Pure comedy. ![]() I understand political discussions are forbidden on this thread, but comedy is allowed. What a decision! |
Seems like FBNH will come out with positive results. |
@Chibuking81 I am the only one that appreciated your post .I "liked" your comment. People please appreciate Chibueze. He needs our encouragement. |
What special privilege has the seat of the presidency conferred to the tribe or ethnic group of previous occupiers? I guess no one will be able to provide an honest answer. Obasanjo could not repair the road to Ota during his tenure.Jonathan is currently being begged to complete the east west road. The north has benefitted more, even without being in power. I think what the Igbos need is to extract some concessions from whoever needs their support ,not the presidency per se as an end . Jonathan got his support on a platter, unwise as it sounds politically, its a good move intended to heal the feelings of mistrust between igbos and their neighbors. The Igbos will surely come out better, that I do not doubt. |
FrankTalk1:Na siddon look mode I dey now. |
myjoy08:Person wey dey wait for bear go wait tire. This week might not be too eventful, except a highly negative information filters in. Monday and Tuesday next week is very key.. I agree with Peterichy's submission. |
I had thought the market would present me an opportunity to make a lifetime investment this week. Alas,I was wrong! You can never predict the stock market. |
Collynzo419:The answer to your question is simple. Nigeria is a mono-economy and vey vulnerable to dutch disease.Partly the same situation with other downgraded countries. The present goverment has taken some bold steps to diversify the economy, but these steps take time to come good. Some have produced quick wins and instant results;its not a days job basically. I agree that the government should have had enough fiscal buffers to withstand price shocks in the oil market, but thats a story for another day. |
Collynzo419:Bro,you have to request for a rating before you can be rated. Some countries are graded as NR (Not rated) ,what does that mean ? It means the country has not requested to be rated or there could be insufficient information to carry out a rating. Countries like libya and mali have no rating, even Namibia and a host of others. Bros its not all about politics, most oil producing countries are affected by the downgrade. |
Collynzo419:Olodo! You think S &P rating is a free service? Boy ,you have to subscribe before you can be rated! And now listen again, almost all oil producing countries were downgraded , Saudi Arabia inclusive. Am not talking politics,am talking economics. |
Amaechi will also be shocked when the election results are announced. |
Not just Nigeria. All oil producing countries under their radar was downgraded too ; Russia ,Angola,Venezuela etc. Its expected, due to the current volatility in the crude oil market ,added to the fact that the dollar got stronger. |
lmao. Rivers was never for APC. I pity Dakuku, hes a nice vibrant young man but rolling with the wrong folks. |
lmao. APC got served. Meanwhile,Oyegun said seven PDP govs will defect to APC few days to the election,it seems the reverse will be the case. |
Maybe he met the dude shagging his daughter. RIP |
collins6381:She's originally from Enugu state. The daughter of frontline politician, C.C Onoh. |
Odenigbo,Zona ,Enoch. Honetsly,I dont feel the issues you raised should be a barrier. Ojukwu is not just an anambra man,but a highly revered Igbo leader. Bianca's state of origin should not be an issue. Ruling her out on that basis looks divisive and clannish. I believe every Igbo man who have stayed long enough in any Igbo state and have contributed to its growth should be encouraged to aspire to any political position ; we (anambra) can be a leading light on political inclusion to other Nigerian states and promote unity among Igbo states. Bianca has earned the right to aspire to any position in anambra state.Biko unu ekwusikwana ife a ike, onwe ka osi ada na nti!. On the basis of gender. I have this to say gents , that woman is made of steel! She comes off as an emotionally strong woman. I formed this opinion after I read her very measured and apt interview on the aftermath of Obis defection to PDP. I have been following her progress after that.I recognise the apathy towards women in a male dominated political terrain , hence I recommended that she be groomed by Obiano. By the time she rotates between two or three politically important positions ,she would have acquired the necessary skills required for governance. I think she will make a good candidate. |
A thought came to my mind after reading Freeglobes post above. I think Obiano should groom Bianca to become the next governor of anambra state, on completion of his 8yr tenure. She has the class and intellectual ability. With political experience and the right grooming, she can become the undisputed Igbo leader, just like her late husband. She seems to understand Ojukwus vision and its quite evident from her speeches. |
Thanks Schematics , cjrane for the update on the 3D studio. |
Schematics:Bro,I have never heard of a 3D Digital studio before now. I guess you were referring to the 3D architectural plan above. |
Poor officiating. For all the 8 years of Obasanjo's rough tackle on Nigeria,he only got a yellow card when he attempted a third term. Enter Uncle Jona, who has won an award for fair play (Anambra,Edo,Osun,Ekiti) and you wan give am red card. Oga referee, you are not fair. This is not a red card offence. Yellow card ? maybe. |
Uncle Aregbe needs money to pay salaries. ![]() Unfortunately,he has spent most of his states' allocation funding APC campaign. Now,he needs money to pay six months arrears of outstanding salary. Meanwhile, its a bit funny when your hear politicians say that 500,000 barrels of crude is stolen everyday. That is a huge lie which has stood for a very long time, unchallenged. The figures lost to theft is nowhere near what is being peddled. When an oil pipeline is ruptured or vandalized, oil companies shut in production and declare force majeure. This shut in causes an unrealised loss of earning to the company and country. So,for everyday the pipeline remains shut, the country has lost the equivalent monetary value it would have gained if crude oil was flowing through the pipeline. The causes of the shut in are mostly vandalisation ,sabotage and illegal bunkering. Our politicians need to note the difference between Oil theft and unrealised potential earnings. |
From the east to the west, Theodore Orji is the worst! |
Kagame:Myjoy08 was right after all, my bad! |
myjoy08 munkey hunting since 1920 ![]() |
Meanwhile, Brent is having a very bad day - $56.66. |
Aha,I talk am say some bad guys don see APR results. .Agbalowomeri fit be board member sef. ![]() |
Brent is showing some weakness. Currently doing $57.7 while the dollar index has firmed up in today's trading. Both are inversely correlated. |
@Chibuking81 You may be very right with your predictions, but wrong in your delivery and presentation. That makes you doubly wrong. I'd leave you with this evergreen quote from Soros ; 'Markets are constantly in a state of uncertainty and flux and money is made by discounting the obvious and betting on the unexpected' - George Soros |
