Danielnino00: Dear Ghanaian, your companies can't do Jacksh*t here... WtF is diamond cement? And Dunlop Ghana seriously? ..Do they make Dunlop slippers?
You are just making allegations without proof...
I wonder why your government aren't banning Nigerian products in their markets too? Dangote group is in Ghana... GT bank, zenith bank and others are in Ghana... Glo is in Ghana...Conoil is in Ghana... Silver bird group is in Ghana... Our entertainment industry dominate your airwaves.
Go ahead and show us power in West Africa by banning them
Oloshi The Chief Executive Officer of Ghanaian Association of Ghana Industries stated that there should be a clear letter written to the Nigerians complaining about this, and then also try and use some diplomatic means to quickly resolve it.” “If it does not work then we must also look at countervailing measures…it could be product targeting,” he said. “If we also make it difficult for them to export, then we would have to find common ground,” Kate Quartey-Papafio, CEO of Reroy Cables argued. Even for those who are able to export to Nigeria, you have to get different certificates for different customers and it takes a whole lot of time to get it. It makes the whole thing so cumbersome. You are exporting the same thing but you have to go and get certificates for each of the customers,” she said. Nigeria has used an “Import Prohibition List” to refuse certain goods entry into that country, including a host of pharmaceutical products. http://ghanatrade.com.gh/Trade-News/ghana-bans-goods-from-nigeria-other-countries.htmlLOTS of companies are already calling on government to do same to Nigeria products and companies but Ghana is too big for that we are more mature we will keep tolerating childish tantrums from Nigeria until we decide to ban Nigerian products then you guys will start crying again |

Danielnino00: If its hard to make it here then why's Kenya airway still here ? Why is DSTV and MTN still here ?
You are allowing the Ghanaian illiterate to fill your head with rubbish... Ghana's economy is even more dominated by foreigners than Kenya's... For starters, they don't even have an indigenous telecommunication... Surfline, Blu, Busy, Expresso Vodafone, MTN, Airtel/Tigo, Glo MTN and DSTV are in nigeria because they dominated your market |

Ibrahimanis: Source?
Innoson never lied to anybody, it's clearly stated 30% imports to produce it's products. So it's manufacturing not assembling.
Unlike Ghana where that scammer lied to them and they fell for it. guy in Ghana Kantanka make his own products oo He only imports lightings and some of the electrical units Innoson is the one doing the CKD importation from China |

Ibrahimanis: Mobius is pretty legit.
Katanka on the other hand? SMH
Katanka is older than innoson yet innoson just launched it's automated plant, shows some serious business.
You really need to read that article I posted.
That man assemble CKD vehicles and pass them off as manufactured vehicles. guy visit the plants the man mould his own engines build his cars from scratch. Innoson is still importing Chinese CKD for assembly. |

Ibrahimanis: For those interested, The FG's fears in refusing to sign the free trade is not unwarranted.
"NAN learnt, however, that the prohibited Ghanaian goods were actually manufactured in other countries and shipped to Ghana for re-packaging and export to Nigeria"
https://punchng.com/accept-goods-made-in-ghana-diplomat-pleads-with-nigerians/amp/
Nigeria despite it's shortcomings is still one of the most attractive and lucrative market on the continent, so such underhand practice by the Europeans/Americans or wherever the goods are coming from is not surprising.
And this is not the first time.
Benin Republic imports way more rice than it needs, guess where it gets smuggled to. Nigeria.
Same goes for cars, especially used ones.
I am all for signing the agreement because it would transform Africa as a whole but not at the detriment of Nigeria. sorry boy most of the goods coming from Ghana are produce right here in Ghana BUT SINCE NIGERIA is scared of competition from Ghanaian companies Ghanaian companies have resolved to look elsewhere the sub-region is big |

I tell you that if alshabab had the same weapons of Boko Haram. and foreign mercenaries, they would have sacked kenya I don't think so and Boko Haram is not a terrorist group Its a private mercenary fed by politicians in Nigeria that is how I can best describe it with focus on nigeria alone |

wirinet: Ghana success story in West Africa? How? Please state criteria where Ghana is more successful than Nigeria.
Northern domination of other regions, How? I thought the nation was practicing true federalism then, and each region had its own government and legislature.
The Nzeogwu coup was the chain reaction that led to the civil war, there is no argument about that. Kaunas Nzeogwu and his colleagues conspirators murdered senior military and political leaders of the other regions and the northerners decided to take revenge on the igbos living in the north, thereby leading to exodus back east and Ojukwu declaring independence and hence the civil war. check every measure of the progress of human society and you will realise all the areas that Ghana is better |
