Davluck: Very bad, those "OGA'S MALU'S at the top" will neva learn
That is true, most Nigerians don't understand the impact of good human relations, especially those at d top who call themselves the Ogas and the Bigmen.

Like he said, that's why our foreign based professionals don't put in their best when they play 4 naija.
CelebritiesRe: Africa Needs New Younger Celebrities!!! by kabaka1: 1:03pm On Mar 14, 2013
ITbomb: How will the new ones come up when all the producers and agents want is to get in between their legs before giving them a slot.

and you need to sleep with some required number of 'right' people before you can break in.

Only some shows like idols , talent etc can produce ,to some extent, clean stars
U're right. People don't really know what goes down behind d scene b4 a naija actress begins to get d the right roles in Nollywood like sexual harassment etc. And u know oh, parents like 2 protect their youths from these experiences.
Though such things it happens in places like US 2, but people r more cautious n the Us than naija.

Hahaha grin!!! Yes, another rotten political move by the leader of naija, which is meant to favor him 4 2015 election. Nigerians dey smarter than that oh cheesy!
Music/RadioRe: Timaya Ft Terry-G - Malo Nogede by kabaka1: 5:06am On Mar 13, 2013
Ivynwa: I liked this Nogede music bad when I heard it in Naija, I have been searching for it in youtube but didn't see it.
It isn't even sweet to listen to here. If you listen to it beaming loud from a good sound system, you will trip.

Video is kinda chaotic but I looooove the "Malo Nogede" part of the song.
Yes, track is pounding good and really, u can find d video now on YouTube.
Just type "Timaya ft Terry G" and u'll see it amongst d listed videos
Music/RadioRe: Timaya Ft Terry-G - Malo Nogede by kabaka1: 10:32pm On Mar 12, 2013
I love d song n I'd say Timaya n Terry G kill am. 4 d video, i think it has some interesting street images used to compose d video, but I believe the visual effects(Vfx) composition in d video could have been applied better to make d video stand our more.
One advice 2 the director, Gini, keep upgrading ur Vfx skills, especially on how to weave different clips together to create meaning or a message in the video.
Music/RadioRe: Timaya Ft Terry-G - Malo Nogede by kabaka1: 10:18pm On Mar 12, 2013
How old is Terry G? Facking lunatic.. undecided egeberi pap 2 of river state, couldn't even watch the video half way before tuning out!

Disappointed much... Heavy beat tho!
Why r u just hitting on these artistes with ur unnecessary points n negativity. Abi what has Terry G age got 2 do with this song n video?

Music/RadioRe: Tiwa Savage Ft Don-Jazzy - Without My Heart by kabaka1: 12:47pm On Mar 12, 2013
I love d song, especially d beat, but 4 d video, to me it has a nice collection of images, but I didn't feel d the full effect if d song with d video. I think seeing Tiwa in d black dress dancing with her backup dancers to d thumping beat of the track would have been really cool 4 d video grin.

olas2u: You are just short sighted man.80% of it is owned by foreigners ,but you focus your mind on tribal issues.Do you know what 80% of the block to foreigners means?
80% mean say na dem own Nigeria cry
But why does this government feel the need to lie to about every single thing they do? Don't Nigerian's deserve to know the truth?? or do they think they can keep us in darkness forever??

They need to release an up to date list showing we the Nigerian people, the "multi-national" corporations, that own a majority share of the oil blocks? These people are blood sucking retards and deserve all the evil that is coming to them!
The govt keeps us in the dark about these oil block allocation because some people in give r getting wealthier daily by keeping us in the dark. U don't blame them as that's how d system is been setup to favor n enrich some group of people in govt. That's why u see some people who would want to be involved in politics 4 the rest of their lives cos they understand how d system is setup and know where these free oil money comes from.

One solution is to root out some oldies who keep meddling with n control naija's politics

Lady Winona: Her makeup is flawless but the dress looks cheap and made by a not-too-good tailor. I don't care what fashion house that dress was born in, all I know is dt it was poorly made. Yeah, b4 I forget, the Aladdin headcover needs to go as well.
I agree with u. The dress looks cheap like it's made by a local low profile tailor n d head wrap makes her look weird
This is the first. Sounds so unlike Nigeria.
Yes! Parts of naija like Imo is probably waking up. But don't be 2 excited yet until we see the outcome of this scandal cos if he goes free without bring prosecuted 4 his crimes then I'd say it's same cock n bull story that has gripped naija politics since d beginning of time.
PoliticsRe: Imo Deputy Governor Resigns by kabaka1: 8:07pm On Mar 10, 2013
last timer: Nice one. Let the state governor bring in a credible individual to man that role. Let the cleansing exercise begin. We don't want drug peddlers, ritualists and people of questionable character in positions of authority any more like in the days of yore.
Amiii oh!
PoliticsRe: Imo Deputy Governor Resigns by kabaka1: 2:19pm On Mar 10, 2013
valentino14: Nigeria is rily changing. He shud be impeached. Nd Efcc shud arrest him immediately until he provides d money.
Even if he provides d money, he should still be prosecuted in d court of law n if found guilty, he should spend some good time in prison n not just six months wey dem give Bola Ife
PoliticsRe: Imo Deputy Governor Resigns by kabaka1: 2:11pm On Mar 10, 2013
take dat: Pre-emptive measure to save face! He should be made to face charges of financial impropriety, and not a get away with a slap on the wrist of "just resign and we'll forget the matter ever happened!"
If he resigns, he should stll face the law.
Oooooh! Like say we don forget say him be one of naija's untouchable BIGMAN. ie no matter how much he loots, he'll still be shielded from prosecution as his fellow BIGMEN are always watching his back.

