Hello guys... please I need help registering as I'm confused on which arm to go for.
I'm a fresh graduate of Electrical Electronics Engineering. I have my degree certificate obviously but I'm not yet registered with either COREN or NSE. I'd be glad if anyone can help out here.
My course falls under two categories: Nigerian army Engineers and also Electrical and Mechanical Engineers. I think Nigerian Army Signals too.
So my bone of contention is, can I apply for any of this positions under DSSC with just my degree cert or not? Which means I might have to apply for the SSC course. Any help
Not every nation produces oil nd they are one of the greatest in Economy.

country like Luxembourg is really doing great but there r not oil producing nation.

meanwhile it hav been predicted that oil will not be valuable in 30 years ahead. and many technology industries are producing Electric vehicle nd so on.

The earlier the people of Nigeria Understand that they are not one , the better for them ..

i can never accept to be in the sane country where fulani is...

Abbey8484:
Well in my opinion the only way for things to work is devolution. Resource control, local government autonomy is super necessary...but we shouldn't deceive ourselves. The economy is only oil dependent at the moment meaning only the niger delta contributes so why would the other states agree to devolution? Why would they accept anything that will make things work? The present system enables those contributing nothing to live fat of the nation's wealth at the expense of the wealth creators. The high corruption is sustained by the present system so why would the majority want a better system?

Britain Said Black life matters but they allowed Scotland that is about 5 million in population to be a country and denied Biafra that is about 50 million plus from having their own country .
is this not greatest Racism on Earth earth ?
e
Many are talking of Restructuring but the restructurung was what was discussed in Aburi Accord on January, 1967 which Gowon refused to implement the Aburi Accord which made Ojukwu to to declare the Freedom of His People 5 months later.

I stand with the disintegration of the Almagamation of Arewa , Oduduwa , Biafra , And Midle bet to form what has never worked for man kind for more than 100 years ..

Referendum is the best..

let everybody decide if He want 1 nigeria or not ..

Jobs/Vacancies / Re: Recruitment Into Nigerian Prisons Service 2018 by Kachi11061998(m): 1:22pm On Aug 10, 2020
Suspended Recruitment: Five (5) Solid Facts Steering at Applicants:

The Federal Government has suspended all recruitments indefinitely due to the covid-19 outbreak, leaving applicants in a start of confusion

Nearly all the paramilitary organizations were affected, some paramilitary institution were at the concluding end of their recruitments before the outbreak and the lockdown of the nation

The affected organizations whose services are essential to the nation include: Nigerian Civil Defense Corp, Independent National Electoral Commission, and Nigerian Drug Law Enforcement Agency

Nigerian Custom Service, Nigeria Immigration Service, Independent Corrupt Practice and other related offenses Commission have been put on hold for now

Many applicant have expressed doubt if the recruitment will till go on, we will unlock some facts about the 2020/2021 recruitment suspended lately

Recruitment for NIS, NCS, NSCDC, INEC, ICPC, and NDLEA were only suspended, not cancelled
The recruitments from the above named organizations were only suspended due to the containment effort put in place to stop the spread of the covid-19 pandemic. It was not suspended because of limited funds:

Large gathering further the spread of the virus, so the need to discontinue recruitment were came in.

Nigeria Center for Disease Control and Prevention categorically advised the Federal Government to discourage gathering up to 20 persons.

Continuing the recruitment will endanger the lives of applicants and that of their immediate family and friends and loved ones .

The Services Provided by NIS, NCS, NSCDC, INEC, ICPC, and NDLEA are in the Exclusive List and Very Important to the Nation
The nation is under-staff in terms of security personnel; the Federal government is on the verge of bridging this gap, to this end, more than 70 thousand paramilitary staff are needed, according to the national conference report 2014

The federal government is leaving no stone behind to meet up with the required numbers of military and paramilitary personnel needed to government 200 million Nigerians

The government started by giving at least 4,500 to 6000 slots to each paramilitary institutions in Nigeria, these institutions are well funded and are very kin to the nation’s development

Budgeted Funds for Recruitment are Intact
A glance at the 2020 budget gives a clear detail of funds budgeted for Federal Government recruitment, though times are tough and the budget was slashed by 20% (one trillion naira), Military and Paramilitary organizations were not affected

The Minister of Finance and governor of the economic did not touch personnel cost of the some Ministries, Departments and Agencies (MDA).

This means that, Salaries and funds needed to pay salaries and conduct the recruitments are adequately provided for.

Recurrent in Military and paramilitary organizations Have Never Been Halted
The 2007 Global Economic Meltdown and 2015 Economic recession are Examples of hard times when paramilitary and military recruitment still held

Even in the face of economic fallout, the nation’s security is of utmost priority and importance. No government jokes with it.

The current Covid-19 pandemic and the fall in the oil price might weaken the economy but may not affect the intake or increase in numerical strength of securities bodies

Procurements of military and paramilitary equipment may be put on hold

Recruitment will continue After the Pandemic and Lockdown
The Federal Government is waiting for the pandemic to be over so as to ease the lockdown and open the economy for business

When this becomes a reality, there will be continuation of the held recruitment; other paramilitary organizations will open their doors for new entrant

There are much hopes the country and the world at large will come back to normal soon, vaccines for the deadly corona virus are currently been developed and tested

There have been successes in the test of covid-19 vaccines in the UK, India and the United State.

many are saying that it is the same politician who are ruling now will still rule when Biafra is actualise. i want to correct that misconceptions now.

Biafra is Going to be a Confederation and the system of governance will be Autonomous . Every Nation In Biafra Will manage and control the resource they produce in their region. The only thing The Nations In Biafra Will shear In common are Regional Defense nd currency .

Igbo Nation will be in charge of their resource , Same with Idoma , Ijaw , Anang, Ibibio , Itsekiri , Igbanke , Urobo ... if benin wish to be part of Biafra they will be to Biafra What Monaco Is to France . Biafra is going to be great nation few years after Actualization .

Some are saying that is it because of Oil that Igbos want to include The Southern Nigeria as Biafra. i want to let u know that God has used our Mothers to show us the boundary of Biafra And Oduduwa and Midle belt . Check How many pieces of Rapper ur mother Ties when going out for meeting or Official place and the pieces of Rapper Oduduwa nd fulanis mothers tie when going out.

Constitution will be written in Language every nation speaks . This Project of Actualizing Biafra is a Divine Mandate .

Biafra Is the only Hope ..

Biafra Is older than What we Think .

God bless Biafra

Crude oil d ur head .

QuadrilAyinde:

Don't forget that the NIS has 8 DIRECTORATES and THE SAME DIRECTORATE (HUMAN RESOURCES MANAGEMENT DIRECTORATE) is responsible for APPOINTMENTS, PROMOTIONS, TRAINING AND STAFF DEVELOPMENT, STAFF WELFARE AND GENERAL SERVICES...

Definitely they'd want to Handle both Tasks (Promotion and Recruitment) One-at-a-Time by prioritizing The Promotion which is more Important to RUNNUNG THE NIS INTERNAL AFFAIRS at the moment, thereby Giving the directorate (HRM) the NECESSARY FREE TIME AND ENERGY to focus on the Recruitment process

hope u now understand brother
