Romance / Re: How To Make A Man Fall In Love With You by Kaliyat(f): 3:27pm On Jun 03, 2007
Thats really something coming from a guy. Is that how she got you? I mean your babe? If yes, then I dont expect you to believe it will work on every guy. Men are different and have different opinions to a lady's advances.

Some men might take a lady to be cheap if she starts showing interest in them. I remember the guy that sent a post about a bank lady stalking him. Maybe she was trying to make him fall in love with her but the guy was not taking it funny at all.

Or maybe you will say she was not doing it right. I think we should let things work out naturally, that goes for guys too.

Let her fall in love with you in her own way. If she is the one, then it will come naturally PERIOD!!!
WHAT IS THE WORLD WITHOUT LOVE ANYWAY?

Peace y'all. wink wink wink wink cool
Culture / Re: Dating A Nigerian Guy In China by Kaliyat(f): 2:10pm On Jun 03, 2007
jesqueen sorry to say this but i think you are claiming to be a chinese girl and by all standards i will say you are not. I have not seen a chinese girl that has not been to Nigeria and is speaking "ah ah" which is typical of people from the western part of the country. If you dont have anything to write abt, why not just relax rather than looking for attention.

I dont mean to be acusing but that is just how i feel.

Career / Re: What Do You Really Love to Do? by Kaliyat(f): 6:40pm On Jun 01, 2007
I love reading romantic novels, music, food and sleep. Most of the things we love to do are way out of league with our various jobs. Its probably because 60% of people dont find real satisfaction in their jobs. So things like music, reading etc, just help them to like balance the scales in their lives. I really really love music. Its my passion though i dont know how to sing or dance but i listen to all kinds of music depending on my mood. Gospel music has all my attention. I play all sorts of Gospels songs on my pc at work all day. Big up to y'all!!!! wink wink smiley cheesy grin kiss

Food is another passion. My friends still wonder how i manage to be in shape despite the way i love to eat. I love good food and hate to cook. My nickname is FFO(for food only) funny rite? well no be their fault. I no blame them, no be who dey healthy dey fit chop?
Romance / Re: Bank Babe On My Neck by Kaliyat(f): 5:36pm On Jun 01, 2007
Na wa o. Me too i didnt see any reference to the particular bank where she works. Anyway, i admire your self control. Just let her know u are serious abt your relationship with your girlfriend and dont want anything that will jeopardise it. Be subtle in your approach but if she proves difficult then handle her the way she deserves. GOODLUCK DUDE!!!
Romance / Re: Can You Marry A Man Shorter Than You? by Kaliyat(f): 5:59pm On May 26, 2007
Whether short or tall, a man is a man. All I need is a man that will love, cherish and understand me. I am 5.9" and my guy is 6.2" we are a perfect couple and I believe I will still love him if he was 5.5". It's not just the physical appearance that matters, it is the inner man, what that person entails. Ladies lets not be so so decieved by all those M&B characters and fail in being happy in life. Peace y'all. wink wink wink grin

Religion / Re: The Death Of Pastor Eskor Mfon Of RCCG by Kaliyat(f): 4:55pm On May 16, 2007
I am hearing of him for the first time too. I believe with all the comments that he was a true man of God and I believe that he is now resting with the Lord.

May the good Lord grant him eternal rest in His bossom and my warmest condolence go to his family and the entire members of RCCG.

ADIEU PASTOR ESKOR MFON!!! cry cry cry cry
Romance / Re: Why Dump Your Friends For A Lover? by Kaliyat(f): 5:20pm On May 12, 2007
Well, i think friends will always be friend but it depends on where u place them when u get married. Some friends might want to interfere with your marital life like ill advising you on issues based on their singles point of view which does not align with your married status. I love my friends but I think I will draw a line when I get married-its not as if I will cut off all my dealings with them, its just that I will be more careful cos my husband takes first priority for now.

It will be hard for them to accept but that is how it should be. wink smiley undecided
Romance / Re: Would You Want To Know If Your Partner Is Cheating? by Kaliyat(f): 11:05pm On May 11, 2007
A cheating partner i cannot stand. I dont cheat and dont expect to be cheated upon. Its quite unfurtunate. God made a man and a woman. How can we humans now have extra? Well, its a worldwide phenomenon. But its better to be honest in a relationship sha! It will hurt if i find out but i will like to know the reason why am being cheated upon and sort the problem out if possible if not then i end the relationship. PERIOD!!!!!!!!!!!!! PEACE. grin wink cool
Romance / Re: Can You Sleep Over In A Boyfriend's Place Or Live With Him? by Kaliyat(f): 2:37pm On May 01, 2007
sleep over yes but live in no. I think when my guy resides in a different state and i travel to visit him, it will be pointless lodging in a hotel but if he visits me, we can stay at a hotel. That is still sleeping over right? It depends on how u see it sha.

peace y'all
Family / Re: What Rights Has Your Wife Over Your Mobile Handset Or Vice Versa? by Kaliyat(f): 1:19pm On May 01, 2007
Except if its a joint business line, if not then one should mind his/her business and stay away from the other's cell. am not married and i have never for once ventured to pick my man's phone, the only time i looked into his fone was wen he took a pix of my ass and i had to see it (he offered to show it to me). of course i ordered him to delete it immediately. privacy is very vital (dem say wetin u no know no dey kill u). Peace y'all.
Career / Re: Secretaries (Or Personal Assistants) On Nairaland by Kaliyat(f): 7:41pm On Apr 30, 2007
hello everyone, this forum is indeed great. I really appreciate all the advice and responses. Its wonderful to know that there are secretaries that love their jobs. I am a secretary in a Church, though the job is hectic but i love doing what i do and am proud to be a secretary. I dont face the challenge of harrassment from my Boss cos he is a Pastor, but the greatest challenge i face is that of members coming for counseling at the wrong time and i always have to tell them to come at the dates chosen for counseling and prayers. They always believe i should grant them audience with boss but he is always occupied with either sermon notes or guests from outside the church. Explaining to those people that Pastor is busy at the moment is like looking for a needle in a hay sack. But am glad there is a forum like this where we can all share our challenges on the job and the excitements too.

Big up to everyone. Mypeace i appreciate what u have started. Kudos to you. I admire you alot.

Well, well, well. After all said and done, I think you need to really sit down and ask yourself whether u can live with him all your life. I mean a man who cheats, He does not deserve you girl.