I sorry 4 Nigeria!!!

So I thought 2. K, I guess na d New Nairaland xchange rate. Loool!!!
SportsRe: Nwankwo Kanu Defrauded Of N1.4 Billion By His Hotel Manager by kabaka1:
gbokukueba: Kanu and Gam have come along way and have built trust has the guy used to be his account manager during the time of Gulf bank intact I heard he advised Kanu to move his funds before the collapse of the bank. I think that singular act made Kanu trust him with all his investments including his photo studio at Allen. I also heard he kept 2 records for the biz one to show Kanu which is totally bloated and the real one nobody ever saw...

The guy is pure evil, imagine after running up and down the field in Europe only one of each maga to chop the money angry
Sometimes, people can just turn a new leaf when they see money. It's just about greed.
Also some people think it's easy 2 make it like that as a footballer in Europe n 4 u to come overnight and squander their hard earned money.

Hope he pays through his nose oh!
SportsRe: Nwankwo Kanu Defrauded Of N1.4 Billion By His Hotel Manager by kabaka1: 5:07pm On Mar 09, 2013
I just hope d cruel hands of d law go grip them on d neck till they vomit all d money wey dem don steal. No matter how rich Kanu is, he's really worked hard to earn his wealth n has paid dues 2 naija. He doesn't deserve this at all from fellow naijas.
Its not good to be an illiterate....even if u haff cash...kanu can't even speak english well....so he is treated like a spare part seller
Shut up. Is he an English man to be perfect in English. And do u what being an "illiterate" really mean. It means someone that can't read and write.
I had the honor of going 2 same secondary school as Kanu, which is "Holy Ghost College, Owerri, IMO State" and at some point in school, I saw his report card, and learn that Kanu usually came 1st to 5th in his class. because he was such a superb player in secondary school, and Iwuanyanwu national took notice of his talent and signed him b4 he went international. He took that opportunity to boost his talent and better himself financially. Common, I mean who wouldn't have taken such a great opportunity if it comes ur way unless u're a big fool. Besides playing football, I know he would have have gone 2 d university and would have done really well any course he chose because something I notice about Kanu is that hem's a perfectionist.

Back 2 d argument here, I don't know why most Nigerians like u like 2 brand somebody without a university level education ir that lack a high proficiency in english language an illiterate and by d way, who says that only ur so called illiterates can be duped . So all d Americans and westerners that are being duped daily by d naija 419 guys r illiterates 2.
My friend, u need 2 wake up from ur ignorance shocked.
ProgrammingRe: List Of Nigerian Software That Compete Globally by kabaka1: 3:42pm On Mar 09, 2013
Phemmmy: Unfortunately none.
Does it mean our people are not intelligent enough?
I don't think so. One if d solution 2 this problem is that we have to change our culture in naija by emulation the western countries ie 2 be able to take monetary risks by investing huge amount if money(ie millions of $$$) in our quest to develop sophisticated softwares that can compete globally.
I know we have enough intelligent people in Nigeria that can develop these products. They just lack d much needed financial support to stat with.
ProgrammingRe: List Of Nigerian Software That Compete Globally by kabaka1: 3:26pm On Mar 09, 2013
aasog1: Exactly my thought. Gocybetix is a useless piece of software, with an ordinary task manager or system process software you can disable it, and have unlimited access to a computer. Seems Nigerian computer science students arent learning anything worthy in our unis. Another evidence of a USELESS educational system. What a country grin
How dem go learn sthg solid in computer science when our people don't have that culture of taking big risks like pouring millions of dollars 2 do research like western nation do, they can innovate and be competitive in the global tech market. We dont have 2 blame this on d govt oh cos in the west most of software/high-tech innovations came mostly from private investors who believed in their technologists who pitched their ideas to them b4 they invested.
We just have 2 change our culture here in naija. It's not that we don't have the human resource of people that can develop softwares that can be globally competitive, rather the main problem is that these people lack the financial support that will help to churn out softwares that can be globally appealing and competitive.

berem: Odikwa egwu! This is corruption at advanced level. Haba! This man wants to tarnish the image of Rochas. You can imagine projects that will be abandoned at the end of his tenure and yet the blame will be on Rochas. Did is just too bad.
U're absolutely right. Once his deputy begins 2 stink of corruption, it's inevitable that people will assume that Rochas stinks 2, so d best advice I have 4 Rochas is to get rid of this Agbaso guy as his deputy n find someone with a better reputation. This will boost his public image n give him a better chance 4 2015 election 2.
