OK, heading looking kind of bead right, yea, my bad but this is one issue I have seen so many People complain of. Gone are the days when we just have to be conscious of just our ATM pin that people can now access your account when they have access to your Pin. I never believed in that though even till today. But the issue of giving out ATM is one I can attest to as being real. 1. SHOPPING ONLINE: With your ATM card, you can easily shop online from anyplace in the Country. Now I want to break this clearly. Your ATM card has 16 Digit number at the front part of the card depending if it is MasterCard, Visa or verve but it always come with a pin. Looking at the back of that card is another important digit. This digit is known as the onions (Card verification value). With this pin and your card number, everything is settled. Those involved in internet marketing can attest to this. 2. SCAM JOBS: This is same story with No. 1 but in different format. Somebody that has an idea on internet stuff can easily use your account to fulfill his mission. Most Hosting companies, Domain registrar and the rest of them make use of your card number and pin so you know what that means when the scammer get hold of your details, he would use it to purchase tons of domain till your account blinks and might even use it to start his own domain registration company lol. There are so many other things that can be achieved with this details which I won’t advice you to learn after you must have fallen victim for this. How to prevent falling victim for this ? It’s very simple. By safeguarding your card just the way we keep our pin ,is the best solution to this. We can no longer trust people in this generation anymore. Hey Nairalanders! One of the most common excuses for most people for not taking action and getting their online business started is "I don't have the time". Sorry but this is simply a lame excuse considering how most people spend their time everyday. The average person living in the Nigeria spends about 40 hours a week watching TV, and watching videos on their Computers, phones , and I-pads. In other words the average Nigerian spends an average of a full work week watching Television or other videos. That is a lot of time. So what is really going on here? Why do some people say that they do not have time to start their internet business? Here's what happens: hey will wake up early in the morning, go to work, work for 9 hours, leave work and then go for a drink with their friends or sit in front of the couch watching television till midnight on autopilot. Then they go to bed and repeat the same process again. And they wonder why life is hard on them and as a result blame their employees, the government or other people for their current financial situation. The truth is some people are just not serious enough about their financial situation and their life in the long term. I am not going to bullshit, starting an online business is not all roses and daisies. There are times where it is going to be hard, and T there are times when you are going to want to give up. But you have to go into it with a warrior mentality, and never stop until you become successful. So when someone say's they do not have time to start their online business, its not a lack of time ,rather it is a lack of time management. Note that : 86% of millionaires are self made These people didn't say they don't have the time, they didn't sit hours a day in front of the tube. They did what they had to do and got on their grind every day. They spent the majority of their time working on their goals. So what is the lesson? Simple. Hustle. Hustle everyday, and find the time necessary to build your business, even if that means cutting off cable and taking a course time management, As Jack Ma said : Never give up. Today is hard, tomorrow will be worse, but the day after tomorrow will be sunshine. To your Online Success! -John Taiwo |
This is a great ambition and a great vision. It is 100% possible! No one can stop you in achieving this if you dont stop yourself. What to do is to start a business, build it into a company, and have the most share of the company. Zuckerberg only has 28% of facebook. Note: This must be a business that evolve from your passion. It doesn't take a year or 2 to become that, Dangote revealed that tenacity i.e staying in business for a very long time gave him an edge. So, you have to stay in the business not giving up no matter the odds. Keep learning..... Don't have a solid plan alone, but take SOLID ACTION!!. It's calls for a huge responsibility to do that. Keep focus, take action and have the mind to reach not only Nigerians alone but the world at large. Remember: The sky is the starting point. May God help you and shower on you his anointing for prosperity. Never give up, i love your great ambition. |
Ted TurnerChip Somodevilla/GettyBillionaire Ted Turner is responsible for major television networks including CNN. Said, The hardest part of becoming a billionaire isn't keeping tabs on your accounts, finding friends and employees you can trust, or juggling the demands on your deep pockets. It's getting started. At least, that was the hardest part for media magnate and billionaire Ted Turner. In "Billionaires: Reflections On The Upper Crust," Darrell M. West recalls Turner's 1995 address to Brown University, where West was teaching political science. West describes a key point in Turner's presentation: His most difficult challenge, he said, had been making the first million dollars; after that, everything was easy. Money begets money, he bluntly observed, thereby making it possible to gain even greater wealth through social and political connections. West uses this comment as a jumping off point for a discussion of how the wealthiest citizens in the US wield undue influence on its government. "This, of course, is the crux of