Shma: Wow! Interesting. I didn't know a dwarf country has more billionaires than Kenya.
Africa’s ‘Big 5’ wealth markets are South Africa, Egypt, Nigeria, Morocco, and Kenya. Mauritians are the wealthiest individuals in Africa, followed by South Africans, based on wealth per capita. deflection as usual |

GeneralDae: Nigeria Exits International Maritime Bureau's Piracy List As Sao Tome, Others Now Lead
Sao Tome and Principe, Gabon , Benin and four other African countries led the sailors kidnap chart of the International Maritime Bureau, IMB, in 2021, an indication that Nigeria may have eliminated the menace of piracy in its waters.
In the latest IMB report, a total of 15 crewmen were kidnapped 98 Nautical Miles in Sao Tome Islands on the 23rd of January 2021 as against another 15 sailors Gabon on the eight of February and on the 11th of March, 10 crew members were kidnapped in Benin Republic.
Coming in third position is Equatorial Guinea with a total of six kidnapped crewmembers from a container vessel while a second attack on fishing vessel also took place in Benin on the 31st of May and six crewmen were also kidnapped in the process.
A breakdown of the figure shows that a total of three fishing vessels, two container vessels and a chemical tanker were also attacked.
Nigeria recorded no kidnapping incidents in 2021 with the total number of incidents in its waters dropping more than 80 per cent compared to 2020.
Luanda Anchorage, Angola, and Conakry Anchorage, Guinea, featured in the IMB Piracy Reporting Centre (PRC) list of "Ports and anchorages with three or more reported incidents in 2021".
That trend may be continuing into 2022 as the IMB PRC reported three armed robbery incidents from Luanda Anchorage during the first six weeks of 2022.

popizaino: Kumasi old towns are far better than Accra older towns, what those batama, Ashtown, Anloga junction asafo, Asawase all need is to repaint their buildings, change those rusted iron roofing sheets and reduce the excessive containers and kiosks littered everywhere. they've already repainted most of those buildings |

NTSA: Taxis are not categorized as public transport they mostly serve door to door . There are also residential areas Kenya with paved walkways but that doesn't mean all residential areas have walkways. Am only here to refute your absurd claims about Nairobi. taxi in every part of the world is classified as public transport and it includes Uber and the rest. picture comes from the US and not Kenya Don't be desperate |
Politics › Re: Kenyans Are Far Behind Nigerians In Every Aspect – Fani-Kayode by Just40: 9:56am On Mar 10, 2022 |
NTSA: In a place like Karen there are is no public transport let alone human traffic there are just residential houses whereby you rarely even see you neighbours in months so the taxis that pass there are not public transport? The Dzorwulu neighborhood that I was in, over the past two days and too the pictures I took, you can walk for 30 minutes on the walkways and not find anyone else walking or drive for 10 minutes and only find one or 2 people walking on the walkways. Yet the walkways are still provided and being extended to places that don't have. |

NTSA: Maybe you should first understand that the amount of human and vehicular traffic ,informs the need for pedestrian walkways .The city center has more vehicular and human traffic thus need for pedestrian walkways. useless excuse |

Does Accra have millionnaires?
And my friend, if I dedicate my time to bombard you with world-class pedestrian lanes, you'll run away never to be seen Accra has several billionaires and millionaires. Infact it has the highest rate of growth in millionaires on the continent... We all know Nairobi drians are unconverted and pedestrian lanes are none existent even in Ka*ren livington and co |

mdntiri: Jay walking not jail walking. And it doesn't mean not walking in the location at all. It means not crossing the road anyhow, example crossing the road anyhow near a zebra crossing instead of using it. People can walk in the locations you mentioned, and the narrow streets NEED sidewalks it's basically not walking at all I've seen certain neighborhood street walks that have been removed to prevent people from walking through them and rather redirected pedestrain traffic around the community. Certain neighborhood just don't want all kind of characters using their neighborhood...example AU village and Adabraka ...where they've remove the sidewalks in the acres but the roads around the acres have side walks. The streets are wide enough for 3 cars, so obviously it's not narrow. Not all streets need to have side walks |

mdntiri: Walking is not permitted in certain parts? Me what I always say is already built-up areas like these with narrow streets, no sidewalks etc, if people's fence walls etc have to be broken to make way for sidewalks, if even on only one side of the street, so be it. The beauty, order, convenience, ease of commute etc that sidewalks bring to a space would be very beneficial
When you look at many of our Kumasi suburbs with their narrow streets and no sidewalks for example, no matter the edifices/good quality roads in these areas, I still find them lacking in true beauty yeah, there are areas where jail walking ain't allowed and it's a good thing. I've come across them even in London and New York |

Kuruptnigga: No side work. Open gutter? The gutter should be covered! They shouldn’t build accra like nairoslum. Just I like Abuja. Every gutter is covered. They are all covered Accra does not want to be a shithole like Nairobi, so last 2 years, it started covering the gutters on it streets that had open gutters. As well as providing pavement for streets that needed pavement for pedestrians but didn't have.

mdntiri: Where are the sidewalks? The street lights? The gutter should be covered, THEN the beauty of the place would be complete. the gutters are covered for most parts and walking is not permitted in the area apart from on the outer ring roads which has pedestrian lanes provided. It's an exclusive neighborhood. As you can see here... Apart from the front of certain house with tiny and shallow colonial era drains that do not need covering.. all the drains are covered with sideways for pedestrian.

mdntiri: I disagree just40. When the Tema Accra line was relaunched did you not see the heavy patronage? Traders alone would heavily patronise the line and make it profitable. As time goes on we can create modern car parks, improve access routes to the train stations, improve security at the car parks, improve the ticketing system, reserve dedicated comfortable cabins for workers, lessen the Accra-Tema commute etc etc, and you'd see workers clamouring to join the train. So your preposition us ... We shouldn't expand the Motorway with the half a billion dollars that we have but rather use it to improve the train service? Because we can only do one of those at a time. |
