SpencerForbes: If multiple people are saying the same thing about your behavior, the common denominator is you. They say where there is smoke, there is fire. If it’s just one person, it might be a grudge; but once it’s a group, you need to check yourself . It’s time for some honest self-reflection. Even the Good Book acknowledges the weight of multiple witnesses.
You’ve already ruled out the "they hate me because I’m hardworking" excuse by mentioning your character yourself.
To get a clear picture of the situation, you need to tell us the specific traits they find problematic. Without the full details, it’s impossible to judge whether they are being unfair or if you truly need a personality overhaul. Until you open up on the "why," we’re just scratching the surface. Boss, there are also many cases where everyone can be wrong and you are right. We don't talk about it enough but it's more common than we think. A clear example is Nigeria's presidential political choices in the last decade. |

Maybe you should try and introspect to see what you can change about your life.
Times like that are usually a wake up call as everyone cannot really hate you at the same time. Its either they are all bad or you are just a horrible person. More often than not, it is the former but there are also cases where everyone but you can be wrong, against the popular belief. It has happened throughout history and I have also experience it.
Try to see your job as just a job, its not your life especially for a job that your colleagues don't like you. If faking it will give you a little bit of grace from others then play the game but make sure you don't lose yourself in the process because there are too many yes men in workplaces.

Romance › Re: Name One Mistake You've Made In 2025 So Someone Else Doesn’t Make It In 2026 by Karleb(m): 11:56am On Dec 12, 2025 |
pansophist: If you must help someone, make sure you don’t help them beyond their capability. I will narrate an experience I learnt bitterly from.
So I had this extended family I grew up with, like a brother to me. His parents were poor, but as kids, social status wasn’t a barrier in our relationship.
He always struggled with money, and have mostly being doing menial job that can’t even sustain him to the next month.
So I helped him leveled up. I devised a plan that will elevate him to the next stage, and give him a healthy head start.
I paired him up with someone to rent a 2 bedroom flat together and paid his part, bought a car from a friend and gave to him to run uber, giving him a healthy head start so he can sort his life out.
All he has to do is just work and save, and from next year when the rent end, renews it and live responsibly. This was in 2019. He has no expense except fuel the car, and normal car expenses.
But this guy suddenly felt like he has arrived, and all he did with the car was carry girls up and down, work only when he feels like and was flexing. Sometimes the car will break down due to his recklessness, and I’ll help him repair it.
Until a year later when it was time to renew his rent, and he doesn’t have any money. He wasted the opportunity he had, and was expecting me to renew the rent for him.
I was furious. I didn’t renew the rent, he was chased out of the house, but I left the car for him. Few months later, he sold the car and went back square one being poor and doing menial jobs.
Then I learnt a lesson that you can’t elevate a person more than their ability. You can believe a chicken can fly, but if you lift it up and leave it, it will fly back to the ground.
So if you choose to help someone, don’t help more than their capabilities or in such a way that it leads to a break down of relationships, because you assume everyone can exploit opportunities when they find one.
Giving him urgent 2k would have been better, and at least we would still be in good terms. But my idea to level him up made me lost money, a brother, a learnt a bitter lesson.
It makes me understood clearly the biblical “parable of the talents” in Mathew 25:14-30. Where the master gave talents to three of his servants, and the last one came with excuses while he couldn’t doubled his talent like the rest.
We are all humans and created in the image of God, but thinking we are all equal in capabilities is nonsense. You can't love someone more than they love themself. |

The real question is what revenue increase will those new features bring? A lot of tech folks just think about technical without evaluating the cost-benefit.
What value does direct messaging bring for example? It will increase cost. How much revenue will it bring?
Anyone wey wan run e forum make dem run am with all their fancy features. Body go tell them.
Seun, that doesn’t mean you won’t add features o. For example, the block feature, I don’t understand the three week limit. Allow me block monikers until I unblock them. Also FP posts authored by monikers I block should not be visible on FP when I’m logged in. Some of the monikers here are toxic and need to be blocked for a life time+99 years You will have to wait 10 years for that. |

SultanOfPuna: If you want to enjoy and live long in Africa You must become a Hypocrite.
Nigeria is like a Masked Party The losers are those who attended the party with their real face. You must wear mask to survive.
Nigeria is a place where a woman who has done 6 abortions will be claiming virgin and preaching No SEX before marriage.
Rev. Father's knacking up and down Everybody doing opposite of what they preach Everybody is wearing a mask. Na the honest ones dey suffer. The real ones. The ones that quickly show their emotion.
Hypocrisy is the code of our existence in Africa. Know this and know peace He's telling the truth. |

I think the only thing that would make a woman or anyone go straight to physical violence with you every time there's an issue is if they know that they you can do absolutely nothing about it.
You should not be anyone's footmat in the name of love.
