Seems like this recruitment exercise would continue next year |
Tmany: Google ChromeYou got a reply? Seriously? |
I wrote the test without writing the practice questions, hope its not an issue? |
Pls guys who have written the test, is it just Verbal and Numerical? Does it include Inductive or Deductive reasoning? |
Many people commenting here dont seem to understand what is being said. He didn't say you should eat the yam with the back, he said you should cook with the back and then peel the yam after cooking. |
How are the candidates contacted? Text or mail? |
Stunning! |
For those who are interested in the FBN salary, I asked a staff about it yesterday. He told me that BA(banking assistants) earn 133k monthly in addition to allowances. He said that this recruitment would likely be for ET(executive trainees), which is a level below BA. Hence the salary would be somewhere between 100k and 133k in addition to allowances. |
The reason why females grow fatter than males isn't because they consume more calories, its physiological; the hormones that are produced more in females promote fat storage and muscle breakdown while the male hormones do the opposite. Of course there are exceptions: women who consume more calories, slim women, fat men, etc, but generally men consume more calories and their bodies use more calories than women. |
Pls guys kindly send the SHL materials to therealkaycee4u@yahoo.com |

For all those that have successfully applied, what is the specification for the size of documents uploaded? Is it that EACH one must be 300kb or ALL of them together must be 300kb ie 50kb each? Answers pls |
I'm not a first bank or workforce staff, i'm just a candidate like most of us here. At the Assessment Centre yesterday, they told us that they will definitely go thru the records of all b4/shortly after they are taken. If u do not meet up to all of their requirements, there's no need proceeding cos even if u pass all the stages, during the time of validation of documents u wont scale thru. Someone born in 85 is already 28 and their requirement is 27 |
freddaboh: Is age an issue in the selection process? A friend of mine is 31 but got the phase 2 assessment invite. Will he be disqualified during accreditation?Yes |
It was just as expected, there was a written test, group discussion, presentation and competence interview |
Pls Xtanburg is the topic for individual presentation related to/same as what ur grp discussed? |
danniyal: u are very right. Did the assessment last year& couldnt make it.d test consist of 20 questions(mostly banking & financial maths), for the group work, a topic will b given for u to discuss as a group & u will be scored as d discussion goes on-so ensure u contribute. For d individual presentation, make sure u know how to use power point(especially how to create slides) cos a topic will be given to u & a computer to prepare your presentation using power point. For the individual presentation, what tools will be given to u to prepare ur presentation? Internet? would the group discussion be with other candidates? What questions do they ask in the interview? Do they ask any banking related question or current affairs in the test and interview? |
I heard it will include a test, interview, group and individual presentations |
My question is directed to experienced body builders on this thread. How often do you work a particular body part/muscle in a week? How many reps and sets do you do for each muscle? How long/ how many minutes do your workouts last to avoid over training? From ur experience what works best for results? |
Pls what is the group task all about? Is the interview oral- what kind of questions can one expect? After this phase, would there be another phase? |
My first question is this: who has any idea what the assessment centre for the phase 2 would look like? Is it oral or written? What kind of questions do we expect? Would there be any presentations? Any genuine answers would be appreciated. |
Its no longer news that following the written test in June, workforce has started inviting successful candidates for Phase 2 of the First Bank recruitment. Let this serve as the official thread; drop your suggestions, questions, advice, etc here Congrats to all shortlisted candidates! |

alexleo:Why are you sounding like ASUU should be trusted? The FG is corrupt, but so is ASUU. What has ASUU done with the money they have received before? What are the guarantees that the money they are clamouring for would be put to use-all of it? What do Universities do with their huge yearly revenues from fees? I look around i see many lazy lecturers, with nothing to offer the students, no desire to learn or improve. yet they want increased salaries and allowances. |
uh...how does having lumps make 1 get implants? When u get lumps,u get em removed...u dont get implants. Correct me if im wrong
When u have removed the lumps, the breast is usually in bad shape; thats why some get implants to maintain full breasts- recently Angelina Jolie did so |
Its quite funny to me the way ASUU and its lecturers are claiming victims in the on-going strike. The FG is very corrupt, no doubt about that; but what about ASUU and the governing council of universities? What do they do with the exorbitant fees they collect from students yearly? A LASU student claimed he paid N200,000 as school fees; isn't that close to what some private universities pay, yet they are self-sustaining? Break down of school fees- paid by the 15,000-30,000 students in a public school- usually include maintenance, sports, library, medicals, etc. What are all these funds used for? Acceptance fees, hostel accomodation fees, where do these hundreds of millions of naira go? A school cant even maintain/build its hostels, lecture halls, laboratories and its asking for more, what are the guarantees that the money would be put to proper use. Instead they are busy comparing their salaries with that of senators. Many people have noticed that graduates in this country are lazy and half baked, but so are many of the lecturers. Just like their students, they have refused to read and have actually stagnated with little or nothing to offer the students. As far as i'm concerned, the ongoing ASUU strike is a case of pot calling kettle black. |
I'm applying for a job in Orthopaedic Hospital in Enugu and live in Onitsha. Someone advised me to use an address in Enugu (instead of my address in Onitsha), that Enugu residents would be considered first. Is that true? |
. Look here. We are all concerned about the situation that's why we are commenting. Moreso when I see students here running their mouth against ASUU and supporting the govt I pity you people. You people don't know these politicians. When you have one or two things to do with them you ll understand that they have a different interest in whatever they are doing. By the time you graduate and come into the labour field you ll understand some of these things very well. For now, keep enjoying your pocket money.
