pacretus: STFU Dude... You've lost it. Criticism should have limit for lies. Bringing up Sudan and Niger republic killed your arguments. Sudanese seldom speak English likewise Nigeriens. If we have expatriates they are mainly Indians which only operate in private settings. Maybe Nigeriens and ivoriens have taking over your healthcare and Government, it's your fucking business.
2 years ago, about 400 foreign doctors were rejected because they didn't meet the standard in Nigeria.
Everyone is entitled to his or her opinion but lies should have limits.
Nigeria is AU and AU is Africa. Kenya's PM once said when Nigeria sneezes Africa gets Cold.
Whoever has more influence in African politics wins the argument and the day AU decides to suspend a plan because Ghana or Kenya wasn't in support, its the day I'll take them serious
I suggest this thread be closed. a standard is an examination so your noise makes less sense |

Mkenya2019: Okay that seem as huge as Kenya. What are the plans to plug this deficit. I think first you should stop that absurd 2yr rent demand - otherwise what will happen - most people (majority) who cannot afford - will live in informal settlements or cram themselves into available housing. all plans to solve the problem has been rejected by parliament and has led to various corruption enquiries So the government is leaving it to the private sector |

I think first you should stop that absurd 2yr rent demand - otherwise what will happen - most people (majority) who cannot afford - will live in informal settlements or cram themselves into available housing. The deficit is a reason why people are charging 2years rent advance, though the law says; you can only charge up to 6 months |

Mkenya2019: Our housing deficit I'd say is because gov got out of the housing sector - nearly completely - we have something called NHC - National Housing Corp - but it's mostly moribund. The housing deficit in kenya now stands at 2m housing units..annual deficit of 0.2M ( I think Nigeria has annual deficit of nearly 0.5M - I don't know about Ghana - but I imagine the problem is as serious as anywhere in SSA). The problem is private sector is of course profit driven and will not deliver the social welfare affordable yet well built housing that is needed here. Kenya is trying to pluck that 0.5M low cost affordable housing units. The other issue is pension funds including our national social pension funds have been dissuaded from investing in real estate - preferring to invest mostly in equity - due to project management/corruption issues when they were building large estates.
So for me - We have to try to get big fund managers (pension, insurances, banks, mortgage providers) work with gov to provide cheap affordable housing at scale - and we will deal with housing deficit - and make slums history.
As for 2-yr rent demand - those are "soft" issues that just need the law to regulate housing. You cannot demand 2yr rent - when folks are paid monthly. Tenants also have rights. Ghana deficit in housing stands a 2M units |

AskiaHarem: BREAKING NEWS possible coup attempt in Ghana says some sources. even Ghanaians dont believe that Because those things are not enough to cause a coup in Ghana. Lessons from all the coups in Ghana shows that, you have to be close to power to be able to carry out a coup. This is just a spinned story from my government to buy public sympathy |

360command: 1952, UK based physicist Narinder Singh Kapany invented the first actual fiber optical cable based on John Tyndall’s experiments three decades earlier. Thirteen years later in 1965 two British research scientists, Charles Kao and George Hockman working with Standard Telephones and Cables discovered that attenuation of fiber optics was caused by impurities in manufacturing.
Do Ghana have a satellite in space? Nigeria has and it was launched in 2003. This is to say we take part in space research programs but it cannot be compared to what the western world have done. Except they couldnt commercialize it because they didnt know how Until Thomas Mensah solved that problem, leading to a breakthrough in technology |

There is no single Ghanian company that has been to make impact in west Africa, let alone africa.

RTSC2: Look at this clown. Talking to you about economic matters is even insulting.
The day Ghana would have a company like fidelity bank, then they have arrived.
I won't even bother to add the heavy hitters.
No matter how low India falls, it would never be as poor as Sri Lanka.
That is the case of Nigeria and Ghana. The silly thing from you is, You dont know Fidelity Bank is owned by Ghanaians |
