grin are you in the UK? Let me ask
And if yes are you a student?
Because I am in the UK and I am a student.

Like I said who wears the shoe knows where it's hurt.

Lots of school are sending students away due to economic hardship. From Scotland to England most had given February as last date else they withdraw your CAS.
Even before now lost are doing more than 20...still de collect pst As in many. Can you even pay your bills with 20?

Nigas weh de sell 2k monthly for school forums na 20 give them?
SO LIKE someone said this is public forum.. No be everything I go vomit or argue with u so rest.

Stop misleading people here, schools are sending them away for defaulting on their school fees and NOT because of economic hardship.

The only reason why i allowed some of the falsehoods/misinformation from you to be visible is so as others will counter and correct it. This is the end of it, Pls don't use this section to encourage the abuse of immigration system or intentionally spreading misinformation

I'm not a student. I'm working full time

If you earned more than £12,570 a year you will be taxed at 20%, that is any amount above £12,570. Your friends who are not paying tax will receive a letter from the tax-man by April to do so. If you over paid they will also send you a check to claim your over paid amount.

I'm being taxed since I started working in the UK while my other colleagues are not taxed. Please how do I go about claiming the tax back?

1. Are you a student?

2. Are you working 20hrs a week?

I suggest you inside the thread then lock it then link it with the newly created one. As long as there's valuable information on it, it should not be hidden entirely.

Noted.

I am now 5 years in Ireland. And this thread really helped me. It's really sad it has been removed.
😭. Please can we open a new thread. So we can help people who want to move.

Thanks!

Yes you can but on one condition...no advertisement

Having a poll to select the best moderator will never work. This is the best method.

Yes, it's true, I enjoyed the selection process back in the day when we had polls to select the best poster in each section. The best moderator was selected by a vote in the hidden moderator section and then the thread was made public for all to see.

Unfortunately there are many people that are on Nairaland just to cause trouble and these people usually have numerous accounts.

I remember what happened in 2009 when Becomrich was elected the politics section poster of the year, then the admin annulled the election (because Becomrich was a frequent rule breaker) and then he was reinstated and then then the election was cancelled again and then he was reinstated again.

I also remember what happened in 2012 when Chinua Achebe was voted into the Nairaland Politics Section Hall of Shame and then the election was cancelled and the moderators resigned.

The moderators were appointed by the admin and he gave them a target and instructions on what to do. He is the best person to decide who has met those targets and followed the instructions. If you have a poll, troublemakers will use their numerous accounts to vote for somebody that has done the opposite.

That is exactly the prob, they will use their numerous IDs to vote, Let me just remind these moaners that i was VOTED to become a mod and i have won the best mod before and it was through VOTE. The voting system stopped because of the multiple account issue because votes will not have any integrity.

So to the disgruntled..feel free to open a thread in general section to counter this or join the existing one started by one of you, criticise me, disagree with me or anyone, no worries.

Sounds like a good deal. Been looking for a cheap way to get phones from the US and sell here

... But ebay will want to collect their cut and that'll chop into the profit. Do you have another way this can be done?

🤔

You can try Facebook marketplace, yes i know that there are more scammers than genuine buyers but its winner takes all.

Ebay gives private sellers some sale promo every two weeks, so you take home more when you sale an item but if your profit goes above £1000 HRMC may get interested.

So you see my point? If I open another thread I might be banned for rule 18.

That thread is opposite this so why do you want to duplicate it? Did you actually read the content?

either positive or negative, seun should have conducted a poll. Stating his opinion isn't bad, but still, what's stopping me from opening another thread and say otherwise, after all, it's my opinion and no poll need be conducted, no? 🤷‍♂️

If Ṣeun opened a poll, Justwise will not come top 10 for many people, except for few people ass licking cos they probably ask him questions and he acts like superman responding.

I repeat, he seldom acts overzealously.

You fit dash boys

Btw, whats the resale scope?

grin

That will be done one day...

Regarding resale... last yr when S23 came out my mate helped me to buy 4 because his company has a partnership with Samsung and they get 15% discount, Adidas voucher worth £300 and cashback reward.

I pretty much trade-in all the old Samsung in the house for new ones, so i resale them but this yr the offer is not attractive at all so i bought only one.

If this will require us traveling to London for biometrics, we might as well just get a passport instead.

Yes but i think its quicker than passport and i think the embassy outsourced the service to another agent outside the embassy.

Its more expensive though
