Negotiations over the proposed merger of Providus Bank and Unity Bank have been stalled over the huge amount of insider credits owed by the directors of Unity Bank. The exact amount of the loan is not clear, but a well-informed management staff of Unity Bank said ‘’it is not less than N4.8 billion’’...

Thank you Madam Mercy (authentic MM) grin

I'm not new to this reshuffling thing.

I decided to mention the issue here because I noticed that over 5million units have been sold yet my displaced order and #1 to #14 are still intact... #OverAndOut smiley

yMcy56:
You're still the next in line if any sales is done on the floor.
Think we've discussed about this here in the past....
The trades you might be seeing will mostly be crossings from one account to another....
That's how it used to be in a situation where there's high demand like this.
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by KarlTom: 12:03pm On Feb 18

It's not MC, it's clear Manipulation...

It's particularly painful because whenever such news drop, I am not having cash to trade. Today I have cash, now this... angry

GeeKudi:
Ah! Might just be from Morgan Capital. Mine read 9:30:03 initially when I sent the order only for me to check later and saw 'modified' at 9:30:12

I have been bullied.

From #4, I have been moved to #96 after only 70k units

angry

GeeKudi:
My bid was placed at exactly 9:30:12 and yet, there over 20m above mine!!!

Anyone who sells their stocks now to enter Japaul may lose on both sides.

I think the reason for this is you have separate CHNs for FSL and MC.

I stand to be corrected but I think it's one CSCS account per CHN.

Else you should write CSCS to notify them of the discrepancy...
ehay:
Good day all,

I just activated my CSCS account online, but can only see stocks I bought 20 years ago through FSL and none from the ones l bought through Morgan Capital which currently use for my trading.
Please do I need to open another CSCS account for Morgan capital? Or is there another way this can be resolved so I can view all stocks purchased through both brokers in one CSCS account?

is there a debt to equity in the recent notIfIcation?

i only saw that of RI

ARADEL now doing 1100, I sold off since below 800.

But I'm contented with my 2%, others should enjoy the 500%
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by KarlTom: 11:08am On Feb 16
I forsee 60+

Reasons:
In other not to cause too much dilution, they need the SP to be as high as possible before the debt-to-equity conversion.

$300m (or ₦450bn @₦1500/$) of RBL is to be converted to equity

If SP is ₦50 = 9bn units
If SP is ₦60 = 7.5bn units
If SP is ₦75 = 6bn units

smiley
Harddiskng:
My question is even if market price finally meets up with the right issue price (N50).

What is the guarantee that price doesn’t slide back to 40s once right issue period is over.

It looks like monkey hunting to me.

InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by KarlTom: 8:54am On Feb 16
Definitely not. A fully subscribed RI will raise about ₦221bn.

The debt-to-equity will do more good in that aspect...
Sunrisepebble:
Will the funds from the RI clear the negative equity position ?
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by KarlTom: 10:38pm On Feb 15
OANDO

Listed shares ~ 12,431,412,481
Treasury = 3,617,677,798
OS = 8,813,734,202
RI = 4,415,867,342
D-to-E = 9,000,000,000 ( $300m = ₦450bn @₦1500/$) of RBL is converted to equity @SP of ₦50 = 9bn units)

Eventual OS could be up to 22,247,602,026 (aside PP and treasury)

Damn! shocked
InvestmentRe: Nigerian Stock Exchange Market Pick Alerts by KarlTom:
