A true legitimate company in the class of an oil and gas should never tell you to pay. Did they send you the mail with an address xxxx@bellsoilandgas.com or something similar?? Or just @yahoo.com or gmail.com. I smell scam, it would be more painful to feel scammed than loose 3k naira. All the best

My personal take on this subject, it is quite shameful Nigeria lost it after IBB took over, I can only imagine how great the nation would have been.
Jonathan had the privilege to prove to Nigerians for 6years of his capabilities. When do we want to start getting things right in this country? I dont care how many roads he built or is building, how does that add up to the gdp of each family. If he enters again for another 4years, if worse things beyond boko haram goes off, we will suffer it and he wont because their is a large disconnect between his government and the people, and his body language is as though someone who believes God anointed the post for him, so he owes nobody any explanation for his inactions, rather he would blame it on others, or say he met it like that, then set up a committee for Nigerians to forget about that issue and prepare to face the next issue.
As for Gen. Buhari, people claim he has lost 3times forgetting that even yaradua accepted it that they rigged him in, so I need another definition of success, is it peoples opinion, or just the powers from the govt? Agagu lost in ondo, and was declared winner from abuja, do you term that a win. Even though the court was eventually able to upturn that, it is easier at state level compared to the federal.
I actually wonder who GMB political advisers are, he is a good man, with good intentions, but he cannot cheat nature, the energy and zeal cannot be like 30years ago, he needs to support a younger person to whom he can trust, a person of integrity and character, a person who is accountable, open and honest( does not have to be hausa, anybody). He should flag such a person out. If GMB is still so eager to be part of the govt, he can be selected for the EFCC chairman, I am sure so many people ex govs and president would flee the country.
Under this present administration, a lot of people have died untimely, and nothing is been done to prevent a future occurrence.

As for those clamoring GEJ till 2019, I pray your family, friends dont get involved in the plague consuming the land all because of negligence from the govt. Everything in life is not about money, if you sell your conscience because of what you have to benefit today, dont forget IBB had it all, now he has lost his wife to cancer, he his aging, and has no freedom to tour the country, go to Nigeria resort to relax because there is none functional. One day you would get old too, if you dont clamour for change, your children might not benefit from a good country called Nigeria.

1. After submission, and the money is been charged from ones account, what next?

I agree with you yet disagree with you, if you want to destroy any economy, target the government and inject corruption into them. If the head looses sanity, what happens to the legs and hand?. The issues with Nigeria has gone so deep it affects every home, but not all, the change must come from the top. If you have a functional leader, you would have a functional Nigerian Citizen. Who are the people mostly involved with rituals? Mostly the rich and politicians, who do they use? And who suffers it most, the masses. They've caught several kidnappers/rituals, but I have not seen them charge the sender to court. Americans have confidence to say God bless America because, they know America wouldn't mind trading, going to war or bending laws to save an american. Chibok girls come to mind, still missing after 131 days and you say the change is with the people. I will give you an example, fashola was able to manage people staying under bridge because he his a disciplined leader/head, why ddidn't he wait for people to get their acts right.

Lol @ seized at the airport. I am mostly amazed why most African countries imbibe the British culture into their systems. The single night I spent in Nairobi made me feel as though I was in UK. Same thing applied when I went to Namibia.
Nigerian government has a lot to export, teach and force their throat in other African countries the way south Africa is already doing by exporting Shoprite to us.
I am sure if they try Nigerian banga, ogbono, egusi, abula, with better goat meat/beef and not all that pork steak or lamb blabla, they would sha like one. Its annoying seeing them eat baked beans when they can personalise the taste of their beans.
I remember a tanzanian girl visiting me once in UK, and I offered her the beef I fried the nigerian way with spice, she almost chopped off her fingers, that tells you our fooda are exportable creating jobs and opportunities for farming. If the Asians can export their varieties of rice and spaghetti to the western world, I see nothing stopping Nigeria (Giant of Africa on paper) exporting ours too.

Thanks a lot for the heads up guys. The challenges about using planes as logistics is that their are no direct flights from Nigeria to Namibia. The last time I went there, I had to sleep over at nairobi before transiting harare to Namibia. The alternative is to go through South Africa, doing that would be costing too much.
@pavore growing strawberries in Nigeria would be a very good one, I think most people in nigeria who have not had the privilege of going out have never seen a strawberry before except in juice.

I appreciate the responses from pavore9 and jethro2, but I have taken time to observe the fruits obtained from neighbouring countries of Namibia and they don't really produce the various fruits that could be obtained from Nigeria.

