Hargreaves did not make the trip to Sporting. He is still nursing his thigh injury. Gary Neville was supposed to go along but a last minute setback to his recovery halted his come back plans.
But we gat Rooney back.

It should be a good game. Our attack is taking shape and with the ever solid presence of Scholes in the middle, we'll get the job done. .

I'm kinda worried with the scarcity of goals at United.
The Everton game was supposed to be a whitewash. We dominated the game and made lotta chances. . .But the goals did not come. Thanks to Vidic and his mad finish. . .

Chelsea's next. So happy we playin them next. They are also not at their best. Both teams would surely need to raise their game. . .
Rooney would be available for the game so it should give United some more options upfront. . .

You guys are actually saying Silvestre can cover for Evra? Not in this world I know that for sure. Silvestre is the weakest link in the whole United squad. .
Truth be told, if Silvestre is Evra's help, then Evra is alone. That guy cant do anything right.
The last match he played for United (I think against Lille), he didn't get one pass through correctly. He even gave away a throw in. as in he threw the ball to the opponent!!!!!!

He should go and build his confidence, his skills, his strenght, then he should come back to fight for a place, but he'll be too old by then. . .

Fergie must get someone in Januray. . .and I pray Evra would stay good till then. .

This is exactly why u need a pretty large squad to win any major trophy.
Injuries and fatigue cost us the UCL last season cos the same players played week in week out and even mid week. . .and of course, they got tried.

Now the matches are starting to come in torrents, . .We need all legs hands on deck.

My biggest concern now is the left back. Evra is the only player that does the job there. Heinze is gone and no replacement. . My fear is the fatigue issue if injury is played down. One man playing every single United game is suicidal. He is strong I know, but he is human.
EVRA NEEDS COVER. , pity is he cant get one till January at least. . .

and don't forget, we only spent 18 million on Carrick last season. . .so where is the margin for the losses and the impending bankruptcy?

Wes is not that bad. True he lacks confidence and his crosses are not deft, but he's been holding the forth since Gary took his knock. He is not United's worst player. Silvestre is. That guy is the worst player in the EPL. He pisses me off whenever he is with the ball.
Did u watch him against Lille on the return leg last season? He was just a complete retard on the field. Infact, I was kinda happy when he fractured his shoulder during the game. At least that would mean he would not play. . .

The title race is very open!!!

Arsenal is doing well now but I dont see them goin on the stretch. There's no strenght, no depth to carry them through the league and eventually win it.
Liverpool, with their recent displays and depth in the bench can go all the way but the typical Liverpool would mess it up at the end.
Chelsea too can do the stretch but would stumble at some point.
United is curently misfiring, and if that is anything to go by, the league title is not in view. . .

I dont see the winner getting to 90 points. . . Maybe 75 or 80 max cos a lot of points would be dropped against teams that were once pushovers. . .

The eventual winner would be the side with the biggest luck on its side. . .
