Same here, it seems some of us will never register. This PayPal thing has been frustrating me since last week, always getting these error messages when I try to sign up. Have used glo, mtn, airtel, android phone, laptop... name it..it's annoying. Is there no other link apart from the SA? I'v been complaining on this thread and trying everyday but nothing is working. Yes you can be self employed anywhere you are in the country transcribing for a living.

This thread will teach you everything you need to know to start up and the tools needed to deliver the goods.

You would need

1. A PC, tab or mobile phone
2. Affordable internet connection
3. Good head phones
4 Good command of English

Everything else can be learned on this thread. For those of us who have already started transcribing, we're welcome to share our ideas here so that this can be our online community.

A comma before and after a name in mid sentence. A comma before or after a name in salutation.
You're also allowed MINOR corrections for making clear transcripts.
Anyway, read through the FAQ and regularly Consult it while working at least till you acquaint yourself with it's detail

If you've applied before and you failed the transcription test, to apply again u need to use a new email. Once u apply again and u are directed to where u will take the test, simply refresh ur browser continuously till u see clip 6 (the test audio). Then copy and paste the quoted text above and submit.



N.B: Passing the transcription test is the easiest part

Most times we put on our TVs or browse the internet, we often come across auditioning for one reality show or the other; ranging from nationwide shows or other competitions that are campus-based not to talk of the incessant beauty pageantry competitions that are being held, one cannot underestimate the fact that the organisers and sponsors of these events have a lot to give out but then we see that there are very few competitions that are geared towards testing the intellectual capacity of people.

Although, organisers have the freedom to promote what they want to and some people do not see the good in organising one that tests intellect, there is need to encourage those who are good in that aspect. Not everyone can be a beauty queen or a good vocalist or dancer (as these three are the major in Nigeria).

I remember when I was growing up, when the Zain African Challenge was still aired, likewise the MTN Who Wants To Be A Millionaire, I was always looking forward to seeing each episode and even aspiring to be a contestant on those shows but we cannot find such anymore. I so much commend Cowbell Nigeria for the yearly Cowbellpedia and Interswitch for the science-based competition they just concluded.

There is need for sponsors and organisers of these kind of events; events that educate and encourage people, even for students of tertiary institutions and other individuals likewise.

LOL, one would thought you were sport enthusiast bro. Before now, we used to have just 4 group with two qualifiers from each group, but this year, there are 6 groups so we need 4 more teams as best losers to join the 12 teams who qualified as group winners & runners-up to make it 16 teams altogether for round of 16.