the controversy about the role of billionaires in society," he writes. Not every recollection from Turner's visit to Brown was so heavy, however: He also talked about raising Buffalo in Montana, and joked that his favorite part of ranch life was the ability to "take a whiz" off his front porch. Chief Moshood Kashimawo Olawale Abiola (24 August 1937 – 7 July 1998), often referred to as M. K. O. Abiola, was a popular Nigerian Yoruba businessman, publisher, politician and aristocrat of the Yoruba Egba clan. He ran for the presidency in 1993, and is widely regarded as the presumed winner of the inconclusive election since no official final results were announced. He died in 1998, after being denied victory when the entire election results were dubiously annulled by the preceding military president Ibrahim Babangida because of alleged evidence that they were corrupt and unfair. Early life Moshood Kashimawo Olawale Abiola was born in Abeokuta, Ogun State.[1] His name, Kashimawo, means "Let us wait and see".[2] Moshood Abiola was his father's twenty-third child but the first of his father's children to survive infancy, hence the name 'Kashimawo'. It was not until he was 15 years old that he was properly named Moshood, by his parents. MKO showed entrepreneurial talents at a very young age, at the age of nine he started his first business selling firewood. He would wake up at dawn to go to the forest and gather firewood, which he would then cart back to town and sell before going to school, to support his old father and his siblings. He later founded a band at age fifteen where he would perform at various ceremonies in exchange for food. He eventually became famous enough to start demanding payment for his performances and used the money to support his family and his secondary education at the Baptist Boys High School Abeokuta, where he excelled. He was the editor of the school magazine The Trumpeter, Olusegun Obasanjo was deputy editor. At the age of 19 he joined the National Council of Nigeria and the Cameroons ostensibly because of its stronger pan-Nigerian origin compared with the Obafemi Awolowo-led Action Group. As of January 2015, Dangote had an estimated net worth of US$18.6 billion. He made his fortune is cement, sugar and flour. In April 2014, months before oil prices plunged, he announced $9 billion in financing from a consortium of local and international lenders to construct a private oil refinery and fertilizer and petrochemical complex in the country. In August 2014 he said he would invest $1 billion in commercial rice farming and modern rice mills. His publicly traded Dangote Cement is also grabbing new markets in Africa, with $750 million in new plants planned for Kenya and Niger. His net worth tumbled from $25 billion in February 2014 as a result of a weaker Nigerian currency and a drop in demand for cement. He made his first fortune more than three decades ago when he started trading commodities with a loan from his powerful uncle. Dangote worked for his uncle, Sani Dangote. He served his master diligently. He acted in accordance to the statement which says if you must lead, you must serve. It was while working for his uncle that he gathered experience, skills and confidence. Aliko Dangote started his business with the NGN 500,000 loan he took from his uncle/master. He approached his uncle in 1977 and told him about his plan to establish a business outfit and his uncle gave him the loan to start the business. However, he was given a 2years-deadline and he repaid the loan in 6 months. Sugar, rice, pasta, salt, cotton, millet, cocoa, textile and vegetable oil were the commodities he started his business with. He was importing these commodities into Nigeria. Since production is not complete until the goods reach the final consumer, Dangote developed a strong distribution channel that made his goods delivered faster than his competitors’ goods. After some years in his importation business, Aliko Dangote transformed into a producer of products he was importing. In one of his statements, he revealed that changing from an importer to a manufacturer has so far been his best move. The move produced Dangote Group, an organization that controls over 13 companies. Dangote built a vibrant brand for his business. He corroborated this during an interview by saying “to succeed in business, you must build a brand and never destroy it. One competitive advantage I had when I ventured into manufacturing was my brand (Dangote), which I diligently built in the course of my trading.” In his mission to gain the loyalty of his customers, Dangote started selling his competitive products at cheaper rates compared to his competitors’ rates. Dangote’s networking skills and ability to make unprecedented connections made him record the major breakthrough he needed for the prosperity of his business. His break through emerged when he acquired the license to import cement. As an astute businessman, Alhaji Aliko Dangote spends most of his time strategizing and brainstorming on how to grow his business. Reports have it that he sleeps by 2:00 am and wakes up by 5:00 am everyday. Can you beat that? Unlike other cunning businessmen, Dangote is an upright man as far as abiding by the rules and regulations governing the ethics of business are concerned. He keeps his credit records as well as his tax records tidy and he preaches that business should be done as stipulated by the regulatory bodies. Africa’s richest man Alhaji Aliko Dangote is the most successful businessman of the continent. His business is presented in a lot of countries. DO YOU WANT TO KNOW DANGOTE'S WEALTH SECRET OF $23BILLION? See it here!!! =>> http://dangotewealthsecret..com/2015/06/dangotes-wealth-secret-revealed.html What other thing do you think gave Alinko Dangote an edge amidst of his business counterparts ![]() Drop your opinion below. |
