My son is traveling to the UK today for his degree program, in Newcastle University, his flight is 3pm today, but the problem now is this. He has been trying to rent a hostel from the school since last week but they kept telling him that the hostel isn't ready yet, they asked when he would be coming and he told them today, but up till now we haven't gotten any response from the school. He's resuming his studies on the 19th, Monday. Now my worry and question is this, since he didn't have a hostel room or bed allocated to him yet, hope he won't have any issues with the immigration at the point of entry in the UK? He's leaving the house now for the airport. Please I need an urgent help from those who knows better . Thanks

Book a hotel in Newcastle close to his school for at least 5days to help him settle while sorting out the school accommodation.

You can also look at Airbnb option, yes its possible that immigration will ask such question at the POE
