chrisviral:Thanks... What about the issue of name order? |
Kudos to all those that are extending helping hand to others... I want to make some enquiries. I intend to write toefl late january and I want to know the materials used by those that have done it before and passed. Furthermore, if you have passed it, can you sell/give the materials to me so that I won't have to spend on new materials? Is it possible to start preparation by early january and write mid or late january and pass? Note: I have been practicing with the free sample questions but I intend to get the necessary materials early january. Lastly, I read on toefl website that the name used in registering on their site must be same with the name of the national Id or passport before one can be allowed into test venue and I followed the instructions but after registration, my first name came first, followed by middle name, then surname instead of surname coming first, followed by first name, then middle name. For example, the name came like this ' akinola segun Onaola' instead of surname coming first like this 'onaola akinola segun(note: the name are fake). Will I be allowed to enter with this variation? To make 1st class or 2.1 is not hard and at the same time, it is not easy. It totally depends on the students. Determination, commitment, hardwork, discipline and most importantly, prayer are what potential first class and 2.1 students need to achieve their goals. Let me give a brief account of how I made 2.1 and emerged the best graduating student in my department. In my 100 level, I set a goal for myself which was to emerge as the best student in my department and finished with first class. In line with the above statement, i was committed to my study. I read everyday and I made sure that I didn't carry any note till the next day. At the end of 100 level, I made first class. In my 200 level, I continued on the path to achieving my dreams(goals). Before I left for the break after 100 level exams, I collected 200level materials from senior colleagues and I read it before we resumed 200level. It helped as I had time to read other materials outside school work. It should be noted that at this time, I've started taking my department course and it required analytical skill and critical reasoning skill so I developed a method of practicing/discussing what I learnt in class outside the class. I usually stayed back in school after my lectures and moved to faj hall of residence in order to join guys in arguing about current political issues. By doing this, I understood/grounded what I learnt in class as I've subjected them to test of rigorous scrutiny and objective critique. This continued till my part 3 and part 4. At the end of the day, I finished with 2.1 and emerged as the best graduating student in political science. It should be noted that in my part 1 and part 4, I attended different social events but I didn't attend much in my part 2 to 3. Certain factors didn't allow me to finish with first class but I emerged as best graduating student. LESSONS FOR INTERESTED 1ST AND 2.1 STUDENTS. 1). Set a goal for yourself and be committed to it. 2). Try as much as possible to stay clear of distractions like womanising(you can have like 4 to 5 gfs throughout your stay. You can have more than this if you know that it won't distract you but I seriously doubt it), drinking to stipour(I don't drink but if you drink, try and apply sense) 3). Always read everyday. 4). Surround yourself with brilliant students like yourself because iron sharpens iron. 5). Always attend class. 6). Be updated( especially for those in social sciences or art) TO BE CONTINUED...(Low battery)pardon any typo. No time to proofread |

I've not used it before but I can assure you that they are legit. I know this because recently, I checked OAU website about ordering for transcript online. There was a link about online application for transcript and when I clicked on it, I was redirected to etx page... Even when I went to exams and record section in OAU, the posters around there showed that they were legit... WORD OF ADVICE: Instead of ordering for transcript which will cost more that 11,000naira, why don't you apply for a copy manually which will cost about 2000naira? Then you can upload it when you are applying to the university. Some universities accept uploading of official transcipt by applicant. You should write to your preferred university to enquire whether they accept it but if you are finanially buoyant, ignore my advice. |

NnamdiN:I can't find it. I think I saw it on another thread in this Nysc section... Let me see whether I can recollect what he said. After you enter your email and password on Nysc site, a page will appear where you will ask to pay. Then go to that page's web address and change the words to this 'portal.nysc.org.ng/print or portal.nysc.org.ng/print.aspx' |
NnamdiN:I am searching for it now |
NnamdiN: Check it ooo and you can use the shortcut provided by a guy to bypass their settings if you didn't pay 4k... ![]() |
sodiqyinka:Thanks... Good night |
NnamdiN:Thanks... That's what I plan to do but I don't know whether Nysc officials in camp will cross check my call up letter with their own record or maybe it will affect me when I want to collect letter of discharge... Cc sodiqyinka |
