Did not take much look at the pictures 'cause looked like those I have seen before but yeah. .

I have seen many of them. .

I have not disputed anyone's appearance but to say if you go to a certain culture you will notice certain similarities to their looks. . There is not anything wrong with that and in the end it shows the diversity of Africans in regards to looks. .

^^Of all the pictures you post showing sudan's diversity, I have never seen you post images of Dinkas and that is even before the separation. .

Some here will like to attribute one look to Sudanese people lol!! (Tpia and kandikane)! I gave them an example of reema major who is from Darfur who doesn't look like they would want Sudanese people to look!

u cannot post a random picture and expect me to start guessing. who does that? apart from nerds on the internet who have studied random pictures on the internet but not the real people? i only identify people based on names, accents, tribals marks and maybe traditional or religious attires they are wearing.

Alright, then if you can only identify people by names, accents or tribals marks there are others who can identify  by looks. .

If you can class him as hausa that means that means its his looks. If you meet him in the streets for the first time and you notice he looks hausa won't you think he is Nigerian?

Seriously, If you come to Nigeria and you shut your mouth no one would be able to differentaite you from any other girl on the street.

Per the topic. I dont agree that looks are per country maybe per subregion e.g the West African look, the East African look, the Southern African look.

E.g The whites split us arbitrarily, Those in Benin/Togo could have easily been Nigerians and those in Calabar/ Ebonyi could have easily been camerounians if only the Europeans woke up differently on that morning of 1922.

Some features like heights e.g Savanah negroes are noticeably taller than forest negroes

E.g Negros can be split into Mandingo looking and the bantu looking ones bantu are shorter, fairer more rotund while mandingo are skinnier, taller and Darker

So which one is the mandingo? But anyways, I did stand out. . It is hard to place me to a certain area. .But yeah Nigeria, congo and East Africa is what people will say based of my skintone or features when I say I am African. .

^^There are actually many Nigerians in Gambia and senegal but akon's look is visibly senegalese. .

That is incorrect. .Akon looks like a typical senegalese, unless you believe hausas and senegalese look alike. .You say you cannot tell what someone looks like but you just said akon and many senegalses look hausa. .

Gambia and senegal use to be one but you can tell who is from Gambia or Senegal. .

Well now I guess many who study features can tell who is apparently from somewhere. Since these days, there are not that much tribal markings animistic religions etc etc people now identify by looks.  . It is no biggie. . Many people can identify Nigerians because of there dominance in an area. .i.e hackney in london if you have lived with and seen many Nigerians you can identify one if you go to a different area. .


Many people cannot identify Sierra leoneans, Gambians or Senegalese because people don't look at those countries but when I spot one in the streets I try to hear them speak and most of the time  they are what I first thought. . . .

If you had read the whole thread you would see where its been said. .

He is but that is what I mean although he is norwegian he has that look that many relate to german. .Just giving an example of how one could look from a certain area(because of how many are seen with that type of look in that area) but turns out to be from somewhere different. .
I might be wrong but looking at eitreans and somalis(they have some similar features) but I believe Eritrean tend to be more lighter and have thick curlier hair than many somalis(Somalis skintone tend to range between brown, light brown, red or golden brown). . Ethiopians look a bit different from somalis. .

^^I am sure the op wants you guys to click your age group as to determine in the end the most active age group. .

^^I agree, just like many Africans can identify someone from somewhere, Many europeans also can identify who is from where. . The german look is said to be blonde hair, pale skin, cheekbones and pointed nosed(teutonic features)-This look is not just designated to germans and there are people in germany with strong features , brown hair/black hair but a white person who is use to germans will get use to the facial features and will be able to see a german and tell a german . .See that guy that bombed and shot those people. .Typical german face. .If you have watched the movie "jerusalem" with orlando bloom  one of the guy in there is made to be german, typical german features. .

There has always been a recognition among various ethnic groups of people that certain groups have characteristic facial features.

looks like 25-30 is majority. .All you old, wrinkled and grey haired people. .ahaha
