What link do I go to, to check my status, I already have my UCI and application number?

About how long does it take from this period to hear from the VO in accra?

Is it true that the international embassies only recognize marriage certificates from ikoyi registry in lagos?

Does my fiancee need to obtain a PCC? And what other things are required asides the 490$+550$ and 15k $ of deposit.

1st application submitted 8th January,2014
1st application received 13th January,2014
1st application returned 27th January,2014 (Never got it till date )
Reason of return : PAYMENT issue resulting from Gtbank credit card (Got to know of the reason after sending mail to CIC...received response on 8th April,2014)
2nd application submitted 20th March,2014
2nd application received 25th March,2014
2nd application returned 4th April,2014 (Received it back 20th June,2014)
Reason for return : NON INCLUSION OF IELTS RESULT( British council Nigeria failed to insert my IELTS result as agreed)
3rd application sent 18th April,2014 via British council AGAIN...this time,a high graded official put his neck down for me to personally supervise the insertion of my IELTS trf.
In addition,I wrote a strong worded letter to CIC telling them I have mandated british council to insert my IELTS since no second copy was available for me as par their procedures.
I also included a photocopy of my IELTS.
Till date,I never knew if British council inserted it or my cover letter worked with the photocopy of my IELTS.
3rd application was received in CIC on 24th April,2014......
I had to send my 3rd application knowing fully well that express entry song will take off by 1st May,2014....I blamed myself 2 days later (26th april,2014) when the new gazette said FSW will continue from 1st May,2014 again
Received PER's email on 13th May,2014 (20 calendar days from date of receipt in CIC)
Got Medical request on 17th October,2014 @ 11.27am
Medicals done on 7th November,2014 (lost three weeks because I was engaged in a different location from where I can do medicals)
Sent requested documents on 7th November,2014
Requested documents received in Accra on 11th November,2014.
Got passport requests on 19th November,2014 @ 12.45am
Sent the passports on 20th November,2014
The passports were received on 24th November,2014 around 11am Nigerian time.
Got passport pick up mail today 8th December,2014 inside my SPAM box @ 12.45pm
Decision made was noticed/seen on ECAS  @  12.05am of 30th November,2014.
Realistically(though I'm yet to sight it),the visa is meant to be valid till 13th November,2015.

The one i received and my boss also received similar calls. They claim to know you because they would mention where you work.
This guy told me we met at mobil, that they needed to supply some chemicals for pipeline blockages, and that the projects where usually given to hausas, but because the hausa mam purchased fake chemicals, so the man came to meet him if he could tell him where to get an original one.
He then told me we should partner, that all i needed was to buy the chemical in lagos and the alhaji would pick it up from me. He calculated the profit to be 40k and he said they usually buy 100 every 2 weekz.
I asked the financial implications, he said i did not meed to spend a dime, that it is the money the alhaji gives me we would use in purchasing it (i was waiting to hear where he wld tell me to pay or cough out my money). I said that is fine, then he said but i would still have to buy the sample @150k first to show the alhaji, ghen ghen here comes that bait. I told him I didnt have the money, he then asked like how much i cld raise, i said 20k, he said 20k is still money. That he would give the alhaji my number to call me, and that he would contact his person in that company if he could supply 1 for sample purpose and as a sign of seriousness we wld deposit 20k. The line went off, my plan was to tell him to send 130k so i will add the 20k to it and give the guy lol. But i missed his call couple of times and i cant use my credit to call a 419. He never called back.


Lesson: They come in various styles and formats, the moment they throw the bait, send card, money etc please run first and talk to people for advice. This festive season, do not be greedy because they would use that greed to take d sap out of your account.

Lagos -ibadan, out of about 140km, like 15km each on two different sides is still been worked on causing so much traffic, the remaining 70km is still in a big mess, and i know why they started work like that is all for the upcoming election. The lagos ore road too is terrible. It hasonly been done about 5km before you get to ore town, although i have not gone past ore to benin but i heard it has been done. But in 6 years with the amount spent in the budget, it is a big shame. I dont care who is in power, be it buhari or jonathan or you, all i want is good governance and security.

