It happens.
The same exact thing happened to my senior brother.
Was married for about 10 years without knowing the wife was positive.
4 children later in 2019 ,she collapsed and went into coma and never woke up.
It was from the hospital report that we realised she was positive and unfortunately the last born was too.

HIV does not kill abruptly just like that.
