. Kenya's loans will be paid at the pre-agreed intervals and interests, whether the oil prices collapse or not. This has nothing to do with english but economics. Upgrade your standards dummy.
grin grin grin

i love your dumbness, it's a signature Kenyan trait

every money borrowed is a debt you owe
your craziness has gone beyond.

well done servicing your debt when the market has gone crazy. grin grin

Those are fixed liabilities, not affected by the fluctuation in oil prices unlike your revenues which are all oil based. IMF is calling for you.
grin grin grin grin

sorry
oil does not makeup 10% of our revenue grin grin grin

Tullow is already demanding that Kenya pay it more than 10% of revenue collected.

That is bleeped up grin grin grin

which one is fixed liabilities ?

boy, better go and learn

What are you saying son ? There's no connection between Kenya's loans (not debts, learn the difference) and oil market collapse. At the very least I expect you to know that the oil market collapse is a mega boon to us.
Whatever loans you take is a debt you owe

grin grin grin grin

simple english

when markets go into troubles, all your bonds and bilateral loans pop.

Now you're excused to go and learn

We export $707M while importing $400M from SA, how are our priorities wrong? We are developing better infrastructure and more industries so that we can export more to our neighbors, how are our priorities wrong?
right thing

Importing from Tanzania is cheaper than the investments needed to grow it in the Kenyan desert. Farming is a business, not an activity undertaken to please Ghanaian critics.
grin grin grin grin grin

Stop leaching on Tanzania food reserve. grin grin grin

The first duty of a country is to feed it people.

Same thing in Kenya. We only import maize and beans. It's very cheap to import, cheaper than irrigating the desert with groundwater. It's probably also environmentally friendly. grin
maize and beans grows everywhere

Egypt is a net importer of food. Why haven't they irrigated the highly fertile sand dunes of the Sahara?
because most of those that they import cant grow in the desert grin grin grin
They dont import things that they can grow, especially stuffs that can grow everywhere.

stuffs like Apples, cherries and etc

I told you already, unconducive weather and topography for agriculture. Weren't you listening?? Lol
grin grin grin grin

Desert soil is highly fertile soil grin grin grin

All you need is irrigation, without irrigation
The land is unconducive

Egyptians have not irrigated the desert, just the Nile basin and it's for a reason. If you can't figure out the reason this discussion is futile.
Watch the video

They are making a portion of the desert forest.

grin grin grin grin

I've been there and there are farms far out into the desert, they dig wells deep into Aquifers to irrigate

no more excuses grin grin grin

In Kenya where applicable, many farms also use the groundwater for irrigation.

so Egypt is using groundwater ..man do you even know anything..ever heard of Nile river
another education for you

the nile basin is desert land

The Nile water is used to irrigate the land, those far away from irrigation lands depend on ground water.

Desert being turned into a forest, Kenyans are just lazy grin grin

Northern Kenya is even sitting on a huge Aquifer grin grin

They have not irrigated the Sahara desert, they have settled in the Nile basin for a reason. I am sure you know the reason why.
grin grin grin grin

another excuse again?

First off, Kenya is not a desert, Egypt is.
Secondly, The nile basin is very dry and that is why Egypt is fighting for the Nile water.

Farming is all about irrigation grin grin

Why haven't they irrigated the Sahara desert with groundwater yet?
Egypt is doing it and has been doing it for centuries grin grin grin grin

That is why they produce 6 million metric tonnes of maize.
Egypt is practically desert .

Maize production is dependent on the weather and topography. An oil producer doesn't need to import refined petroleum but Ghana and Nigeria probe otherwise.
we produce maize all year round with irrigation grin grin grin grin grin grin

we dont import refinened petroluem grin grin grin

our refinery is fully working grin grin

Now you just flipped the story around to fit the new reality I brought to you.
Initially you claimed that coronavirus is affecting indebted countries (jab aimed at kenya). When I told you German markets are collapsing and Germany isn't in debt you realized your blunder, now you're trying to wriggle your way out of this catastrophic mess. grin
all markets are collapsing because of the oil market collapse

i talked about that days ago grin grin grin grin

those collapses have led us to Kenya debts as investors are pulling out.

So your government is feeling the heat just because Ghana decided to hold on to lifting Tullow gas. grin grin grin grin grin

Just gas problem in Ghana is already affecting your government purse ?

The disagreement over the bill also adds to Tullow’s financial constraints that have seen the firm plan to cut a third of its staff to save about $20 million after being hit by weak output in Ghana, delays in East Africa and lower-than-hoped-for oil quality in Guyana.
