Would one rather not declare profits for the company and cause the share price to go up and thus the value of his X% or so equity/stocks in the same company? or worse still, sell 0.000001% of his shares to enjoy?

Let's talk about Aradel. I prefer this Aradel talk than Oando.

Will Aradel fall further on Monday or will it pull back?
designking:
Yes ooh... Every die na die. No retreat no surrender.

It is a gamble I am willing to take. I have a gut felling it is going to bounce back before close of the month. It is more profitable to me if it keeps Deeping 10% daily till it gets to ₦150.

I am fully for LOC breaking that IOC glass ceiling but this OandO matter defies market logic.

Was it Raider who said that the "regulators are not that brave" grin

I feel OandO will resume trading tomorrow but what about Q1 - Q3 huh

Yes, they should, unless other SEC/NGX requirements have not been met.

Permission to copy and modify... smiley
ositadima1:
Yes, but it's personal code and you probably won't understand it as it lacks comments. In fact, I wrote this in 2020 and never bothered to make any updates since it works. There are 3 scripts in there:

1. The first script takes the PDF from the downloads folder (after downloading from email) and moves it to a folder where I keep the Morgan's daily PDFs.

2. The second script renames the PDF and adds the date based on the date within the PDF.

3. The third script does the main work - it stores the data for each stock in CSV format. So every day, after running these 3 scripts, it will find the CSV belonging to each stock, update it, and save.

Once you have CSV files with daily data, you can call them in other scripts to do whatever analysis you want.

Important notes:
- You'll need packages already installed like matplotlib and PyPDF4, etc.
- You may need to create a text file with the same title as specified in the program for day tracking (to avoid entering the same day more than once)

These are the things I can remember. Or when I have time, I could make it into a standalone executable. Like I said, it works, so I don't bother with improvements. Alternatively, you can build your own from scratch using parts of my code as guidelines.

Fair warning: The code is messy. Don't say I didn't warn you!

I'm trying to understand you.

If a call was made for DANGSUGAR at ₦20.
Whoever heed that call will be sitting on at least 50% profit today...

Let's stop these personal attacks. It is negative for the progress of current members and future members of this thread... smiley

OandO

Personally I remain bullish about this company.
One key reason is the assets of the NAOC deal includes some outstanding revenue of circa €400m (85% of €472m) which did not appear in the FY 2023.

Check the SC in the quoted post

I don't think we can get a full, up-to-date picture of the status of OandO until we receive Q3 & FY 24.

Until then... wink

KarlTom:
The bolded was not explicitly stated but they indicated that NAOC (and a few others) was having an impact on the Group's Financials mainly because their partners AND NNPC were owing / not fulfilling their part of the agreement.
Some other reasons for their exit were also stated (see attached SC)... wink

I don't blame them they have their reputation to protect.

Even after E & Y, Oando could not get another big 5 to audit their account and had to appoint BDO

I believe so.
E&Y resigned in July 2022 (around the time of the SoA and delisting issues).
BDO were appointed shortly after...

With OandO, the more you stare the less you see grin

I am of the opinion that the previous auditor would have written a more damaging report.
