Please come out and show where the Bishop called for coup or insulted the north or even stirred your favorite weapon of crisis in the north.

You guys were calling the Bishop all manner of derogatory names, now who is the fool?

One of you was even doubting my religion and morality because I agreed with the Bishop; in the new religion of politics where Buhari is the god, nobody can say truth unless he is PDP else the paid foot soldiers on social media will be mobilised to attack like senseless rabied dogs of war.
Unfortunately, some MODs on Nairaland are towing the same line by hiding and deleting posts from people whose position they disagree with on issues.

I insist that although being of northern extraction, we must have the courage of telling ourselves the truth no matter what the consequences in order for our country and our region to be improved and developed to its full potential.

If we don't have such clerics as Kukah, the Sultan, Sheik Assadus Sunna, Sheik Albany Gombe and other sincere preachers to tell truth to power, then our lives, our religion, or region will be destroyed by useless policies, corruption, injustice, poverty, disease and terrorism.
One of the core causes of insecurity in the north is simple political economy where the northern elites have created a system where only their children have access to the good things of life and hope for a good future while the majority are left uneduacted and poor. Now this cheated majority have discovered crime of terrorism, banditry, kidnap and ritual murders as a viable means of upward social mobility... and we are all crying about insecurity when these people are simply adopting the only viable option for them to survive.
Unless my fellow Northerners see this problem for what it is and address it with honesty, then we a in for a long thing!
If you see how your otherwise dull and untalented age mates who are children of the elites become billionaires over night without inventing anything or adding any value to society, then you need a godly contentment to accept your paltry lot in life due to your honest hard work.
I have since ditched the elitist thinking of the northern majority and I am willing to fight for the good honest people of my region.
Nepotism and giving go vernment positions to incompetent political cronies from the north is not what will help the north instead it is raising the genii index and crime and insecurity is simply blossoming unchecked.
The Bishop was right and we the leaders need to hear the truth that we dont like.
As for Lai Mohammed, although a close friend to my uncle, I want to say, sir, your reputation for nonsensical propaganda is laughable and unfortunate.

Just for your information politics and issues of leadership directly affects the congregations led by religious leaders wether you like it or not. It is their moral and divine duties to cater for the spiritual and physical welfare of the ummah.

So your problem should be [why most Muslim clerics that were vocal in the past about justice and governance now suddenly become deaf, dumb and blind to the injustices and mis-governance under Buhari. Especially, the issues of nepotism and insecurity raised by Bishop Kukah.

Being interested in the welfare of your country and its people is beyond politics is beyond politics but a fundamental injunction by God.

So stop with the hypocrisy about Kukah being partisan, he simply said the truth which is expected from all religious leaders and has been their roles since the time of the prophets to correct leaders and remind them to rule with fairness, justice and fear of God.

Kukah is a cleric of a different religion but he is a cleric all the same and the last time I checked, Christianity and Islam both have the same roots but different beliefs in the prophecy of Mohammed (pbuh) and Isah(pbuh). So he should also say the truth and correct the leadership to fear God especially now that our own clerics have refused to stand on the side of God and his people.

Check with your employer.
If they deduct up to 14k monthly for pension then you monthly contribution should be at least 14k+14k=28k multiplied by the number of months you have worked.
Your employer is supposed to contribute at least 50% of your monthly contribution while you contribute the other 50%.

This statemment is disrespectful and an insult to the people in the north who voted and defended their votes for the president. Your statement simply implies that they are idiots that continue to support the president even when they are killed and subjected to untold suffering and poverty by the policies of the man they voted.
Mark you, Buhari is not a divine being. He is a common human with weaknesses like evryone else. infact, he has demonstrated some wickedness and betrayal by not standing up to defend the masses against the killings and suffering they are beiing subjected to.
He made promises to the people and refused to fulfill them. He instead brought in some evil policies that have multiplied the sufferings of the poor.
Food is now beyond the poor to afford.
Yet, he lives in splendor and affluence of the presidency. He has not done anything about the health needs of the poor but he lied that he will fix hospitals and will not go for foriegn treatments. He could go for his treatment but the poor man should have atleast some semblance of good health care as he promised them.
You can continue on your elitist argument but you know that Buhari has not reciprocated the love that was shown to him by the masses. Instead, he subjected them to hunger and corruption continues to thrive under his leadership.

As for intelligence to decipher what the Bishop said, I will conclude you are the one who lacks it or who intentionally is side-stepping the points made because you don't like the source of the truth.
About tolerance, were you not the one saying there will be crisis due to what the Bishop said? Is violence and threat of crisis a depiction of tolerance?
Farin jini is not stupidity and true love tells the truth. That is why I pointed earlier that it is hypocritic love to continue decieving a leader without telling him when things are wrong on the pretext that you love him or according to you, he has a so called 'Farin Jini".
Nobody wants to undo Buhari as a president but only gullible idiots will keep quite when a leader is going wrong.

If you are not being clever by half, the whole point on which I agree with the Bishop is asking Buhari to correct the nepotism which will work against northerners in the future and on the issue of insecurity with which the president seems to clueless. You view things as people against Muslims and people supporting Muslims unfortunately, I see things in terms of what they objectively represent. like for example, wether you are a Muslim or not, especially if you are one, you should keep your promises but somehow even as a muslim, I don't think Buhari fulfilled his promises to me. Why should it cause crisis?
Well crisis is not new in the north and there is no type we have not experienced. The worst outcome of a 'crisis' is just death which every human must experience. So the truth cannot be avoided for fear of an old trick.
You see this consistent threat of violence by the Muslim north for everything they disagree with, is exactly what was addressed by the Bishop. Why is there no threat of 'crisis' when it is Muslims that say something non- Muslims disagree with?
The issue of BokoHaram and the Herdsmen fits into this narrative as it has been confirmed from very reliable sources that BH and the Fulani/ Tuareg militia that were used by Gaddafi in Lybia were recruited by northern interest groups to make Nigeria ungovernable in the event that Jonathan refused to hand over power. But Jonathan shocked everyone and handed over power peacefully. The northern groups reneged on their promise to pay the militia off that is why the so called 'fulani herdsmen' refused to leave Nigeria and are now reigning terror on the North.
So when you always threaten crisis and riot for anything you disagree with, bear in mind that your are only creating a monster that might come home to roost.
The Bishop is courageous enough to say what many northern Muslims are thinking but are afraid to say because somehow whoever disagrees with Buhari's misrule has committed some form of riddah and can now be seen as an infidel.
Just to remind you, when Jonathan was in power we in the north came out saying Jonathan through CAN is using BH to destabilize the north and kill northerners. Buhari himself said somethings along those lines.
If you read the Bishop's message which I did despite being from a different background from him, you will see that he is simply saying the truth that we northerners should have told Buhari and this government a long time ago.

You can even be correct if you say so because most of the military coups in Nigeria were by northern Muslims.
But you are deliberately avoiding the point he is making. If any other group tries what Buhari is doing - which reckless nepotism and promotion of incompetence- the north will not agree and there will certainly be a coup.
