donroxy: Yeah, i agreed with all ur modalities as it affect average Nigerian, I mean AVERAGE!!!!!

What do u think can be done abt it ?
I think he has taken the first step, which is identifying some of the major problems, it's now up to each of us to ponder and make amends where necessary.

It begins with us here on nl, it begins with me.
PoliticsRe: Nigerians Are The Cause Of Nigerias Problems by k2039: 4:18pm On Dec 05, 2012
I dont agree that it resides in everyone of us, because if your assumption is true, then it's pointless hoping Nigeria will get better, in fact it will get worse.

I agree that the points listed are the reasons Nigeria is backward in every good thing, our politicians have proven it over and over again.

OP, you have taken the first step in sensitizing those of us on nl, it's up to us to search ourselves and make amends, if their is really any hope for Nigeria, then it will be from the youth, certainly the generation in power has failed us and expecting them to change is just not realistic.
PoliticsRe: Nigeria Is 35th Most Corrupt In The World, Says Transparency International 2012 by k2039: 3:56pm On Dec 05, 2012
The article was objective enough, it justified it's reason, I'm only waiting for the dumb fellows that will say 'Thank God, Nigeria didnt rank 1st, atleast we are better off than some countries ahead of us in the rank'

As it stands, asking the goverment to integrate anti corruption actions into all aspect of decision making is only a waste of time, I certainly know they wont, the judiciary itself is corrupt to prosecute and jail corrupt officials, only a revolution will save this country.

Our problems are fundamental, voting for the wrong reasons, poverty has really eaten deep into some peoples skin, so they can just sell their votes for money, it's not really about what the person has to offer.

But nomination is not enough to win the award

nikkyshyne: It is like this dude is stuck at the 'new topic section'. His preference is to be the 1st to comment. It got to a stage that whenever I read a new topic, I expect to see his comment proceeding. undecided grin lipsrsealed
My preference actually is to give my opinion, I believe that when you have two people with thesame opinion, one of them is not needed. So what that means is that when I see people write my opinion on a thread, I will rather just like the comments than comment, especialy when highly intelligent people like sexkillz, sanb, mrbrownjay, binger, mynd_44 etc, then it's pointless for me to comment, all I can do is watch from the sidelines and learn from their wisdom.
