I have checked my inbox, sent, spam, junk, archive, draft nothing. Please what do I do? The days of travel is drawing near

It's a technical error from there side . If that pending process is over 24hrs, and they did not debit your card, cancel that application immediately and initiate a new one.

This time around, look for a different card, or get someone from the UK to pay for u.

Once there is a network glitch, u have issues like this. Stop waiting, it's an automated process, the payment is supposed to go tru straight.

Thanks for your response sir.
1) My salary is always transferred from the company account into my account.
2) I submitted 6 months statement of account
3) I Submitted my letter of employment.
4) I don't understand what you mean

There are three different types of employment letter.

1. The letter of employment offer, the one saying you have been given the job.

2. Contract of employment, the one stating the conditions and terms of your employment and all your packages..... This letter carries the biggest weight, because some of info on your payslip is generated from this doc.

3. Letter of introduction from the company, introducing you to the ECO.

4. Leave letter, stating you have been granted a specific period to travel.

5. Salary increase letter, according to the ECO, you claim to have started work since 2017, I bet the company didn't start you up straight with 250k, you would have gotten a salary increase within the space of two years.

6. If they check, and your company is not registered or its license with the cac has expired, then another issue.

It is not about just complaining, you need to make sure that all your side is tight, or else, once they see u not tight enough, they will ignore

Regards

Good evening. Please how did you write your complaint. Please can you give me the link or the email you sent the complain to. Thanks. My visa was refused today. Please find the attached refusal letter. I submitted my employment letter, payslips, bank statement which shows my salary and introduction letter from the company.

1. Was your monthly income deposited directly into your salary account by your company?.... Is the company name reflecting on your statement of account

2. How many month bank statement did u submit

3. Did you submit your contract of employment offer?

4. What kind of employment letter did you submit?

I thank everyone on this great platform, respect to you all, especially @justwise, though we had some rough patch, but I must comend your effort and contributions.

Let me quickly add that, though I did not pay any lawyer to have this refusal over turned, but I actually paid for information and base on trust, I never regreted doing so, cause information is power.

And I will also mention that, there is review and once you have a solid case and you can prove it, they always over turn their decesion, because the home office know cases that can get to court and they will lose, they don't try it, cause in judicial review, the loser actually pays the winner.

Thanks for your quick response
Please read people here saying they upload their documents, I was thinking you will submit all the supporting documents when you go for biometric .
Or you can upload or submit the documents?

There are two options now, self service or assisted service, the first one you upload your self, the second one you take your supporting doc. to VAC to scan for 10k. You must go with your atm, as cash not allowed

I am not familiar with the self upload, maybe users with experience will help you out.

please am here again o @justwise @justblow i want to submit 2 bank account statement
but i want to give outline on the Big lodgement inside one account which have good balance on it
am already doing the outline and it taking about a page
is it ok to leave out the second account since have demonstrated on how lodgement use to come in my account cause doing the second account might takes another 1 page or 2. please advise all

The more analysis you make, the better your chances of getting the visa. If you may know, I submitted one extra page of page six of my check list, I have to make a copy, because of the amount of supporting documents I included with my application.

So go ahead and explain all. It is never too much.

@justwise @justblow Please how much is safe to carry in cash for someone traveling to london for 2weeks visit,uk sponsor is taking care of accommodation and feeding.

If ur trip is hotel base, u must carry at least half of your spending money in cash and the rest maybe on your atm. If you using a host, or an invitee, surely the person is waiting for you, all you need do is carry like £100.

Let's look out for more practical experience, because the last time I traveled, since I have a host, they only ask her address and if she is at the airport to pick me.

I gave them the address and said sure she will be picking me. And what ever you do, pls go with 20p, 50p, u may surely need those coins to make call if your host ain't on time.

No call was put to my invitee and no call was put to my office i just received a mail that decision has been made, my queetion is does that means refused ? Have anyone experience such....thanks

They hardly call work place, because they know work can be organized at all levels. But your host, they do call to affrim relationship.

But mind you, not in all cases, some application gets straight visa without any call. Just keep your fingers crossed. U can't know till you receive your passport, expect they send a refusal letter via email.

I want to apply soon and I don't like the reading (opening acct)of my statement in first month ,so I want to remove the first month and start from second month ,and that will be 5 mths or I wail to run the acct for another one mth before applying .thanks

I have read here on this platform that u can even use three months statement, don't know how true.

I will strongly suggest you run it for one extra month to be on the safe side because some ECO after seeing how water tight your application is, may use that as a ground for refusal.

Just my opinion

Thanks alot God bless you. She said her son is travelling with an adult who is not one of his parents.

That is trafficking, if she is not careful, UK BORDER FORCE AGENCY may track them on arrival...

Just simple eye contact and simply question will give them away... This guy's are trained to detect such.

Moreover, the trafficker is documented... She needs to be very careful...

Good day All,

I have tried to look for the answer to this question to no avail on the internet.

i will be travelling for an exam on the 16th of November to return on the 4th of December. My visa will expire on the 19th of November.

I want to start the process now to apply for my visa. I believe they will cancel this one and issue another one.

Is there any rule regarding when i should apply since the current visa is still valid?

I don't want any form of tension at all, hence my decision to apply this week.

Any advice in this regard will be appreciated.

Your new travel date is 16, old visa expires 19, 3days in between, go ahead and apply now. It is the best thing to do.

Hello Justwise Justice and all the other gurus,if UKVI calls your sponsors and they nada a mistake as to d date of your purported stay in the UK,does this mean outright refusal?

The ECO will ask series of questions, not one question.
All questions comes from your application form.

Your host getting one wrong out of series of questions shouldn't be a refusal... Have ur mind at rest, you getting it.

I don’t really understand what you're saying. The biometrics was done in Lagos. And looking at the timelines here majority of people receive their passport within a day or two after decision is made. However I’ve been waiting for almost a week. And I was wondering if that has to do with outcomes or workload at the hub

Sorry to hear this, spouse visa application are actually handled @ Sheffield. Once you wait a week and no message, then I will advise you call them or mail them.

Disposable income is what am asking, but from your last post, u ve made it clear that you are self employed.

Since you are self employed, the question now is do u have a fix salary for yourself which is reflecting on your statement of account?

The cover letter I drafted is about 3pages. This is required to explain some incentives and Bonuses paid by my employer at some certain time.

My question is, is 3pages too much as a cover letter?

Use a table to explain all your financial transactions, it's shows accuracy. Then your CL. can be reduced to two pages. I submitted two pages...

Please All do i need to Explain all the Big Lodgement in my account am planning on submitting 2 accounts and for the 6 months i have many Lodgement cause am using my account for my business Please do i need to explain all?

Create a table, transaction date credit side with purpose in front, debit side with purpose in front.

All transactions from 50k up must appear on that table.
