Family / Re: My Friend Consistently Beats Up Her Mum! by Kaliyat(f): 10:20am On Apr 17, 2008
I think she has a mental problem. If her mother knows what is good for her, she should report to the police and ask them to take her to a mental institution for proper treatment cos one day, she will kill her and go free cos they might test her and find out she is suffering from insanity.

Also pray for her. She needs that right now!

I have been applying to be Initiated for over 15 years now but God answer me this year am greatful.

What an achievement for you Bro. I think you need deliverance seriously. I just want to believe you are joking sha.

Well, as for me, this year has been the best for me so far. More investments, raise in my salary, met the most wonderful man and planning to get married early next year, good health, divine favour; the list goes on and on. Praise be to the Almighty God for his wonderous love and mercies.

Family / Re: Are You The First Born In Your Family? by Kaliyat(f): 1:08pm On Nov 20, 2007
I'm a first-born and there is no good story to write home about being a first-born. It's worst when u are working and all the younger ones are still in school. It's either they need money to buy a new text book or they want recharge cards and so on, But it makes one responsible and most times accountable for his/her actions because some younger ones like copying their elder sis/bros' actions. I got nine younger ones and It's a hell of a responsibility I've got on me. WHEWWW!!!!

Fashion / Re: Skimpy Dressers: Confidently Shy, Stupid, Or What? by Kaliyat(f): 11:25am On Oct 11, 2007
The problem we have with dressing is that most people or rather 'girls' watch all this american music videos and want to imitate their dressing not knowing those artists only wear those clothes to shoot those videos, that at home or in their normal lives they dont dress like that. We have to really work hard on our mentality in this country. We too like copy-copy. It is really disgusting, most especially when u see a fat girl wearing a bare bottom jean trouser with a short top exposing her tummy. U cant even see the waist band of the jean sef. Its really DIGUSTING!!!!

So ladies, lets be modest in our dressing and earn the respect we deserve. Like I heard: YOU ARE ADDRESSED THE WAY THE YOU DRESS (or whatever).

@michelin89 you did not 'got it' anything. Shine your eyes well well bro. the empty space that is the sky is actually the baby, on the left you have the eyes and towards the right you have the legs. the top contains the baby's arms. its awesome. That shows how wonderful our GOD is. He is a great artist.

Romance / Re: Clubbing After Marriage by Kaliyat(f): 12:56pm On Jul 13, 2007
I've never been to a club all my life and my BF does not go to club either, so I think it will be a club-free relationship for us both. But I dont see anything wrong in a couple who are used to clubbing to once in a while have some fun.
Romance / Re: Why Are You Still Single? by Kaliyat(f): 10:40pm On Jul 12, 2007

I think the guy should go to Benue State in Nigeria. I learnt the ladies there are gigantic and muscular, since he doesnt want body builders. With all the pounded yam they eat there, they should match his specifications.

Family / Re: What Is The Value Of A Woman Who Can't Cook? by Kaliyat(f): 5:32pm On Jun 12, 2007
wheeewwwwww I'm beginning to have a terrible headache after reading all the bla bla bla from you guys.

1. Ladies! Ladies!! Ladies!!! Please read Prov. 30:15. " She riseth also while it is yet night, and giveth meat (food) - (for emphasis)  to her household, and a portion to her maidens" It is talking about a virtuous woman.

We should not let the rising tide of feminism sweep us off our feet and dump us on the wrong side of the sea. We are women and whatever status we get to, we are still responsible for the upkeep of the family which includes cooking and so on. Please, don't misunderstand me, am not trying to be on the GUYS' side, I read thru all the replies from the beginning to the last one by nyabinghi and I feel all your concerns, but I still think, no matter what degrees we have, we are still the women of the home and it is our sole objective to cater for the home foodwise.

As for you GUYS it should not be a sole priority (KNOWING HOW TO COOK)but atleast just a bonus to the already fabulous package.

And please, we just drop the animosity and be good Nigerians who love Peace and Unity. This is just a forum not a war front.  grin wink wink wink wink wink

Romance / Re: Is It True That Marriage Is A Capital Intensive Project? by Kaliyat(f): 12:19pm On Jun 07, 2007
@shinkafi, I dont think you should concern yourself with wedding expenses. You can take ur bride to church or mosque-whichever ,and take her away immediately after the vows and all what not. You know, the way they do it in the movies, just prepare pepper soup for ur guest and ride away with ur amarya (bride) to God knows where which does not require any huge expense at all.

Good luck bro.

Any body that wants to do "owambe" shd contribute his own money so that u guys can throw a bash afterwards.lol grin grin grin grin grin wink wink

what is that in her hand? I hope its not a bottle of acid she is trying to bathe him with. She actually looks scary what with those gloves, she probably does not want to leave finger prints all over the guy after the act.

Just my honest observation and opinion that's all undecided undecided
