It reeks of ignorance. The topic of this thread is 'Graduates of Sociology' (the COURSE!) How exactly does that rope in a graduate of Physics, Bio-Chem, Mathematics, Elect-Elect, etc? Every Course is a conceptual study of Matter and Society... does that make them 'Graduates of SOCIOLOGY'?!

Sociology is officially the most useless course on Earth! I advice my students to rewrite JAMB the next year if they are offered courses like Sociology, Philosophy, etc with no chance to cross to a more meaningful course in 200l.

You can work in a Social Welfare/work setting.

If you intend going for your Msc

Try Masters in Adult Education specialized in Social Welfare (Academics) or Masters of Social Work (Professional)

I was thinking in criminology (academics)

And please which university is advisable terms of employment after the program

I just thought because I got my BSC there

Am a student of sociology but because of the situation of the country and because sociology isn't really looked at in nigeria, I was thinking about applying for MSC the same school in other to get a lecturing job there .
