Dont mix mental illness with illegal drugs smiley - what a tortured argument. Just share the link of the miracle 200M 3km bridge. That has to be cheapest such bridge.
why do I need to share a link
When I've posted everything here?

When in one sentence, your lunatic mind moved from it being too expensive to cheap ? grin

rvp2018:
Of course I know - a kilometre of bridge is expensive - 3 kilometres that very very expensive. 200M is NOT enough.
That is very cheap considering the scope of work ....

It should easily cost 1.8 billion dollars but we got it at 200 million dollars.

So now it's no longer expensive but cheap?
200m is very expressive and then not enough in one sentence grin grin

Good boy .... Anyway, this is the scope of work...

It will have 6 lanes, a cable string section and stand at 146 meters high, 30 meters width and will withstand winds of up to 250km/h

Bleep out here, you lack supply in everything infrastructure. Just look at Accra, do you even have enough office space for your government ministries? Simple economics dictate prices are determined by supply. End of story.
[/s]

Go and learn

We have more office space and pricing alone compel company to buy or build their own spaces than rent at some of the most expensive prices in the world. There are more than enough space for govt ministries such that we can create new ones today and they will have a space by tomorrow.

The demand for luxury is not determine by supply ... No matter how many is supplied, prices will still remain high.

Some cities just create a kind of status that determine pricing.

That's economics 101 go and learn

Madness as always.
rant on

Nairobi needs to develop from it slumpolis status and that requires huge investments..

Not every country has managed to make it cities slummy like Nairobi... You don't have to be going everywhere thinking that they are as slummy as Nairobi...

Not everything has to be a competition to the bottomless pit of Nairobi

Nairobi drops from list of most expensive cities
8 Jul 2021 — Mercer, an American asset management firm, found that the city has actually improved 50 positions in 2021, after ranking 95th in the world last

Nairobi out of 100 most expensive cities for expats - MSNhttps://www.msn.com › africa › kenya › ar-AALwbhf
28 Jun 2021 — The Kenyan capital improved 47 places to become the world's 145th most expensive city this year, according to a Mercer Cost of Living report ..
good for you

Atleast your city is not attracting the kind of wealth inflow Accra is attracting..

Yeah you should overtake Syria - because you're a war zone. Clearly you're not Hong kong.
Syria is only there because it's a war zone with shortages and sanctions. If not, Accra will be number one ..

Tehran is also there because of sanctions ...
The rest are all there because of pure economic demand and wealth inflow

Is the possibility contracting cholera in Accra now considered a luxury? Your city need to attract investment in real estate after you have managed to build a modern sewage system.
cholera was eliminated from here 5 years or so ago...

Don't bring last year's stupidity here. High prices are caused by high demand and low supply. Accra is no Venice.
[/s]

Have you heard of Veblen goods?
There's actually an over supply here

Anyway, Accra repeat it position for this year.
Politics › Re: Kenyans Are Far Behind Nigerians In Every Aspect – Fani-Kayode by Just30: 2:53pm On Jan 04, 2022
rvp2018:
The usual madness

A Veblen good is a good for which demand increases as the price increases. Veblen goods are typically high-quality goods that are made well, are exclusive, and are a status symbol. ... Examples of Veblen goods include designer jewelry, yachts, and luxury cars.
so now you understand why Accra real estate keep getting expensive and demand keeps going up with astronomical pricing....

That's the Veblen goods effect

Don't be a lunatic this year and know how to comprehend simple things...

This is driving astronomical pricing all across West African cities

rvp2018:
Implausible that slum like houses and cheap hotels can be expensive if there was good supply.
so you want to argue a simple economic term like Veblen goods?

Accra has the second most expensive real estate market in the world and number in Africa.

The law of demand and supply do not come in, in the case of Veblen goods ....

Return to secondary school economics

You dont make sense as always. More supply of housing would see drop in prices. Simple economic 101. The high prices indicate shortage of quality housing/accommodation/name it.
There's an over supply of housing in Accra and prices hasn't dropped

Accra has fallen into the Venice kind of tourist bubble which has led to astronomical rent prices....

Have you heard of Veblen goods in economics? That is what Accra real estate is.
Prices are constantly going up because of the huge demand, so more and more money is being pumped into it from all over Africa.
Politics › Re: Kenyans Are Far Behind Nigerians In Every Aspect – Fani-Kayode by Just30: 2:23pm On Jan 04, 2022
unfortunately, no African country wants to intervene in the political affairs of others...

The Equatorial Guineans themselves will rather go to France, Italy and Spain for political asylum than west Africa
GeneralDae:
That Equatorial Guinea is something else. A country of not more than 3 million people and amongst the top oil producing nations in Africa with one of the highest GDP per capita, yet no real infrastructure and majority live in poverty. We have a father and his son as President and Vice President and they both live like kings in the U.S. Most of their resources go to foreign countries and to the pockets of the ruling families, yet no African country seem to be concerned about this not even the AU. SMH.
Politics › Re: Kenyans Are Far Behind Nigerians In Every Aspect – Fani-Kayode by Just30:
Wow

Equatorial Guinea state oil company CEO has packed over 3 billion dollars of his country resources into Accra real estate..

No wonder real estate is so expensive here....

People are actually paying over 10,000 dollars a month in Cantonment, eii!!

@Vankelvin

Accra has become that silent tax haven where a significant chunk of West Africa wealth is being parked.

Let me play your game. You said our gdp is cooked just cos our cities can’t compete with SA cities and our Gdp’s are quite close(this goes to show you know nothing about gdp and annual economic output). The gdp of Morocco and Kenya is quite close(a smaller gap than Nigeria and SA) ,can you be kind enough to tell me why no Nairobi can’t compete with even thier fifth tier city.
