The SP has to be pushed above ₦50 for full participation. Although some people might be oblivious of the fact that the QD has passed... Conspiracy theory says the Cowboys might suppress the price to discourage shareholders and clear [or reduce] the debts after mopping up the rights... feelamong: Is this why Oando has good bids for its shares today? |

Following submission of the Application to the NGX, the qualification date for participation in the Rights Issue by shareholders in line with the Rules and Regulations of the Securities and Exchange Commission, Nigeria is set as 13 February 2026 (“NGX Record Date”), irrespective of further regulatory approval processes required in finalising the Rights Offer...emmanuelewumi: Oando's 1 for 2 right offer at N50 per share |

The split/reconstruction was 20 for 1 so ₦800 is possible. I got in at sub ₦5000 emmanuelewumi: That should be about N80, they had a stock split of 10 to 1 prior to listing on NGX |

Let the market decide naa. We still have over 4hours of trading to go. It's not a competition on who predicted right or not. We all can see that the 'green' is shaky (albeit better than a full offer scenario)... yMcy56: Meanwhile, UBA turned green 💚 📈 Closed yesterday @44.55 Now @45.....45.50...
On top all the posts to dissuade some from selling on Mon/Tuesday, yet they chose to follow naysayers.... It's well. |

Technically speaking. Inside loans sucked the juice (dividends) and left the 'shell'... emmanuelewumi: They are not shell holders.
Shareholders of dead stocks are called shell holders |

DAMN! megawealth01: Almost 190m offer... Una no get joy at all for UBA because of common dividends
But seriously UBA should be punished more than this just like MTN was punished 2 years ago so they can sit up |

Still expecting mine. ghm: Just got my NASCON and GTCO dividends. Honestly it is sweet. I now understand clearly the reaction to UBA zero dividend, the impact is real, UBA is no longer dividend Aristocrat! Simple! |

I'm courting ARADEL Shalom428: UBA Right Issue was N50 , I am sure it will touch N40 on the floor tomorrow before any reversal, that is if any reversal go even happen at all tomorrow. Zenith Bank did RI, GTCO did RI , we all know how much they are all trading on the floor today.
Transcorp will remain the way it is for the next 2 years unless Ote or another Billionaire launch another hostile takeover stunt
SEPLAT is the new Bride.
BILLIONAIRES in the house, abeg we need 100K unit to move DangCem. Please help our ministry. All these money una dey share , make e reach our side too |

Do not cancel the order I experienced something similar yesterday after I dropped from #3 to #95 (my offer was eventually filled)... jonnysessy: Good day great investors. I was able to offer all my UBA stocks during the pre market ( fastest fingers first (fff) In fact, i was number 17 on the tray. I was surprised that only 7,000 was sold and i was taken down on queue to #98. I thought it is a first come first serve, hence am surprised that only a paltry units of 7,000 was sold. I await who know how this works as i don't think it will get to my turn again.
But, tomorrow will be another date to offload UBA. I can even buy MEYER paint that is ready to pay N0.45k. I am a dividend investor. |

Technically, you have a point. However, it's basic shareholder logic to know that OS will determine the DPS HesInMe: I've never really understood why people care so much about share count when comparing valuation across firms. It's utterly meaningless on its own.
Value is value whether you syndicate it with 1,000 shares or 1 billion shares. Surely investors can do the simple arithmetic. |
