Pidgin2: Haha haha this is funny. Look at these creatures talking about Nigeria in a condescending way? To hell with your Ghanaian cedis of what benefit will your visit be to Nigeria 3 Nigerian states combined are bigger than your entire country and we have 36 states so Ghana is like an insect to an eagle. Get lost I told you The word big is being wrongly used Nigeria is only three time bigger than Ghana. Your teacher really had a hard time |

360command: amigo, I understand you. I have gone places.. I studied across nigeria, so as my brothers and sisters. I have friends who we met in hostels, boarding house but it seems "the nigerian factor" is the same everywhere only selected few places as everyone explain their story.
I have been to villages in other African countries. Those villages don't contribute much to the economy but the rate at which they have 20-22 hrs of light daily shocks me. Even the city I live in Lagos; the mighty lagos, the Lagos that can buy ghana as people will boast gives me 15-18hrs of electricity on a good day...
I am from a state where oil is, my village has not seen light for 2 years plus.. And the is the same nairaland that people will shout, 9ja get money, 9ja get oil, our oil go buy ghana... Agreed!
I am saying, as Nigerians and as nairalanders, drop egoism, what is the use of having it big when you cannot enjoy it.. For you to enjoy it, you need more money.. But there are places where they used cocoa to achieve where they are and they are happy.. This people don't talk too much... The Nigerian people here need to understand that We mean them good and we seriously want them to deal with their issues. When we look West North and East, there's nowhere we can visit for leisure. Our only options are South Africa Namibia Botswana Kenya Ethiopia and Tanzania. We also want the opportunity to tour a country closer to us that we can always visit to spend our weekend just like you guys have Ghana that is alway there for you to visit. Unfortunately we Ghanaians, we dont We have to go all the way to SA when ever we decide not to stay in Ghana for the holidays. Get your shit together Nigeria |

If you really want to help in my accused 'obsession' why don't you try leaving Nairaland? you can't try to stop putting up stupid comparisms like this cus we're not mates Advice your nationals |

Y'all need to get a life of your own. now let see who is obsessing There's not a single day in Nigeria that you guys don't mention Ghana When your lights go off for weeks, you mention Ghana When you can't find water, you mention Ghana Every day, your house representatives compare themselves to Ghana |

Nicheey: I hate to intrude ,but brother Nigeria has more MW compare to Ghana ,200+ million can't be compare to 28(less)million
in terms of military might Nigeria has an edge over the entire west Africa ,our navy patrol your waters ,Nss thunder her her sister unity ,last year passed through Ghanian waters unprovoked ,you know your vessel won't even near Nigeria shores before its told to turn back and shot down if the vessel sail ahead
in terms of economic, Nigeria controls 65 percent of Ghana's economic ,(dangote ,UBA,GTB,Honeywell ,just to mention few )
in terms of telecoms ,Too is the leading network in Ghana
In terms of infrastructures, can't compare ogun or Enugu with Accra ,Accra is like a slum when compare to the two States I mention, talk more of comparing Accra with Lagos or the federal Capital territory
In terms entertainment ,Nollywood runs your house hold,Songs from Mr eazi ,olamide ,wizkid ,davido (just to mention few)blast everywhere in Accra
talking about water ,if only you have beeen to Nigeria you'd have know we waste water like scatter here ,in my place of resident (private compound) we have a borehole drilled directly to the ocean ,so water no be problem
talking about food ,It's far cheap ,100 naira will get you 10 balls of akara with 70naira bread ,every thing 170,And trust me ,u no yo fit finish am self
so bit#ch be humble, you need us more than we need u now I'm laughing Do you really have brains in your head? Now let me state facts for you Ghana has an installed capacity of 4700MW and by the end of the year, 1000mw will be added Ghana Navy and Air traffic control controls the entire stretch of the gulf and airspace from Ghana to Benin You don't know what international waters are You navy seeks permission before it enter the territorial waters of The gulf that Ghana patrols. This one is a certified mumu Fire burn your mouth Don't ever stand anywhere to make that ignorant comment Nigeria does not even control 40% of it own economy for it to control anothe. We are not afraid of competition so we allow everyone to compete You can even live in a village in Ghana and succeed. Nigeria does not have access to even one % of the Ghanaian economy, so shut it Another fact Both Abuja and Lagos are slums compare to Accra Guy bread in Ghana is supper exotic Not those dry bread you sell in Nigeria We don't have any need for Nigeria that's why we dont do much business with it. The fact is ,your country need Ghana more That's why your NNPC is all over my government begging so that we dont drop their gas uplift. We have decided to take our gas from Equitorial Guinea Now you can continue flaring your gas like you used to before we build the West African Gas pipeline |

londoner: So Ivory Coast and Senegal you view as dysfunctional too? Just because Ghana as a country has never really been tested it does not mean you should be arrogant.
If you ask me the very fact that you don't have the numerous hurdles that some of your neighbouring countries have had to scale means you should really be doing much better than you are as a country. We have scale over far worse We did pour time and had the discussions on which way to take. My dysfunctional comment was specifically referring to Nigeria |

AustineE1: sorry to rein in your parade,i dont know if you guys in ghana do elementary economics in school. A country with low per capita income and yet prices of goods and services are on the high. It simply shows one thing, that the economy is dysfunctional.Over the years Ghana has been suffering from monetary inflation, reason why the currency is constantly been devalued by the central bank of Ghana. Remember the last time Ghana had to re-denominate there worthless currency by taking away 2digits(zeros) from there currency. You equated your dysfunctional economy with USA and South Africa, without considering there relatively high per capita income. ...in the streets of Ghana, people constantly protest about the rising cost of living and are encourage to eat cheap pkanke(not so sure of the spelling),then cool off there anger by listening to musics by wizkid, phyno, davido,Psquare,Olamide,Flavour and sometimes sarkodie, before i forget the endless stream of nollywood movies courtesy of your Big brother Nigeria. Cheers! This one is thinking of dystopian society A perfect description of Nigeria |

bkool7: Whch basic amenities do they have in Ghana that we dont have here , apart from power- which we sell them?
When it comes to healthcare and education, you can have the best in Nigeria, but you better be wealthy so the entire Nigeria only have 2 radiotherapy machines and only one is functioning When only a single hospital in Ghana has 3 times that. Why do you Nigerians always want to compare your country to Ghana? We are not mates remember ? Even secondary schools in Ghana are better than your universities |
Politics › Re: Nigeria Is 79% Cheaper Than Ghana by Just30: 8:09am On Dec 02, 2017 |
Yyeske: All the vehicles you use in Ghana as a whole is less than those on the streets of Lagos alone, lazy people and that's why we are pushing you guys out of business even in your domain in Ghana. Can Ghanaians try that in Nigeria without being crushed out? Admit it that you can never rub shoulders with Nigeria, you can try maybe with Rivers or Anambra state but never Lagos and never Nigeria. how do you rub shoulders with a country vellow your standard . Countries we're looking to rub shoulders with are in Asia We started with them at the same level |
Politics › Re: Nigeria Is 79% Cheaper Than Ghana by Just30: 8:07am On Dec 02, 2017 |
Yyeske: Ghana's GDP is lower than that of Lagos, you can google that. Nigerians in Ghana are only taking over their economy there simply because Ghanaians are lazy and can't see opportunities even staring at them, Nigerians are not slackers and you know that. We even help them yearly with over $1billion injected into their economy from Nigerian students who study there and they don't appreciate. you should appreciate the education we give tour students so cheaply |