6years as president with crude oil selling beyong 100$/ barrel and they blew d money and even depleted external reserves, do you realize Nigeria is been mortgaged. Yes you need to enter Canada within that 1 year. If you do not enter Canada, your visa will expire which means you have to start the whole process again (resubmit another application, ECA, IELTS etc). You are not getting a year passport but a year visa. A visa is a legal document that allows you travel to the issuing country, in this case Canada. It is when you get to Canada that you will be given Permanent Residence (PR) Permit which is what all these is all about and which i believe is valid for 5 years.

But under this administration, the fiscal program is laughable, reserves depleted heavily, Excess Crude Account wiped off. Worse still we are plunged into further debt, all these with increased pump price of petroleum products locally. Yet we have nothing to show in terms of development but all we see is retrogression and institutionalised corruption by officials. In fact, it is not a crime not to be corrupt under this government. Depending on when you plan to land in Canada,the choice is strictly yours.
You should understand that the Canadian stamp that will be placed on your passport have a validity of one year from the date of your medicals.Assuming your medicals was done on 31st January,2015 and you did not renew your passport,The stamp validity was meant to be valid till 30th January,2016 will terminates by Nov,15th which is the time your passport will expire.
But if you renew it before then,the validity will still remain one year.
Just wait till when you get your medicals before you make your decision as it seems to me you many not to be able to renew now until its 6-months before Nov,2015.

Thanks damkollins. After i obtain the stamp on my passport, does it mean I only have 1 year duration to enter Canada ? What if i get the stamp and dont travel till after 1 year? Then since I would be getting a year passport, when i get into Canada, is there something i am to do to reflect the 5years, or I have to renew it after 1 year?

I am in agreement with you that Government performed better in their first term, though exception to this from my own study are exGovernor Tinubu of Lagos and Incumbent Governor Kwankwaso of Kano. Most companies would not be able to cope, the likes of mtn can easily roll back or mass sack employees. I see the dangers coming because right now we are meant to look inward, cut cost of governance, benchmark the budget to like $30/barrel and be saving $40. They should reduce the rate of importation into the country, let us all return to the farm. So many countries in Africa cannot grow crops on there soil, we can have a bilateral agreement with their government and be exporting. Countries like Sudan, Namibia, Libya etc Prayer does a lot, but faith without works is dead James 2-14:16.

@ayampissed, i did call the man on thursday, and on friday when i got to oyigbo, i called him and he didnt pick.
I actually knew a mechanic at oyigbo by the name Jeje, i was just a little skeptical about him fixing the car, but i took my chances with him yesterday, He did an awesome job

They changed the gear switch sensors, and changed the gear oil to ATF gear oil. The wheels, the upper arm just by the shock absorber, a little knob where replaced, i no longer feel the drag while turning as well as the gear jacking. I was advised to go for wheel alignment and balancing.

The exhaust was changed, i mean the pot. The noise has stopped and the car even revs better now.

The transmission oil was changed because of the jerking whilst switching between gears. Or early movement jerking. I recently changed the engine sit, that was what i was told before that it was broken.

For the front wheels it vibrates the steering on motion and gradually drifts to the right

Another person "I" could recommend would have been Fola Adeola, founder of GTB, but Nigeria is not matured enough to be leadership oriented and not religious/ethnic differences.

Oh well, i was thinking, if i had a chance to choose VP for Buhari, i would select Dr Nick Idoko, he does newspaper analysis at 7.30am during the week on rainbow fm, he is someone "i" see that has qualities of true leadership, he critically looks into situations and he his always on point. " I " believe a leader like him would be people oriented and would support Buhari heads on to build a great economy.
Another person "I" would recommend would be pastor Sam of daystar church in lagos. He his an upright man, his teachings by calling is all about leadership. " I " feel if they invite him though, he might not want go into politics knowing how dirty the game in the Nigeria system is, but "I" believe he would if directed by God to lead the people of Nigeria out of the poverty line.

Please notice all my "I's" are in quote meaning they are my opinion. No bashing please, just state yours.
In my opinion this are upright men with integrity (that won't soil their name) and "I" believe we have more people out of 160 Million Nigerians.

I used Buhari because the youths have refused to come out to take mantle of power, and "I" see Buhari (sai gaskya) as he his been called in the north as an upright man.