Though some of them could be gotten from South Africa, but the high exchange rate from South Africa gives Nigeria export over there's.

It takes about four days to travel from Nigeria to Namibia. Therefore transporting the fruits and vegetables with a fridge truck makes it look doable.

While in the UK, most oranges I took where mostly not as juicy as the ones gotten from Nigeria. The pineapples where mostly sour unlike what is obtained from Nigeria/Cotonou.

Pavore9: lt is not realistic. lf you insist on exporting to the countries u mentioned then research their neighbouring countries to see if you can source the fruits & vegetables there.

Please i need to understand why you said it is not realistic, most of the vegetables been eaten in america is from kenya. Please could you answer the question if assuming i was exporting to cameroon for instance.

Hello house, I would like to find out some things from our knowledgeable in house members.
If I want to export fruits and vegetables to African countries such as Zimbabwe and Namibia, here are a list of concerning questions.
1) How can I procure the fruits such as orange, pineapple, water melon, etc and vegs such as carrot, cucumber, cabbage, green peas etc without having to travel to so many states. I know the best bet is to meet with the farmers directly, that takes me to my other question.

2) What states can this fruits and vegs be procured from in Nigeria? If I have to go to each of those states, my concerns are, safety, increase in cost of logistics, and the high stress involved.

3) Is there a place I could get a fridge trailer for hire which can travel from Nigeria to those countries? If yes, what are the documents required for it to be able to cross Nigerian borders.

4) Any other advice is highly welcomed.

. I excluded the international postage and changed my personal address to that of my friend .
My question is; would it be posted to billing address or personal address? because he has left his billing address.
Once they send the verification to him, is it ok if I fill all the forms and send to him to help post it in canada? Or it is best he ssens the wes result to me, then I post it to ghana.

bigfrancis21: I deeply understand your situation, my dear. The employment situation in the country is mostly about connexions and who you know(ima mmadu), save for a few sincere and genuine companies that still give free-and-fair recruitment processes.

I experienced this when I was applying for my IT(industrial training) in my 4th year in the university. I applied to Internship offers in ExxonMobil(I won their scholarship in my first year in the university, renewable till I graduated, and hoped it could give me an upper hand in landing a 6-month internship offer with them) and APM Terminals(an international shipping company located at Apapa Lagos state). Both companies invited me for an aptitude test at PH and VI, Lagos respectively. I went for them, the both tests holding between at a time interval of 1 week. I never heard from Mobil till today. They didn't call any of us who wrote their IT test. Instead, they filled up those spaces with their own relatives who were IT-seeking students.

However, APM Terminals contacted me few weeks later informing me of my success at the aptitude test and inviting me for an oral interview at their magnificent office complex at Apapa which I went for and passed. The package didn't just end there with the IT placement offer - it also came with a scholarship award sum which they paid me at the start of my final year.

I was very impressed with them. My experience with APM Terminals, Apapa proved to me that there are still some, albeit a few, sincere companies in Nigeria who recruit employees on a level playing field. Shell oil company is another one too.

I'll advise that you keep persevering. And you should try both options that I listed. This is Nigeria and its how the system works here most of the time.

That black poo thing is really true, happened to me when I just got to UK, didnt know ontime I was loosing blood. I was given 4 pints of blood after fainting twice and some drugs which healed the very little cut on d linen in my stomach. Please take the information serious as I learnt such cut from ulcer happens to a lot of africans just after they got into UK.

I recently finished my M.Sc from mobile and satellite communication from UK, with a distinction, and I am CCIE R&S written certified. I have also done several trainings in the UK such as the seatel communication, mtn satellite communication and orbits communication for stabilized antennas used on ships and oil rigs. I am still trying to get my foot in the country, still applying and I am beginning to wonder if I did the wrong course lol. Any information of any company my skill is highly essential would be appreciated because I have applied to many places, no feedback or acknowledgement they even received my CV. In my opinion, in 2011 i supported buhari https://www.nairaland.com/628555/jonathan-buhari-don-t-malign#7961143, it was a shame people still went on to vote jonathan based on tribal, ethnic and religious divide. Come 2015, i am not saying buhari has changed from whom he has always been, but he would be highly respected if he could bring forward someone he trusts so much with proven records like his and much younger, it would be the best. He needs to retire and play the game from the background by way of advice.

Jonathan would have carved his name on diamonds if he had not contested in the 2011 election, and if he had ensured there was a completely free and fair election. He would have made a name next to mandela in africa, no one would bother to talk about his loot as a gov. But out of selfish interest, he has gone ahead to almost wipe out the middle class leaving the lower and very lower class struggling for survival.
