tylann: We are still slaves indeed You mean an african country has to act for permission to build a nuclear reactor for electricity generation Nigeria is a fluid case its quite unstable And yes that is not strange because the UN itself is concern when it comes to the proliferation of Nuclear tech |

NairobiWalker: That's awesome. We have Accra Road in Nairobi and Nkrumah Hall at the University of Nairobi. At independence, all roads in Nairobi were named after African cities and African heroes. It's hard to find a Road with a European name in Nairobi at the moment. Thats the Pan African spirit |

vaxx: The reasons Ghana is attractive to buisness investors might rightly have to do with Nigeria fear of competition and insecurities. though Ghana is also democratically stable and buisness friendly. few paper work are involve. it is the next big deal in west africa sub region behind Nigeria.
Ghana is currently housing another phase of usa and UK university (Lancaster and Webster). initially the schools target Nigeria but they were turn down due to the fear that it may collapsed the local private university since much more intellectual parent will prefer usa/uk university to the local ones when the fees are almost the same. Ghana is taking this as an opportunity. and that is bringing in lot of hard currency from neigbouring west african stundent who opted for the schools in Ghana. it's amazing how Ghanaians dont even book Webster or Lancaster much Those two universities are filled with Nigerians Nigerians hate competition, so no wonder they rejected those schools |

mekaboy: You are still not making sense. We attracted more investment in 2015. Now if you are using your brain, you will realize that all those things u listed as a reason why investors are not coming to Nigeria is actually an investment opportunity.
Road, power, oil and Gas are all investment opportunities.
Aren't u surprised that in 4 years, buhari did not repair refineries and could not attract a single investor to take over the refineries?
No matter how much recession we face, the Ghana market can never be bigger than ours. Check the volume of trade between Ghana and other countries, can u compare it with Nigeria?
So why will investors go to Ghana over Nigeria with higher purchasing power?
If you know anything about investment, every investor wants to recover capital in the shortest possible time. Nigeria and Ghana, which country will give faster returns ? why do you Nigerians make everything a competition? |

caprini1: Exactly part of the things I try explaining to people,,,even if ghana increase fuel from the 500 naira per liter to 1000 ,people won't complain much, because other structures are in place to ease the burden....buses have fixed fares ,and there are bus routes to everywhere in Ghana...nobody buys fuel for generators,I stayed in a hotel with Chinese citizens in tema last December,we watch football in the same pub, because nobody is mugging it kidnapping anybody.
ghana is seriously reaping the profits of our mess in Nigeria. Correction Ghana is reaping the profit of it stable environment. |

caprini1: lol...the money thing is always confusing to many Nigerians.....let me educate him in a lay man's term.......if 100 naira which is about 1.4 Ghana cedis buys you two bottles of water,in Nigeria which is 50 naira each ,in Ghana a bottle the size of our 50 naira a bottle of water is 3 cedis ,which is about 200 naira, get it? that right there just show you that The standard of living in Ghana is higher hence the high cost of living The same bottle of water cost one dollars and on most occasions 2 dollars in California |

Danielnino00: You can't ban Nigerian products simply because you don't have the balls for it.. Your government tried last year by closing down Nigerian owned shops in Ghana but how far? ..the shops are back and running how far is the fact that, we used that to gain access for some Ghanaian companies in the Nigerian market and if you try screwing with those companies access again WE WILL SQUEEZE THE BALLS OF NIGERIA even harder your government value those petty traders quite well |

Danielnino00: All those companies you mentioned are foreign owned in Ghana so u are making no point...
MTN doesn't dominate our telecommunication market...they may have he largest subscribers because they wee here first, but the presence of other telecommunication companies is keeping them on their toes...
