kingscare1: Hi and good morning. Let me ask...if you were a visa officer and you see this sort of enquiry in a forum(of a particular country), what would be your perception when applications from that country fall on your desk? Would you honestly be unbiased as to the authenticity of documents presented to you? I am not asking those who want to apply "sharp guy" methods not to. The outcome is your cup of tea .However for the sake of other applicants who may potentially be hurt by such- when you come to a public forum, identify one or two persons you can privately contact to make such enquiry. The internet is open. We seem to forget that developed countries engage in purposeful research before making policies that affect every aspect of their economy. Immigration is core to them. Their decisions to add or reduce documentation or intensify scrutiny on our applications are supported by trends and research. It presupposes why "some" Visa officers are so biased that they "occasionally" do not go through our documents meticulously even when one has fulfilled all requirements. Until you now reapply and another person reviews. No matter how much they claim they are not biased....our reputation as a country gets dented left and right from stories that emanate from our country. Don't add to it by this sort of question, please. You might be surprised how popular this forum is even outside of this country. I beg you to please take down that question as you have been answered....Abeg....comot am... 26 Likes |

Wow...it has been raining PPRs....congrats to every recipient. Infact, I pray the PPR rain doubles so they can clear space for us yet to submit. @Teemenzo @Chiziteremary @chuksiesmom....can't wait to celebrate with you the way you rejoice with others...keep the faith. Please, did anyone apply with their kid(s) and selected the study permit for the child? Kindly share the documentation submitted. I was to input the visit ( don't know which is applicable- Tourism or All other types), but the International student office advised that Study permit should be applied for, for the kids as it will be more time consuming and expensive from inside Canada- don't know how true. And that the study permit will allow them benefit from one health scheme like that- can't recall what they called it. Kindly share the documents needed and if I am to go with the Visitor's visa, which of the options should I select. Merci merci 4 Likes |

CharitMan: Got my acceptance in March. And someone else too can't recall the moniker though. It might be dependent on when you submitted all the required documents. Has there been any update on your application portal since you applied? You can send a mail to get more details or ask when you are likely to hear back. |

Uzoamaka123: Sorry to hear about MUN. I got my admission letter from Dalhousie last month. What is your app status on the portal? What prog? Also if it is thesis option /grad program, it would take longer time to hear back from what I gather.. I don't think it would be out of place to mail them to enquire. Keep the faith, you still have 2 options ...I hope it works out for you. |

oyedamilola: Mine is a graduate prog- MTEI. I haven't heard from them either. I think you should also have a couple of other schools as options. I am giving them time though perhaps it is because the application deadline has not passed yet. I do hope they respond timely for one to have ample time for the visa process. |

justwise: Seriously I don't know why people who join the thread are always so eager to join a WhatsApp group. If Nairaland was not beneficial with open info stored over the years, would you come here in the first place? Those who create the WA group monopolize and monetize information as they become middlemen with people who can provide help with certain facets of this journey. It is NOT any bad belle from @justwise- it just that having these information here will help others who come years after people here may have forgotten this thread. What if the creator of the WhatsApp group leaves the group, how will those coming later benefit from all the contributions made? If you want to chat one on one with someone for specific info already discussed but still not clear to you, simply use the provisions of Nairaland and message the person. It also helps with accountability cos any dealing you carry over to WA, it is all on you..but right here, your conversations are in the open and documentary evidence. It is truly selfish and same thing killed the Canadian PNP thread...now no more info and people's eyes are clear. Arrggghhhh.....we are just one of a kind people in this country! Mtcheww 3 Likes |

oloyedayo: @Yak; @oloyedayo I got notification mails today both acknowledging receipt of my transcript from my Uni and stating it acceptable and for me to to proceed to my study centre for registration. There was a long list of email addresses in the mail. Since one of the two (one from Noumis and the other from pgadmissions) mails ended up in my spam folder, I suggest you check yours ie if you are certain your transcript has been received by Noun PGS. HumorMe: Oh really? Please how will I complete it? The payment too , must it be bank payment? The online payment gives error. The RRR has been generated but completing it without going to bank would be preferred. Also do you know of anyone who has successfully registered for the course? I understand the program was recently added; my concern is that like the MSc Public health - someone mentioned it is not likely it takes off this semester. |

Good day all. Can someone please assist with information. I am trying to register for MSc Entrepreneurship but cannot make payment for days now. I have the Remita ref (RRR) but cannot finalise the payment. When I get to the page that shows Undergraduate & Postgraduate for me to proceed with selecting the program, it gets stuck there. Can anyone =who has successfully registered for the program pls give more details. Thanks in anticipation. |
