Very crazy! FIRSTHOLDCO sef dey collect Sunrisepebble: I think this is what he should do tbh. Tomorrow he should buy like 100-200mn units and put out a disclosure. Only thing that can save the share price. Just like Adaora did with Zenith last year. 200mn+ offers is crazy |

Thank you so much. People think antecedents should be outrightly forgotten... Every mallam to his kettleaj8: Even if it's going to 140, still best to see Q1 before buying anything. How many of the big banks have learned their lesson? Have we forgotten the past so soon? Impairments don't just happen..they were a series of bad judgments which without a strong regulatory agency would still have been baggages. I choose to wait till I see Q1above 7 and decide whether to load up or wait for a much lower price…maybe 90. |

We are all entitled to our opinion(s). Continue your campaign... EDUECO: I don't think Dangote Cement,Seplat,BUA Cement,Okomu,Presco and Nestle can even boast of ₦ 2 Trillion as Shareholders' funds; and some persons believe profits from bank are not real profit.
Nigerian international banks are the best companies in the NGX. In the next 20 years,I am very sure they will continue to perform. |

If we ride with this narrative, who loses at the end of the day? 6.7bn units heldBabsO2: I suspect he’s also not happy with shareholders as he was left to shoulder a huge chunk of the rights. |

Likely from foreign subsidiaries/conglomerates. I haven't checked Q1'26 though... BabsO2: UBA still grew TOTAL customer deposits by 10.4% which is just about the same rate Zenith grew customer deposits. UBA total customer deposits is double that of GTB.
If you look purely at only day to day customers UBA even grew deposits better than Zenith.
These are vote of confidence signs by customers to UBA’s banking services. |

Do not play down the situation. Things are [actually] very bad. UBA did not meet the CBN criterion for payment of dividend and it calls for self-appraisal... yMcy56: Things might not be worst as people are over analyzing here.. Rise in prices wasn't and isn't about dividends alone... Make una no give yourselves unnecessarily heart attack over UBA's result... If Tony can address shareholders, the press or drop a press release just like Otedola did, it will douse tension.... After one or two days, the price may stabilize.... We've been in this market before..... His boys may storm the market to stabilize the share price....... He has done it before......let's see how this is again handled. When STANBIC declared below expectation dividend, it was punished for one or two days, stabilize, then started moving up again. It's well.
