A Federal High Court in Abuja on Monday granted a former Head of Service of the Federation, Mr. Stephen Oronsaye, and his co-accused, release from custody pending the hearing of their bail application.
Justice Gabriel Kolawole made the order shortly after the accused persons were arraigned by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission on 24 counts of money laundering and fraud charges.
Justice Kolawole, who adjourned the hearing of the bail applications till July 21, ruled that the release granted to the accused persons would only take effect upon filing of written undertakings
by defence lawyers assuring that they would produce their clients in court at the next hearing date.
The judge hinged his decision to release the accused persons in the interim on the grounds that the EFCC had not indicated that the accused persons, particularly Oronsaye, had the tendency of absconding from trial. He had also overruled the request by the EFCC
prosecutor, Mr. Aliyu Yussuf, for the remand of the accused persons in prison.
The judge held that he could not force the
accused persons on the EFCC whose counsel contended that there was no space to accommodate them in its custody, but under the principle of “interim judicial reprieve,” the court
lacked the power to release the accused persons pending the hearing of the bail applications.
The court has fixed October 28, 29; November 3, 5 as well as December 5 for trial.

Lecture Series, lambasted the national oil firm,
stressing that he was hopeful that the current
administration of President Muhammadu Buhari
would kill the corporation.
The Kaduna State governor called for the setting
up of another national oil firm as he argued that
the present NNPC would kill Nigeria if it is
allowed to continue running as the country’s oil
firm.
“If you don’t kill NNPC, it kill Nigeria,” El-Rufai
said.

linux is an operating system just like windows. linux comes in different distributions otherwise called distros and if u like, u can call it version. these distros are made by different companies and each distro has it core functionality or do i say wat it was actually made for like kali linux was made for penetration testing, opensuse for servers and so on. linux has a better security implementation than windows which is why you hardly see linux users have an antivirus.
why u may need it on your phone?
linux is a powerful operating system and most of its functions come in the command line. u definitely cant learn all commands in a day. a phone is a more mobile platform dan ur laptop for you to increase.your knowledge about the os.
hackers can carry out some attacks right from their phones, they dont have to sit at a place and b confined to their laptops
can b ur own source of bragging rights among your peers.......

A young woman was reportedly killed when she fell off a bridge trying to take a selfie. Anna Krupeynikova, a 21-year-old, was out with pals when she leaned against a fence to take a picture
of herself, according to local media. But her support reportedly gave way, and she plunged 40 feet to her death.
The accident happened when Anna – who had just graduated with a degree in tourism – was travelling on a bus the group had hired to celebrate the birthday of a 19-year-old colleague.
They were sightseeing around Moscow and stopped by a bridge to take a few pictures of the Russian capital when the incident occurred, The Sun, reports.
Anna, a keen dancer who was just weeks away from her 22nd birthday, wandered away from the main group to take a selfie.
Anton, 19, one of her friends, said: “We met her a few months ago and should become one of our gang, she was quiet but always cheerful and when we got to the place where she died we had been taking photographs.
“Suddenly I heard a yell and someone said ‘Anna fell down’. I thought it was a joke but then I saw the reaction of people who went and looked over the side of the bridge.”
Local media said police were investigating whether she had been drinking but friends told local television that nobody on the bus had been drinking, and the party had been simply about
people who were friends getting together and enjoying themselves.

This points are absolutely true. No doubt. But while we ascribe the avoidable but pitiable unemployment rate in our nation, It is my informed submission that all graduates are employable but the conundrum is identifying where such graduates are needed to fully maximize their latent potential. And based on this premise, it is a problem of lack of sufficient employment opportunities. Even in the best universities in the world, we still have dunce there and some of their graduates are also incompetent but that is not to totally exonerate some of our schools from the blame.
The university/college only guides and individual to achieve a well defined controlled behaviour call discipline but how far you develop yourself depends on how voracious you are.
Our government should create jobs for everyone because I insist that all graduates are employable in some areas across all the sectors of the economy including agriculture. Government should stop hiding under the cloak of unemployability to justify the lack of job creation.
Most importantly, while everyone can't be entrepreneurs, our graduates should consider self employment. Have you ever wondered why there is no employee in the list of the world's richest persons?

Lady, you deserve an award for that last statement - there's truly no employee on the list of the world's richest persons.

Most people blame the education sector but the reality is, the contribution of the sector to graduate unemployment is just down the ladder as you have rightly put it

Most women if you ask them to take one yard they'll take one kilometer. They become very bossy at home and look down on the husband because he earns less. The Iyaloja-General of Ijebuland, Alhaja Sadia Elewuju has been assassinated by unknown gunmen at her residence on Wednesday in Ijebu Ode, ogun state, Southwest, Nigeria.
The 82-year old was besieged by six men who stormed her residence, a bungalow at about 3:00 pm yesterday.
The gunmen macheted their victim, cutting her recklessly. She reportedly died on her way to the hospital.
According to a source in Ijebu Ode, the outspoken Iyaloja was a very influential person who stood her ground on any matter. “She is always very vocal and fierce in her position on any matter.
She has championed many causes for women especially the market women.
The source added that: “She’s very popular in political circles. The house she lived in was given to her by the former Ogun state governor, Otunba Gbenga Daniel.”
Elewuju was installed as Iyaloja of Ijebu Ode by the Awujale of Ijebu Ode, Oba Sikiru Kayode Adetona.
