A cross deal would have sufficed but...
Yoursfaithful:
But madam , I don't think its oga Emma that caused the fall ...the phobia is already on social media even before oga Emma released his Analysis..the whole problem started from the Corporate disclosure from ZICHIS MD..who does that ..you came to the market in less than 6months to raise capital and all of a sudden you start selling part of your holdings..what's impression is she creating to investors you're begging to come and invest in your company. Md sold at 36naira and would expect a non investor to buy at 43naira ..someone that its part of her daily life and has insider knowledge about everything going on there sold off after almost 4000% and you expect a novice like me to the company to come and pack same stocks at 43naira..haba now..the MD caused the whole thing..atleast she ought to have shown workings enough even a minimum of 2yrs or 3yrs before selling part of her holdings and not immediately after listing..no be mugu dey this market now

They will definitely price in some premium. Aside being the BIGGEST listing, it's probably the most anticipated, in the history of NSE/NGX... smiley

I hope it will be very liquid from Day 1

Make una no vex grin

ositadima1:
LOL, so you don’t understand how a Ponzi works? As long as it is moving up, people are willing to buy and clear the sellers. Do you know that on Monday, over ₦700 million exchanged hands, most of it at 40.35?

The moment the price stops moving up, everybody will try to exit. Yesterday, in the early hours, people were even bidding at 42/43 sef. The moment they saw the huge supply side, those guys immediately started pulling their bids. Before you know it, full offer, lol.

Do you think people buying at 40.35 wanted to hold it long term? I bet they only wanted to hold for a few percent gain and bale. Now they are trapped because of you and Oga Ema.

grin grin grin

Madam yMcy56
If I may drop my 2cents, you should not allow paper loss create unnecessary friction. I am a proud TRADINVESTOR. cool

I recall vividly when I announced I was selling UBA (after the no DIV announcement), you said we were panicking and overanalyzing (in your words, analysis paralysis grin )

@ the bolded, it is very true! We have all been wrong on several occasions but that should not stop us from dropping [and receiving] hints as events unfold and metrics change.
Maybe, just maybe, you should view comments/suggestions with a open mind...

yMcy56:
I know you'll all be filling out one by one to defend him......but do know this that none of you can silence me....
No be today nah...
He knows very well what I'm talking about...

Emotional.....so be it!

He's an investor and we can't all sleep and face one side.....
Traders will always do their things either you like it or not.

Make una continue whining and bringing up defence.

When he's marketing a stock, thats the best thing that can happen in NGX but when the stock is not his type, he starts talking them down....

Well, we've seen instances where he was wrong about some stocks, they defied all his calculations and still went ahead to put smiles on people's faces.
He's always wanting to justify that "I told you so".......but Mr.Market no send him on some occasions.

Same here.

There might be a spinoff later on after the expansion of the refinery to 1.4m bpd
GeneralDae:
You are right. I would have preferred he listed the fertiliser separately though.
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by KarlTom: 3:46pm On May 12
That valuation is generally understood to cover: the current 650,000 bpd refinery (not sure the expansion is included), petrochemicals plants, storage/logistics infrastructure and possibly associated midstream assets.

GeneralDae:
$50 Billion?? Isn’t that an overvaluation? Anyway, we wait and see.

What should I do about it so that it won't just be creating false hope in the portfolio?
