vankelvin: Waste no time on that junky guy, there's no correlation in his comments. He just says anything that comes to his mind without thinking through it.
Such an aimless refugee
I want to make him wish that he attended school when he was growing up
POKUASI2: the jobless internet fraudster is shaking cos he knows about to expose him big time on this space.. how can you use your company name to get me visa when many Ghanaians are doing on the desert. Just tell me how. I go expose.. gyimifor
noisy rant from a kiosk dweller If you had good education, I could have helped you with this part of your visa application so you could make something good of yourself. But you refused to attend school in Nigeria hence why you're hawking dog chains around circle.
POKUASI2: are they place I mentioned in Adabraka or not. You're the one defending Accra, right. Do you have the places I mentioned in Adabraka or not. So name one iconic landmark you saw in the video confirming that's Adabraka. You see how low most you can go to deceiving internet users.. fraudulent Ghanaians!!
some are and others are not.
Go and watch the video and tell me if it look like a slum to you Do you know ECP, do you know the Cathedral, do you know the international vaccine center or the Adabraka polyclinic? They are all in the video.. Seem how you're surprise that it is organised and beautiful
POKUASI2: engineer issuing visa? Fraud of a jobless guy who is probably an internet fraudster engaged in romance scam.. where is your office located in Accra so I can come confirm tomorrow with pictures here.. please what engineer spends the amount of time you do here working under presumably a white man. In ghana, that is not possible. Engineer with no supervisors? You're a big fraud.
you first question even shows that you're not educated. You can't simply read and understand. I don't work in Ghana, boy. When I do, it is mostly an assistance to either VRA or Tema harbour or a full contract awarded to my personal company.
I said, come so I can help you with my company details to get a US visa.
POKUASI2: You and that guy are thieves.. ok, you claimed you know Accra right.. So name any place in that vidoe.. from Franko trading area/crystal tv to Roxy cinema to NdC office to former citidia/ melcom building to Citifm/ Adabraka police station to GCB building at BTC circle? Criminals. Name landmarks
POKUASI2: company detail?? Hahahaha.. you must be a cleaner or security at the company. Dude you're working for no company cos there's no way in the world you'll work for a profit making organization and spend your entire life on nairaland. You're a jobless internet troll
unfortunately I'm an Engineer an I have a good amount of time while working. I just Switched over from BSM of Germany to Carnival Cruise in the US. My services are sort after by big companies.
Come let me help you get a visa to the US, so you can better your miserable life and be a bit happy. Come with a good degree.
POKUASI2: hahahaha.. loud mouth simpleton is silenced for good.. You don't even know what to type again.. jobless ORANGUTAN that spends his entire existence on Nairaland. Go get a real job my guy. Only God knows how skinny you'd look.
Now you are throwing tantrums
See this hawker who runner from his country to come and seek better life here, only to end up lodging in kiosks calling me jobless
Wonders shall really never end ... Poor wan*ker
Come, let me use my company details to get you a US visa. Hope you have a good degree?
POKUASI2: Are you telling me the story of your life cos it's extremely hard for most of you Ghanaians to live a good life in your country. I swear to God that you're living a very misery, low budget life cos one can see from what you type that you have low self esteem occasioned by the fact that growing up was extremely hard for you and still is. A Ghanaian who grown up eating atleast twice daily have more confidence than you. And I know you're not willing to change anything about yourself and misery family cos no product person that want to change his and family fortune spends the amount of time you waste on nairaland here arguing about nothing
POKUASI2: SHATTA WALE say Accra is a village and those of us that know every part of Accra know he isn't telling lies. The entire Adabraka is littered with old colonial structures and a very MASSIVE SLUM around Sahara.. 99.1 percent of Tema is ghetto
Shatta wale is your role model hence why you're a villager who is having it hard in life.
This is Adabraka, a well planned and we'll developed place. Built in 1880s
POKUASI2: pls tell your parents to bring you home to smell the coffee call ghana in its truest form or I'm wasted my time on a guy who in probably commenting nonsense here from a village.. I doubt you even know Accra
I'm home and I'm my own man, so why will I need my parent?
I said, work hard and get out of the kiosk you're living in so you can enjoy life. Get out there and give yourself a chance in life so you don't continue being bitter. Enter a good restaurant and get some good food and drinks and have a plan for your life away from petty trading.
POKUASI2: probably one of those REFUGEES IN NIGERIA whose parents have refused to take back to ghana because "THERE'S NOTHING IN GHANA" like the ones that have been in my village in IMO STATE before I was born and are still there till tomorrow. Truth is, 90 percent of Accra is a SLUM and posting vidoes of selected nice neighborhoods that probably have white, none Ghanaians as inhalants wouldn't change that the fact the Accra, white colonizers built and handed to you guys have been mismanaged and turned into A SLUM.. And which Nigerian family in their right Frame of mind would leave Nigeria where davido, wizkid, burna boy etc are buying houses everyday to move to ghana when Ghanaians are running away from their own country.. the Ghanaian rapper ASEM is doing cleaning job in the US right now after running away from the extreme hunger in Ghana.. Promzy of VIP left Ghana to the US —probably doing shoe shine job there and these are just a few names
POKUASI2: He quickly pulled vidoe of 0.0001 percent of this Tema that's a well known ghetto in the Greater Accra.. there are hundreds of vidoes showing the different ghettos in this Tema. The people that live in different communities of this same Tema say it's a ghetto
which Tema is this fool taking? The 26 communities Well planned Tema or some ghetto in your country? Even the low income community 1 and 2 ain't ghettos. You will be lucky to live there.
