No surprise Wizkhalifa made it to another worst dressed list, his look to the 58th grammys redcarpet was more of a fashion fail from a previous MET gala themed-party. We are yet to see Wiz get it right on the redcarpet (like Dj khaled did this year)

Ciara arrived the redcarpet looking like she just got out of a domestic fight with babydaddy, Future, and still (somehow) managed to have her hair and makeup in place. Ciara is a talented singer, an amazing dancer with a banging body but this outfit was a total fashion miss.

Justin Bieber looked all refined and grownup as he stepped the redcarpet. The 'sorry' singer wore a white blazer and had an entirely clean and dapper look. At this point, Justin can do no wrong, I may be a belieber once again!

Carrie underwood looked absolutely breathtaking at the 58th grammys redcarpet. In her strapless black Nicolas Jebran dress with a thigh-high slit, the star brought back some old hollywood glam with a modern twist. Sleek, elegant and sophistication are the words to describe the beautiful singer. She is my best dressed for the night.

The 58th annual Grammy awards red carpet, I thought this year was not that thrilling but some celebrities managed to pull through, here are my best and worst dressed stars.

1) You must be mentally ready and emotionally stable. If not, you have no business starting a relationship. You can decide to do something else…like learn a skill or pursue a course.

It’s the month of love again and while some are fostering in their relationship, some are getting out of it and some are just starting out. On the latter note, I have decided to share with you, 3 tips to note before starting a relationship.

Lime water is one of the best and cheapest ways to detoxify your body and burn stubborn fat. Too bad, for the fashion icon, golden globes veteran.

BEST DRESSED MALE- DAVID HASSELHOFF : Pour a bucket of gold paint on David Hasselhoff and you’d mistake him for one of the golden globe statues. At 63, this man is killing it, giving all of the other Hollywood gentlemen on the red-carpet a run for their money. See for yourselves.

The 73rd golden globe awards took place last night and as a fashion enthusiast, i must say the red-carpet was on fire! With so many fashion trends this season, each celebrity showed up with intention to make all camera flash-light fall on them.

While this is a tough decision to make (as most celebs dressed to kill) I’ll pick just one winner for my four (4) different categories.
So here’s a look at my best and worst dressed stars (male & female) from the prestigious event.

BEST DRESSED FEMALE- LADY GAGA: Lady gaga, when on her off “crazy duty” can really bring the demure and classy superstar look like it’s no one’s business, she steps on the red-carpet with a grace only attributed to goddesses and commands every attention. She was up for her first golden globes last night and showed up in this custom Versace black dress that speaks everything sophistication. I crown her best dressed female at the golden globes 2016!

So keep believing in yourself and in the beauty of your dreams and if you need a friend to smile to the bank with, just know that i am here for you.

Consistent practice and discipline is a keyword here. To be disciplined is to remember what it is you are fighting for. And yes, consistent practice and discipline in your craft inevitably means that some other things be forfeited (like sacrificing the time you would have spent with friends and family, and some other pleasurable moments)

Jim Rohn says, “there are two types of pain you will go through in life, the pain of discipline and the pain of regret…”.

The pain of discipline, no doubt, can be treacherous, especially when we have no idea when it is going to end but we keep forging ahead because we know we will have a good laugh, when at the end, all of the hard work pays off. Victory at-last!

Developing your craft is just as important as building your brand. You would want to be known for your craft. As you may already know, there aren’t much jobs out there these days and people have learnt to fall back to their skills for survival.

I must congratulate you, if by now you have already discovered your passion or talent and know what you stand for. You must now (and continuously) work relentlessly to build yourself to an enviable level (well, except your craft is legal, please don’t say you drew your inspiration from this article)

The one thing you must do on this path to greatness is to be disciplined. You know when in the movies, where (let’s say) a sportsman is getting ready for a final championship game and we see him get up very early, lace up his boots, jog across a long mile, by a sea, by a grassland, through a bridge. We see him go through several preparatory routines in the rain, under the moonlight, he keeps pushing and on game day, everything comes together to give him victory (if you’ve guessed that am talking about the new “creed” movie featuring Sylvester Stallone, you are not that far off)

Once after self-discovery comes self-development. The feeling of finding yourself and knowing what you stand for is just priceless but this is only the beginning of new journey.

Your craft is that which you are passionate about, that which you have a flair for, be it a pastime or a profession. it doesn’t necessarily mean that you have to build something with your hands but it does require some form of manual and/or intellectual skills. Its your God-given gift!

So does my craft have to earn me money? heck yes! Your craft should (sooner or later) earn you so some sort of reward- money, respect, love, recognition, whatever…

Speaking of food, what’s this hype about Nigerian jollof and its comparison with Ghanaian jollof rice? (anyone with vital information as to where i can try out Ghanaian jollof in lagos should please let me know)

I never really fancied attending weddings (probably because am not much of an “outty” person) the first wedding i attended was because it was compulsory- it was my sister’s wedding. I particularly like December weddings, i admire the dry and cool weather, the love in the air and all of the festivities that comes with the season and you don’t have to pray that rainy clouds be moved to someplace else other that the vicinity of your own wedding.

Fixing a wedding in this time of year can be tricky. For some who have sworn to get married in the current year, it’s more of a ”December or never” affair (atleast to show their “evil-exes” that they did not carryover) I say it’s best to pick the first Saturday so long it’s atleast five (5) working days after the last day of the previous month- November. This will ensure that your guests have been paid their salary in their places of work as this will determine the “spray-ability” of your guests (i know you know what i mean)

The second Saturday of the month is great also but except you plan on having a small number of guests, am not certain about the third or fourth as most people are concerned with the Christmas and new year’s celebration and a good number of your guests may have traveled for the holidays as well.

This year, the major wedding colour scheme have included cream, teal green and fuschia pink so it almost as if you didn’t need to bother about buying new clothes, just show up in what you wore at the last wedding.

This month, i attended several weddings, weekend back-to-back, i was exhausted and had to program myself into the Christmas spirit and into the festive mood, it took a lot of courage to set up the Christmas tree which i dumped in the store after last year’s celebration.

In this coming year, i look forward to attending a series of weddings and sharing in the joy of happily marrying couples and i hope to attend yours too…
