You get better sense... wink

helinues:
Toh

Just wondering why some people can't resolve whatever without massaging themselves egos. What's the big deal in the honourable man to also come down from the car/from his gate and take his order? Was he really hungry?

Sometimes ago, I was passing bye at night, a guy was in front of me holding this plastic cup, while trying to pass him, someone pushed me from the back while I pushed the guy holding the cup, the content was hot tea, so almost half poured away. The guy looked back angrily and poured the remaining hot tea on me, I looked at him, laughed and Waka.

To start with, I can't just imagine how much a jog of the tea would cost that I can't afford to buy back not to talk of a cup if he had questioned maturely why did I push him.

Secondly, such kind of person was ready for trouble, I ain't so I avoided it

Common sense should be applicable in some situations

@ madam you did not respond to this.See penny stocks
C and I leasing
JAIZBANK and sanu which I saw at #1.20 which would have given 100% in my 1million challenge. When I was ready it was already hitting #1.70

You see japaul and elleh two beautiful nonsense. Thr books have shown how Mr time can be right

Finally we only advice to buy penny stocks with fundamentals with good margin of safety incase you have pull back. It will make the impact on your BE less though with time it will zoom again pass it.

Wapco was a sure bet oh

Elleh lake use admistrative cost finish little revenue, forex gain and biological asset is even small gain.It is well

I believe that in situations like this, the House where your CHN is domiciled gets preference.

A possible solution is to close your account with that House... smiley

What kind of rubbish is this one from transcorp registrar. How could you move my shares after reconstruction to a broker I am selling things thr to exit. I never planned selling my transcorp plc now.How can you move a bigger stock to whr I have small units.
This is really annoying. Then again why did Morgan allow such to happen .

Can I move back my transcorp to whr they removed it from. And this guys sell commission is on the highest range in the market

Recall when you said "my work here is done"?
I pleaded with you not to leave so that you can give more hints... wink

Thank you for the heads up.
Abeg don't stop acting

@ the bolded.

I read EVERY line of the notes in the Q or FY reports.

Most price-moving information are found there wink

Sunrisepebble:
Aradel actually stated in their FY23 results they intended to list on the NGX. This is why one should always read all they can find. I knew of this at the time however I did not think it would have such an impact on the share price. I think as at year end 2023 the share price was #1100 (#55 post split). I have also seen fingers burnt even from publicly declared transactions such as the Dangote Foods transaction. So even public declaration one should be careful.

The way I see this insider info conversation. Me personally, I am not even an insider, however I do get information from a close associate of mine, who MAY be getting information directly from an insider. I don’t know and I do not ask. I am divorced from the insider directly, therefore I believe I can trade on it. It may still be wrong but I’m “acting” grin on the information available to me like any other rational person

Suddenly we have quite a number of saints. We believe it's okay to work for a thief provided we are not the one doing the stealing.
We have ALL enjoyed information about OandO and ARADEL before the market even FMN.
Most respondents jumped to the conclusion that I have direct access to insider information... grin

Now we're getting there.

At the bolded, does this restriction apply to every staff of those companies? wink

We notice that SP moves before results are paste on the board, is it magic?
Even the 'doyen of NGX' did not hide it...

Anyways what do I know huh

Over and out cool

jaybee3:
Definitely Insider Trading

As an example, working for one of the big 4 in a non audit role but holding a relatively high position, i basically can't own shares in companies we audit and the reason is simply because undue advantage as a potential result of having access to privilege info

I fully understand the dos and donts of insider trading... smiley
I said 'act' (decode as you deem fit)
I'm trying to understand DrAwo

robobo:
Yes, you (and close family members) as an employee of SEC would be restricted from some certain transactions depending on the sensitiveness of your role

Even so many CBN /NDIC /AMCON mid - senior mgt are also restricted from banks shares
Investment › Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by KarlTom: 1:53pm On Oct 28, 2024
I believe that it could result in a pump of the SP: They could inflate the SP to, maybe 30, so that investors can snap up the RI @25

Do you care to explain Dr?

If I work in SEC and a memo of an equity I am interested in gets to my table. Are you saying that I am not supposed to act on that information?

I am open to learn sir smiley

DrAwo:
Do you realise you can be investigated, arrested or, worse, prosecuted just for admitting this openlyhuh
Investment › Re: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by KarlTom: 1:24pm On Oct 28, 2024
We talk about spread and diversification.
Personally, I feel we are all traders (directly or indirectly) with one aim: make money with minimal risk.

I have always said that I do not do TA or FA (and I am not willing to start learning).
I rely more on getting information before it is released to the market.
Once I have info, I go BIG.
This way, I make more in a short time with minimal risk compared to waiting months for appreciation or DIV.

Regardless of how we put it, NEWS is what moves the market (reports, board changes, acquisitions etc)

What is good for the goose is not entirely good for the gander o (na manage gander go manage am) wink

Spot on wink

robobo:
subsidiaries of transcorp that generates those figures are not fully owned by them.

so the non controlling interest are the co owners of their subisidiaries

e.g. Trans power is 51% transcorp and 49% others meaning of all the profit from the Transpower only 51% is owned by Trancorp

The kind of news I love to see... smiley

Double Congratulations 🎉🥳

MARKETJJC:
My brother, thank you for your concern. I am appreciative. I am good. I have been a little bit away/inactive for three reasons:

1 just set up an electronics shop at onitsha international market and trying to put things together.

2 Just withdraw a little to read, read and read to upgrade my knowledge

3 Just got married yesterday and now in my honeymoon grin and na Oando do this one grin

I am grateful to Oando PLC and others for fast tracking things for me. grin

Going forward, na still trading 75% and investing for long term 25%.

We are still on course with our 1million to 1 billion naira ten years challenge and it is doable grin

Thanks and regards

Ginalex:
And food prices are being held constant by Amadioha right grin grin? Price of a bag of rice 3 weeks ago was 85k, today it's 105k. When minimum wage was 19,800 bag of rice was 6k hope you know? Who's better off in this case? The person earning 19,800 when rice was 6k per bag or the person earning 75k when a bag of rice is 105k

I doubt the bolded provided the boys are taken care of
The FG will still maintain the contract of Tompolo for the 'surveillance of the pipeline network'
The other parties led by M. A. Dokubo have been settled by the Minister of Petroleum... wink

phadriz:
Companies will get out of forex losses how? Are Nigerian companies selling their products in dollars? Are you saying the accumulated losses will wipe away automatically? Trade surplus will increase when Nigeria is an import economy, a country that couldn't meet OPEC quota.
I think pipeline vandalism will be on the raise in 2025 with the cancellation of ministry of Niger Delta.

Please where are these trillions coming from... sad
designking:
At the basic level, the current minimum wage increase will mean more buying power for workers across the nation. This will increase the turnover of most FMCG and the banks.

The new wage increase means an additional ₦4trillion from the FG, another ₦5trillion from state government and ₦10trillion from the private sector.

This is a lot of money entering the economy
