BusinessMtn Fast Link For Sale! by justyn3x(op): 10:29pm On Sep 12, 2009
Really House, this thing does not satisfy my need for speedy connection in my area, BADAGRY.
Best service on the island, ikeja and mainland, hence I am willing to discount it to the most interested buyer.

So if you are interested, the price is 13K (Thirteen Thousand Naira only)

P.S

You know its 16k at the MTN shops.
You would have to choose your Connection group, 24hrs, day, night or daily.

Call me on 08038066467 for transaction interest only.
PLS NO MIDNIGHT CALLS.

wink

It’s funny you know, have you seen some of the reviews and shows by the D'Banj and friends crew? I wonder how so many girls throw themselves around the stage trying to get attention?

Hmmm, the sad part is that most girls like the stage but don't want to be in the show! So for the female folk, sorry you are being represented in bad light.

Also, it’s a sad thing that D'banj is being rubbished here; it’s a case of rotten eggs in a nice package.
By the way, it’s about time HiTv got their act s right, too many faulty starts will eventually end up in meltdown, cash crunch, revenue zilch, bankruptcy, did someone say that’s why DSTV sells better?

@ C.Cares,

Considering that one can make say 25k in the 3 months that you assumed, I guess one will not be buying via IPO?

Hence, I would appreciate a listing of the stockbroking firms you are presently dealing with. Mine, is always telling me stocks are hard to get on the secondary market.
CareerRe: Tony Elumelu Of UBA Graduated With Third Class? by justyn3x(m): 6:14am On Aug 14, 2007
@ Odozi

Thanks for coming to the rescue of Elumelu, most people like you said thrive on gossip, forgetting the substance of the real person. It's clear that he came out with 2.2 and a masters degree, but the substance is that he did not just earn "paper degree" he made use of it in his dealings, that's what we all should be doing. I would like to be related to such a man or woman, some how, I envy you. grin

This really caught my attention:
mathways:
I think some of you guys need to go read through the biography of Bill gates conscientiously. That guy is called a "drop out" just because he didn't graduate from college after enrolling. But the chap was a math prodigy in high school. The guy's highly intelligent. He didn't drop out due to inability to excel academically. He took an indefinite leave to devote more time to the business he and his friend started then.
So please don't let we Nairaland users sound uninformed by always saying Bill Gates is an academic drop out. There's a difference between someone who couldn't pass his exams and as result dropped out and someone who had a good business and intellectual foresight and decided to drop out.
Even the Google boys are considered Stanford drop-outs, but are they really drop-outshuh?Larry Page graduated from Michigan with high honours in Mathematic(an equivalent of a British 1st class). He enrolled for a Ph.d at Stanford but due to ideas he got from his Ph.d research project he decided to suspend the Ph.d program after bagging an M.sc so as to start off his business with ideas gotten from a 1st class brain and mindset!!!!(D**n).He's now in the Forbes and u know what that means.
Try and understand what people mean by the term "drop-outs" guys.

Obj had ruled this country more than any other man, regardless of what we think, he is not even a graduate talkless of being first class.
Hmmm , this is another topic for tomorrow, but the thread started with a basic question "Did Elumelu make 3rd class?"
As much as we all appreciate the substance of intellectual discuss going side line with the topic, I suggest that we conclude with an answer to the main topic.

As for me, I wish I knew what year he graduated, I could pull out the facts from his class mates.

CareerRe: Mba At Lagos Business School by justyn3x(m): 8:19pm On Aug 08, 2007
@ ifetope,

Congrats and hope you make that deposit before August 15th.

Its nice to know we will be sharing more than the experience of being in Nigeria's best Business School. Honestly, the program is very rigorous and requires your best, if I may suggest, try to clear your head and desk before September 3rd, because thats when "Brush-Up" classes begin and if you can't take the heat for the 1 month, you might just find yourself asking to go home.

Its not regular "Nigerian University" setup, the faculty are serious about their work and there is really no room for excuses, take this serious.

Anyway, like I said see you soon in September.

Just breezing through this and stumbled on the post, it would be good to post the website addy on the jobs link of naira land if they don't mind recruiting locally from Nigeria.

A lot of good graduates are stranded in the search-market (labour-market) and can do with this kind of opportunity.

This is the time when we have to make that informed choice, dear fellow nairaland users, please visit this link and be adequately informed about where you want to be, what your vote will yield, what the job outlook will look like, what kind of credible people do you want to create that job you want.

By the way, how many of you are sending out information (by text messages, personal discussions, in family sittings etc) to your loved ones to make the informed choice? All this write-up has only been voted for by less than 600 house members, but stats show that nairaland has more than a 1000 viewers on the average.

Lets follow this stats with 5 text messages by each viewer, multiply that and the obvious is staring you in the face!!!

Seun, sorry o, but me won post politics for jobs, I think more people will see it there?

PoliticsRe: VP Atiku's Decision To Run For The Presidency? by justyn3x(m): 10:52pm On Apr 08, 2007
Most people will be surprised that off all that Atiku has seen with Baba, he still thinks he can win this battle.
From my point of view, he is guilty as charged and he should face the code of conduct bureau.

I have a funny side to this too. What do you think Baba said after Atiku told (no whispered) his agenda to contest for the 2007 election?

PoliticsRe: Presidential Debate On AIT: Very Funny by justyn3x(m): 11:06am On Apr 08, 2007
Like you, I was more than disappointed with the caliber of people who want to rule our Nigeria.

It was something I looked forward to and honestly, I was disappointed that Okotie did not show up giving Yar'dua an excuse also.( , or am I wrong?)

you could see 'the general" nodding his agama-lizard-like head in agreement with our learned and distinguished Prof. Pat Utomi.

I had initially written a blog-post on the issue http://extreeminvestor..com/2007/04/guber-and-presidential-debates.html and done justice on what could be expected with a cue from another blog friend of mine.

Well, the days of hiding behind OBJ are over as those who were fortunate to have electricity or own gen-set ( with fuel) saw what the true Leader should be.

The election will hold and we must sacrifice that day for this Nigeria. If you are amongst those that did not register, you are part of those running this country down and its a shame, cos some how you are not positive in attitude.

If you registered and will sell your vote for a few pennies, may your days last like that of Esau's pot of porridge.

If you registered and will be "unavailablly absent" like some guber or presidential candidates, I leave you at the mercy of posterity.

Long live our nascent democracy!

long live the Federal Republic of Nigeria!!

The election will hold, with or with-out you!!!

A nation gets its kind, as leaders. I will vote Pat Utomi, please for those of you out there, I think Lagos deserves Ibukun Ohimai.

**** To the Admin, this is my personal opinion o! I am no campaign manager, thanks for the opportunity****