Work hard so you can afford good places to live instead of the kiosk you're in
POKUASI2: yes, imagine a Ghanaian teaching me about paragraphing or whatever he chose to called it.. dude go teach your compatriots who neither can read nor understand what they read how to "paragraph" bcs I think they need it more than me. So why are your tree jumping brothers mad at African tigress for showing very nicer parts of Accra. Aside airport city, sankara, Kanda, some parts of Legon, some parts of Dwouwolu (which she actually showed) some parts of Ridge, which other part of Accra is worth being on camera.
rvp2018: Your tax collection outside mineral is 5B or about - about twice Rwanda - with oil and gold - it goes to about 10B. Then your borrow annually about 7B to make budget of 17B. It's hard to have adult conservation with a mad cow like you.
16 billion in tax, while revenue from gold and oil goes into their separate funds.
Samboro's blog is not a WB source, it's the STAR magazine. I thought you'll be a little bit intelligent to come up with the original document stating those figures.
Now, drop the screenshot of WB main doc stating the 40% poverty figure for Kenya and shy away from the noise.
rvp2018: The same informal sector can be formalized. Formalized mean if it's hawking - they need to be registered - it's need to be orderly - probably organized into cooperatives - wearing uniforms - it need to respect the right of business owners - you dont just come and set up infront of someone else job - who is paying taxes. They can also agree with shop owners on time to operate - maybe from 5 pm - when they close shop - they come and set up in the streets.
Otherwise you gotta Ghana like situation with formal sector totally non-existent - and cities look like cattle kraals.
are they school children to be wearing uniforms?
People who have their own businesses and their petty shops or kiosks are empowered with business loans to expand by acquiring more goods or acquiring bigger shops to expand their trade.
This is how come, market women have become very rich to even enter into real estate and taking their kids to ivy league schools. It is also part of the reason why our poverty levels are low and our slum dwellers are very low.
I want to see this kind of progress in Kenya. So that Kenyan girls don't keep dreaming of marry Europeans before they can get out of poverty.
We have a good 16 billion dollars tax collection excluding minerals whose income goes into their own funds. Despite the fact that you guys almost have twice our population, your tax collection is below ours.
rvp2018: Informal sector can never create any real wealth - it's create floating middle class - that is one COVID away poverty. This is what is happening in Kenya and many countries now. Real wealth will start when we transition the economy from informal to formal - so incomes are more predictable. Why would owned operated transporter belong to labour union - who is their employer? Will they ask the commuters to raise their money or you mean the transport conductors/drivers? As always you made tortured arguments like a mad man.
Yes they can
People create sustainable businesses out of it and build house and own cars out of it.
That's is good wealth.
Maybe l, when your govt starts helping Kenyans instead of Indian monopolies, you will finally seen Kenyans rising out of extreme poverty and finding homes instead of being homeless or having dreams to marry Europeans.
rvp2018: I checked Masloc loan - it's a joke - less than 10M dollars annually - big joke
20 million dollars is huge money for petty traders who take it to expand their businesses.
For medium scale businesses, they are being offered between 10,000 dollars to 2 million dollars to purchase machinery from a 20 billion dollars fund to expand their businesses for export.
Can Kenya do same for it massive informal traders and reduces the chaos and mess, all over Kenya and also reduce the 40% extreme poverty ?
rvp2018: Tortured arguments. In kenya informal business are slowly giving way to formal.
Informal retail and wholesales -Kiosks - giving way to supermarkets and malls. Now Kenya is second to South Africa in formalizing retails - Naivas just opened their 85th supermarkets.
Informal transport - Matatus or Trotros in kenya have been formaized into Saccos. Ever Matatu in kenya must belong to SACCO, driver and conductor must wear their badge, and their uniform
We now have problem with Okadas/boda-bodas/motorcyles - that we need to tackle.
Ultimately progressive countries should find a balance - Rwanda has gone to extreme of almost making informal business illegal - Ghana is total chaos with every little space invaded by street vendors.
if that was happening... Your poverty levels wouldn't have increased..
Stop making useless excuses and actually solve your problems. One thing must affect another positively.
Your poverty levels are increasing because more and more Kenyans are being driven out of competition by monopolies from India who employ very little and pay them peanuts
Here, all transport operators are part of labour unions who advocate for their well being and make massive money.
Unlike the mess that your matatus create in Kenya, here trotros are more organized.
popizaino: I think have watched some videos of kampala and I can tell you there is a bit of decency in some areas unlike Accra everywhere is chaotic with street hawkers, containers, kiosks, food vendors except in an area which is like 2% of the whole city. It just so messy here.
You like to lie oo
Apart from Circle and Kaneshie, which part of Accra can you call Chaotic?
Why do you think more and more Nigerians are leaving the Chaos of Nigeria with their families to settle in Accra (since you want to compare every town in Nigeria to Neighborhoods in Accra)?
