mrjaydee: Good read.. OP try White house @sabo close to ozone cinemas.. from my calculation they should be making more than a million every 3days.. Food used to be great especially Amala n Gbegiri n Ewedu with Ogunfe..This days the food is not that great again. But, people still patronise them a lot.
I only go there weekends to look for babes and pay for their food, then take them to Ozone cinemas or Silvercafe Bar for drinks, then my home for knacks".
This works any weekend I go there.. mostly those unilag babes, I like 3some and I can guarantee you will get it, if you smart.
This weekend I will be there..anyone wanna join? Lol! I know Whitehouse. |

HaileSelassie: 2018 has been a roller coaster year for me.. Got a job around Feb immediately after service.. Obviously oblivious of how office politics is played, I got booted out some four months later.
Only to discover that the girl I had built my dreams with was only leveraging on me and cheating all d time. Attended a record 15 interviews after being relived no show... Gosh!
I lost interest in life itself.. I lost interest in developing relationships, Backstabbing friends, selfish FAM, mom remarrying just a year after dads death, losing that family love I once enjoyed as a last born, mehn I slipped into depression...
I had fixed q date to commit suicide sef, just hung on and finally opened up to my elder bro. Who admonished me not to give up!
I long lost interest in My dear Arsenal football club, getting to watch again after Emery appointment. Lost interest in sex, lol my libido used to be up above d clouds, lost interest in my web development trainings .
D only thing keeping me sane is working out.. I lost weight and built up muscles. Getting compliments is so cool.
Well still haven't gotten a Job, the interviews keep coming had one on Friday, and another comes up on Wednesday, not giving up yet.. I might have Lost a great deal of my vibe, but I am getting back to my real self
Still got bouts of depression now and then, but I know it will be over soon.. Amen Well done bro, a way will eventually open. Just keep going at it and have a positive mind. Cheers! |

Education › Re: Universities With Fast Postgraduate M. Sc Programmes In Nigeria by kachiz(m): 11:45am On May 03, 2018 |
micxwell: Well said. For instance, I resumed class late April 2016 at UI (Civil Engineering). Things went on smoothly for about two months then there was strike for about two months. We wrote our first semsester exams in september despite the fact that many of us especially those in other options resfused to agree to it. They all said they weren't prepared. Thank God for the set of stubborn class reps we had. They told the HOD to fix the exam and he did. The same thing repeated itself during the second semester and it was even more serious. Eventually the reps made sure we wrote our second semsester exams before Xmas (still in 2016). We had our final defense in August 2017, making it just about 16 months minus the 2 months strike. We all went home happy thinking we will convocate come November 2017. Later, the PG coordinator said there are 2 guys amongst us that are yet to finish their coursework and therefore they are afraid the PG School will sanction the department if they got to know that they allowed their students to defend a final project knowing full well that they aren't done with coursework. The department refused to send our results. Hence, my set was delayed by 2 students. We are 84 in all. Hopefully we'll convocate this year. SO, THERE ARE MANY FACTORS INVOLVED. LUCK BEATS ALL. Hello bro, I sent you a PM |

Electricity supply depends on the area but is generally OK. I know this is an old thread but could you mention some of the areas with good electricity supply. I have plans of moving to Ibadan within the next month or two. Thanks! |
Nairaland General › Re: What's Your Definition Of The Word "Stingy"? by kachiz(m): 12:50pm On Apr 13, 2018 |
MrBrownJay1: a stingy person is someone who is careful with money, who knows the value of money, and most importantly, how hard it is to make money (thus they dont squander it on BS).
sadly, the majority of people in Nigeria who call others stingy have absolutely no money to call their own, and are usually the one begging that same "stingy" person for handouts etc (or expect him to spend frivolously on them). GBAM! |

On this day in 2011, I took Nomso out and spent half of my February pocket money at an eatery not too far from my school. I had hoped that taking here out and spoiling her on this special day will equal to her turning into my girlfriend. Oh, how mistaken I was. At the end of the day, she only gave me a side hug (this is that type of hug where no part of the bress will touch you by mistake). I went back that night to my room counting my losses. |
